TWO HOURS BEFORE THE OUTBREAK

Faye Langford was in her living room watching her favorite horror movie IT, chomping away on her bucket of popcorn as her ice blue eyes were glued to the screen. "Faye can you turn on the news real quick! your father just texted me saying there's something about a virus or some kind of outbreak ". Her mother aid from the kitchen " hold on! this is the best part mom! they're about to see Pennywise!". Faye said back as she threw some popcorn into her mouth, "Faye Celine now please". Her mother replied as Faye let put a sigh and picked up the remote pausing her movie " okay okay". Faye said as she backed out of her movie and turned on the news as she sat back against the couch cushions as her eye squinted at the tv.
we don't know where this virus came from or the origins of it, but our officers have now found 4 dead on the street to what seems like from an animal of some kind or human? we encourage everyone to stay inside at this time. The news anchor said as her eyes widened as she held her earpiece to her ear and looked into the camera this just in the injured in the hospital have come back to life and has attacked one of the nurses killing her, everyone please lock your doors and stay safe.And just as the news anchor said that all the lights in the house shut off as Faye's eyes widened "mom! what's going on!". Faye said as she started to looked around the dark house "it's probably just the fuse box". Her mother said as Faye got up from the couch and walked over to the backyard door looking out as she saw the street lights turn off one by one. "uhh mom i think the whole neighborhood just lost power..."where's dad! he should be home by now". Faye said as she looked back at her mother. " he's probably almost home faye ". Her mother said " i don't want one if those "things" getting him! i'm gonna go look for him". Faye said as she walked towards the door slipping on her white superstar adidas opening the front door running out.
"Faye Langford! are you crazy get back inside!". Her mother exclaimed as she out down her knife as she walked towards the door " it's dangerous out there i don't want you out there! you could get hurt!". her mother said but Faye was already running down the block "that girl is gonna be the death of my someday". Her mother said as she let out a loud sigh, closing the door locking it going back into the kitchen, Out of breath Faye stopped running and slouched over putting her hands on her legs panting as she tried to catch her breath. "fuck..". She said through her pants as she looked up as she saw a line of cars under the street lights stopped with there doors opened some ripped straight off. "oh god... please no no no". Faye said as she ran over to the line of cars "dad?! dad!". Faye shouted as she ran through the line of cars looking into each one until a familiar silver acura came into her view
"dad!!". Faye shouted as she ran towards the car but stopped as she saw a body next to the car as she stood there frozen shaking "no.. no no no! please". She said as she walked over to him crouching down "oh god.. ". Fay let out a soft cry as she looked down at her dads lifeless body "i'm so sorry dad im so sorry ". she said through her tears as she cried holding her dads hand "uhhh". the sound came from her father's mouth as faye's head lifted up looking at him "dad?..". She said with a scratchy voice, as her dad's eyes opened as they were a milky white as he left out a terrifying scream launching towards her as Faye let out a loud scream getting off the ground and onto her feet. "what the hell!". She yelled as she panted looking around the empty street "dad its me! its Faye please..". She said as she started to back away as her dad stood up and started to run towards her as Faye's eyes widened as she turned around and started to run back towards her house, a few short seconds later her father grabbed onto her back as she let out a scream and tried to free herself but she only fell to the ground "shit!", she said as she kicked him off of her and continued to run, tripping over a broken tree branch Faye fell to the ground with a grunt s she grabbed the tree branch from under her foot and stood up as her dad grabbed her arm "i'm sorry dad..". Faye said as she closed her eyes and stabbed the branch into her dad's head as the blood splattered over her face and clothes as she let him go as he hit the concrete.
As she made it to her home she wiped her eyes and took a big breath noticing the faint light from inside the house before she unlocked the door stepping inside "mom..". She said as she took off her shoes "faye! oh ny god you're o- what happened! who's blood is that all over you?! wheres your father?".Her mother asked as she walked over to faye with a face of concern " i had to... he was gonna kill me mom... i killed dad". Faye said as her eyes started to swell up with tears again " i killed him"
