3rd POV | Forest Near the Kamado Family House | Evening after the Hinokami Kagura Ended |

A blade cut through the air, producing sharp cutting sounds. The blade drew arcs, flowing to various movements smoothly like flowing water.

As we grow closer, we can see the person who was holding the blade, the person had short, jet-black hair and deep violet color that shines with ferocious intent in this moment, the person had a jade skin that shines and a sculpted physique that's like a Greek god's..

This was Ren, and he was performing the Sun Breathing style over and over again for the last 3 hours, never stopping, to the point that he has reached the Thirteenth Form that Yoriichi created 3 times..

"Whew!" Ren sighed in relief as he finished the last technique and stopped.. He sheathed his katana in a graceful and quick manner..

Ren was also wearing a casual blue haori that he had picked for training and the blade that he was holding was a normal katana.

"I'm done..." Ren said, turning away and heading towards the path that lead to the Kamado family house.

A sudden feeling of goosebumps washed over Ren's body as his eyes dilated. A chill ran down his neck as he moved his body to the side...

A small throwing knife flew on the side of his neck and lodged itself on the bark of a tree that was in front of Ren, the knife grazed his neck but it didn't even make the cut bleed.

"Ara..I made sure that would hit you.." A mature female voice spoke through a dark area of the forest..

"Well, no matter..." The woman continued as she revealed herself..

Ren turned back around to see his attacker..He saw a woman who wore a floral patterned kimono and held a red paper umbrella, and who's face was obscured by the shadows but her red glowing eyes with slits revealed what she was..

—Shiiing!

"I thought you demons only have the courage to go out once the sun has fully set?" Ren said as he unsheathed his katana once again.

"I'm not like any other demon...and besides, I just cannot wait..to kill you~" The demon woman finally stepped out of the shadows and revealed her whole self.

"Miss Satsuki? The innkeeper? I didn't take you as that kind of person" Ren smirked like he was mocking the demon woman, who we now know as Miss Satsuki, the Innkeeper at the inn that Lucien and Ren stayed at. She was a beautiful and gentle woman as far as Ren deduced from her appearance, she was graceful, elegant, and mature, like a MILF..

"Ara, you just don't know about my true self.." Miss Satsuki replied like she was unfazed by what Ren said and continued.

"From what I know, you weren't a demon when we first met.." Ren said as he surveyed the possible weaknesses and terrain he could use..

'I'm not gonna use any Light Magic, my wings, Sanael, NP skills, nor use Verlangen..I wanna test myself using my own swordsmanship prowess..' Ren thought as he adjusted his strength and vowed to never use any other skills..

He wants to find out how far his swordsmanship had gotten, so he decided to test and challenge himself..

"Oh I was indeed a human back then, I recently turned into a demon for the sole purpose of—.." Miss Satsuki replied but she was cut off by Ren.

"—Hunting us isn't that right? After all, you came this far to just find us" Ren revealed his assumption after he'd analyzed the situation quickly by <Thought Acceleration>.

"How rude of you! You were right but you didn't need to cut me off like that" Miss Satsuki pouted and put her free hand on her cheek, continuing to keep up her gentle and innocent facade.

"Can I ask for a reason?"

"I'll tell you, since you will die anyways, why not tell you a story for a bit.." Miss Satsuki said a dangerous sentence while still with her innocent facade on..

Satsuki began telling a story of how she met her husband, "At the start, there was a young me who wandered town, and then all of a sudden, a young master's convoy began passing through, I wondered..'Who might this be?', so I joined a crowd forming up on the side of the road..."
