Chapter-63: The Ritual of Hinokami Kagura..And the Revelation to Tanjuro..

3rd POV | Tanjuro's Room |

"..the power of Demons right?" Ren supplemented Tanjuro's sentence with the words that he trailed off with..

Tanjuro's eyes widened and his pupils dilated in shock at Ren's words..He was shocked that Ren knew about demons and believed in them and also about the miracle that just occurred.

"How do you..." Tanjuro asked Ren and trailed off of his word once again, but Ren didn't mind and understood his question.

"I know, I was sent here with a mission to either turn demons back into humans or exterminate them with the main focus of killing Muzan Kibutsuji" Ren explained a different version of his lie.

"You also know of Muzan?!" Tanjuro looked surprised with the amount of information this mysterious so-called "Traveler", has..

"That's natural, I need to know the target for a mission.." Ren said with a soft smile with mysteriousness emanating from his body...

'Pretending to be mysterious..hm...really good at it now' Ren thought inside his mind as he kept his smile. It was good to know the skill of being mysterious and deceiving people as you don't want any unnecessary attention when doing World Quests..

Tanjuro digested the information that he'd just heard in shock. He then looked towards the open sliding door which shows the white wonderland outside.

He caught a small snowflake that was drifting inside the room as he thought of the implications of the situation..

"Why did you reveal yourselves to me? What are your intentions?" Tanjuro was skeptical why Ren had helped him and showed his miraculous abilities while telling his objectives to him deliberately, like Ren wanted him to know..

"Just two words...Hinokami Kagura" Ren raised his index finger as he said what he was after.

The words that Ren uttered struck a bell on his mind and he immediately realized the meaning of what Ren said..

"You came here not by mistake, but for the Hinokami Kagura..?" Tanjuro asked Ren and looked towards him.

"Yes, bluntly speaking, I want to learn the secrets underneath it.." Tanjuro knew what Ren was talking about.. the hidden breathing style within Hinokami Kagura...the Sun Breathing!

Since the Sun Breathing was the pinnacle of the Breathing style and also bestowed with Divine Power, it was technically the ceiling of any sword style in the whole Japan and one that stood on the top of the power scale when it depends on the world..

Ren wanted to learn the unique sword styles in this world to better his skills and reach the true pinnacle of Swordsmanship before moving to other forms of combat and weapons.

"Ufff...Haaah..I can't teach it to you, it's a secret for our family for so many generations now.." Tanjuro reluctantly said as he breathed in..

"I don't need to learn, I just need to watch your ritual, no need for teaching, I suppose I can do that?" Ren explained to Tanjuro that he doesn't need to learn, he just needed to see the movements, the breathing patterns, and the such due to his <Slash Emperor Comprehension>..

"I..guess you can do that, but do you have the patience? You do know that the Hinokami Kagura lasts a whole night.." Tanjuro accepted because he was saved by Ren and owes him a favor..

"I do, I want to learn it, and I have the time and dedication to see to it that I learn it.." Ren replied seriously, showing his willingness.

"I will start in a few minutes, just follow my wife into the ceremonial place while I ready.." Tanjuro said and relented to Ren and Lucien as Ren smiled once more.

"Thank you." Ren just said as he stood up and called the anxious family of Tanjuro outside the room.

"Mrs. Kie, it is finished, please come in" Ren called out to Kie who was standing by the sliding door, anxious of the result.

"Dear...!" Kie made an audible gasp as she saw the renewed vigor and the look of vitality on her husband's face.

"Dear! Oh my goodness! Dear!" Kie rushed to embrace her huband as he reciprocated her desire.

The couple shared a long and warm hug as their children also rushed into the room...

""Papaaa!""

"Father!"

"Otou-sama!"

The children also came over, rushing and being enveloped into a big family hug. The children snifled and also teared up as they felt the warmth of their father.

"Here, here, father will never leave your sides..i'm here" Tanjuro comforted his children as Kie broke away from their hug.

She bowed down to Ren and with the bottom of her heart, tears welling up in her eyes, she said, "Thank you..! Thank you! For saving my husband!!" Kie thanked Ren while her tears finally dripped down.

"Oh, it was nothing, I only did what I had to do.." Ren comforted Kie as he invited her to stand up from her bow.

"Truly..!"

"I told you Okaa-san, Mr. Ren is extraordinary!" Tanjiro said within sobs and sniffles as he said to his mother.

"I have learned medicine from my travels, so I'm fine with applying it whenever I can" Ren said as he crossed his arms and exuded confidence when he stated.

"Thank you very much!" Tanjiro also bowed in deep gratitude and respect as Ren, once again made him stand up.

"It's alright, I owe you a favor since we're staying in your house, I just needed to return it" Ren reasoned with Tanjiro who beamed with joy...

After that, Ren and Lucien went back to their room and chatted with each other...

10 minutes later...Ren and Lucien were both called out by Kie, informing them that the Hinokami Kagura ritual was about to begin..

"Oh, is the ritual starting?" Lucien asked first.

"Yes, and I will lead you two to the sacred site where my husband will dance from morning til daybreak and then until dawn" Kie happily explained.

"Well, let's go now, since the ritual is about to start soon.." Ren chimed in as he wore his haori with a fluff around the collar for warding off the cold.

"Okay.." Lucien said as he also readied up..
