2 Chapter 2: What lies in the beyond

It's hard to tell when someone is not okay, they can disguise themselves yet others are more obvious than the rest. A person could have everything they've ever wanted but still cry on their own thinking of something; maybe their past, future or what they could have done. Daisy was a different story, she told me she was thankful for everything every single day, hour, minute. "And where are you going after school today?", "oh I'm going to Olives! She invited me for dinner with her parents"... her same smile was stamped in my thoughts. Was it real? Was it fake?

One thing I new for certain is that Olive had feelings for Daisy, Olive is my family friend that we didn't get along with much but needed each-others company just to not be lonely, and that is... yes we where always each-others partners for group projects and such. She isn't a bad person... I just wish I new her more.

Daisy would always run ahead of us and giggle softly jumping on trees and pointing at the clouds accepting her home and the world that we live in even if it's not the best. "Olive! Aubrey! Let's go there!", I had to admit... seeing Daisy was a change of pase from everyone else in this world.

One day in my sophomore year I stand by my locker and contemplate my future and studies, like every other teenager. I wish I could be Daisy or Olive they have fantastic grades in everything, I breathe out and stare at the ceiling whilst everyone is walking in-front of me. I felt eyes on me, a sudden shiver down my neck I walked off as if it was nothing.
