1 Chapter 1: Not The Forgetful Type

I'm well aware that everyone takes their individual time in discovering the good and the bad. When we where all younger we had thought that it's us against the world, that we can do anything and get away with it. Some of us learn the hard way and others simply develop it for their schema for future situations.

I learnt this differently from everyone, for me it was if I got slapped hard by life itself. That I'm a female I need this, that I'm this age I need this, that I'm Aubrey and I need to study hard for a good future. There was no graduate introduction to life I basically took it all in when I joined my year 7 of school.

"Students! Of Red Brook Secondary School! You represent Cardiff as a city! Please do well this year!", the teachers giving out leaflet as we walked into the secondary school made me want to leave already, but something caught my eyes. "Hello! Thank you so much for this fantastic leaflet", a girl next to me slightly taller than me she turned her head towards my direction and we made eye contact. "You must be a freshmen, hello I'm Daisy it's a pleasure to meet you".

Me and Daisy became great friends in school and outside of school, her hair was short and dirty blonde with roundest green eyes. All the boys found her to be the prettiest in the entire school, But me being her best friend I could tell she'd execute the compliments and would see herself as nothing more than a student. "Aubrey do you want to grab lunch with me?", I sat up from my desk and looked up at Olive.

After two years together building up this long tower known as our friendship I got to receive more understanding of her. She would smile often to everyone yet there was something within her that would sink her heart to the lowest it could get.

"Daisy... are you okay?"
