7 Livestock

We all just appeared onto the continent. It was really sudden actually, like we could hardly tell we left heaven since it was also really green and vast, we only noticed when we saw each other, and saw our new forms.

Since we couldn't talk out loud, and forgot to give ourselves telepathy skills, we were sort of at a loss for what to do in the mean time, besides try to level up. I know I didn't mention it earlier but you can evolve by reaching level 100 then requesting and evolution from the system, or have unique circumstances that allow you to evolve faster like the pet to demonic beast evolution.

As of right now all of us were livestock, and so we didn't have the power to kill anything yet, but we could try to unlock skills as a way to level up and evolve, simply not having this information is the reason why so many monsters stay as livestock or pets, but also why intelligent and lucky monsters become so strong and scary.

The elemental God's began trying to use the common language and gain mastery to level up, while Seta tried to become faster, and gain speed skills since it could become a problem later. I on the other hand wanted to fly so I tried with my feeble wings.

I attempted to flap my wings furiously but to no avail could I lift even an inch off the ground. I knew having the skill would make it much easier to be able to fly and grow my proficiency in it through the skill, so I had to think of a few different ways to gain the skill. I knew from my past world birds were typically thrown off their nests to learn how to fly, and since I was a God, I thought this was a genius idea.

I found a tall tree, and hopped between branches, until I eventually reached it's top. From its top I could see Seta just slithering around, and the Elemental Gods drawing in the dirt trying to get a mastery since they didn't have adequate voice boxes to communicate the words verbally yet. Being at the top I wasn't really scared or nervous, so I just decided to jump.

I fell quite a lot faster than I thought I would, and realized this body might actually die within the first hour of having it, so I flapped furiously. I slowly began to slow down, and crashed into the ground with a reduced impact.

"Congratulations, you have unlocked the 'Hover' Skill, with a Perfect Mastery this can evolve, this is known as an evolving skill. Say or think status to see your progress, and how much you have grown."

The voice resounded in my head, it didn't sound like the one I had before, and didn't refer to me as Master Viole, so I knew this was a different system, and must be the one I made. From now on I would refer to this as System 2 since it was clearly inferior to the one I had before. But for now I thought observing my status would be good, so I did what it said, and thought the word status.

A screen appeared before me, and had everything that I wanted it to from when I was making the systems earlier so I was happy, but either way I was shocked because of my progress, I may have given myself a growth skill too good for this world.

I thought it would be good to look at my growth skill again just to see what kind of a thing I actually gave myself and everyone else. It was described as the following:

[Plus Ultra] - The closer you are to the Creator (not Physically though it can help) your experience will rise up to 5000% for even menial tasks such as cooking or walking, until it reaches the absolute maximum, then evolves into something even greater.

Huh. This means that all of the experience I got was 5000% more than it should've been good to know, good to know. I went to look at everyone else's status and they were similarly shocked and had levels around 50 after getting one skill, not that it was bad, it just sort of took the fun out of becoming a mortal, but i guess it was good so we could fix the religions faster.

A bit disappointed we all continued to work on our skills. I went back to go on the tree, and jumped off of it again. This time I hovered about 5 feet into the air, and could move a little, this must be like a very basic form of flight. I flew around for some time, and could eventually see just how fast I was improving, to the point I doubted the skill was even flight anymore because of the speeds I was accomplishing.

To put it into perspective the fastest bird on Earth could go 240 miles per hour, but me, a somewhat fat bird that looked a lot like a chicken with wings that should barely be able to support me hovering, was flying at around 200 miles per hour from what I estimate, and that is pretty shocking if I do say so myself, and it was my own skill.

Before I wasn't really paying attention to sounds because of all the air blowing into my ears, but then I heard System 2 send a message to my head.

"Congratulations you have evolved 'Flight' to 'Sonic Propulsion'."

At this point I started to go faster, and wasn't even flapping my wings, but was rather just like a bullet shooting through the sky. I started to head back towards where Seta and the other's were, and somehow managed to land safely, by landing into a pile of mud that left skid marks as I continued to push myself further into it.

"Congratulations you have unlocked the skill 'Landing'."

They all looked at me, and I looked at them, it seemed like we had all reached the maximum of the livestock evolution, and they were all eager, I assumed they were all looking for me so we could evolve together.

And so that's exactly what we did, a bright light surrounded each of us, and we began to spin, sort of like the Pokemon evolution sequence, needless to say none of us pressed 'b' to cancel, and passed out within the light.
