Volume 1 - Chapter 2: Kuoh Academy (1)

"Good morning everyone," said Sora as he came downstair as he saw his family and Digimon at the table.

Their ears perked up at the sound of Sora's greeting as they welcomed Sora warmly. Agumon simply waved his hand back with his mouth full of food at Sora and went back to eating more.

…

Sora shook his head at Agumon's greeting. He expected little from this glutton seriously. At least Gabumon greeted him with his mouth empty but also went back eating.

Sora sighed at his partner's usual greeting at breakfast. Those two are really similar, thought Sora. No wonder they could become Omnimon in the future.

As Sora was about to take a seat, he suddenly got ambushed by a cute little girl. The little girl grabbed hold of Sora's leg as he smiled warmly at the ambusher.

It was Sora's little sister. Her name is Kobato Heiwajima. This little bundle of energy is one of the most important person in the world for Sora. Kobato has golden-blond hair and blue eyes.

She mainly keeps her hair flowing down, but still has two small horse tails from each side. Kobato is currently dressed in a pink shirt and a skirt and she is currently carrying a patchwork stuffed rabbit.

Kobato was currently hugging Sora's leg as he bend down and took her in his hand. He walked toward his seat with his sister in hand.

As he sat down, he inspected at the table current situation. His father, Arata Heiwajima, greeted him as he didn't look up from reading today's newspaper.

His mother Aoi Heiwajima is currently carrying food toward the table as she greeted Sora in a hurry. Not before going back into the kitchen and his loyal partners... let's not talk about them.

Sora soon got his attention, attracted by his sister as she pulled Sora's cheek. Oops, looks like he got her annoyed by not paying her attention.

Indeed, as soon as Sora looked at his little sister's face, he saw Kobato pouting with a little tear coming out of her eye.

"Nii-nii-nii-tan" said Kobato with a small grievance as Sora ignored her for after picking her up. Her small outburst attracted everyone's attention as they all glared at Sora. Even his two partners…

Well, at least it's good to know that everyone care about Kobato.

"Sorry, Kobato, I got a little distracted there. Please forgive your big brother, will you?" said Sora as he looked at his sister.

Kobato blinked as her face brightened up as she saw her brother talking to her. Kobato lover her brother Sora a lot. Sora always spoiled Kobato since he crossed into this world.

Kobato put her hands on her mouth as she giggled happily. His family at the table nodded in satisfaction as they saw Kobato smiling again as they returned to their previous state.

Sora shook his head at his family as he continued to talk with his little sister.

"Forgive you, Ni-tan. Love you too Ni-tan." Said Kobato as she hugged Sora's neck. She soon released Sora's neck as she remembered trying to say something when Sora didn't respond to her.

"OH! Almost forgot!" exclaimed Kobato, as Sora got a little curious about his little sister's small exclamation. Sora tilted his head in puzzlement as he waited for his sister's explanation.

"Hehe, good morning Ni-tan!" said Kobato with a big smile on her face. Sora was a little stunned by his cute little sister. Sora hugged his sister back as he showered her with a light kiss.

He missed those brief interactions with his little sister back in his old world. He was glad to experience it again in this world. Even after all these years, he will never tire of this little cutie in his arms.

"Good morning to you to Kobato." Said Sora with a smile on his face. Their little siblings' moments brought a smile out of his father as he folded the newspaper. The same could be said to his mother, who was finally seated in her seat.

They got ready to eat as Kobato didn't move from her brother's arms as they ate on the same plate today as well.

The family ate pleasantly and finished soon enough. Sora's father had to go to work and Sora himself will start his first day as a teacher at Kuoh Academy.

Sora has to expand his influence and power in the world. Sora's current influence in the supernatural world in currently minimal.

Sora's other Digimon are currently working for both sides of the world.

In the "Ordinary" side of the world, most of his Digimon are doing some simple hacking task as long as they got paid.

While in the "Supernatural" world, he created a Digimon mercenary squad working for most supernatural factions.

But he usually took tasks from the Grigori and the Yokai factions. They paid Sora generously and Sora and his Digimon completed their task well, so they made a sort of "alliance".

This current alliance is a great boon for his him and his Digimon. The Grigori can provide materials with discount for Sora or buying Sora's unnecessary items.

Moreover, the Yokai faction also provided the same benefits and Senjutsu guidance. Sora didn't know why the Queen of Yokai herself helped him personally.

She gave Sora a very charming impression. Even now, he couldn't help but think about her. Sora silently promised in his heart to visit Kyoto again.

As for his current strength, Sora is nothing more but a "Peak High Class" according to the DxD Power Gauge. This is, of course, without his Digimon in the calculation.

They separate the power system in the supernatural world in 10 classes.

While it might seem depressing as a human, Sora believes he will surpass anyone in this world with his own hands. Humankind has their own limitation, but Sora is someone with a Longinus, a god killer artifact.

Sora is a transmigrated soul from a world with multiple Anime/Movies/Games that he can take inspiration from. He will grow stronger and break the shackle of his race.

"Hey Sora! You should leave soon and you can't be late as a teacher." shouted Sora's father as he shouted at him from the door as he prepared to leave.

This cry woke up Sora from his thinking state as he took out his phone. He saw that school would start soon. He better leave now and prepare for his first class.

"Thanks Dad, I'll leave soon." Said Sora as he stood up from his chair with his little sister in his arms. He completely ignored her cute pout.

Sora gave his sister to his mother as he left for his room. He needed his bag with his stuffs inside for school.

"I'm leaving mom, sister and Agumon." Said Sora as he left the door with Gabumon entering the Digivice. He left Agumon with his mother and sister for protection while he take Gabumon with him at school.

As for his dad, he left him with his third Digimon that is probably sleeping on his dad's phone. As Sora left the door, he saw his sister in his mother's arms and Agumon beside them as they waved him goodbye.

Sora waved back with a smile as he looked at the sky. He took a deep breath and couldn't help but think that it would be a good day.

Sora arrived at the Kuoh Academy's gate filled with girls. He couldn't help but notice those looks given by the students.

The current Kuoh is an All girls' school and not the Co-ed like in the animation. But It would soon become a Co-Ed School by the intervention of Sona Sitri and Rias Gremory in three years.

There are few teachers at Kuoh, so the students are very interested in the sudden appearance of a teacher at their school.

Sora was a definitely handsome young man that naturally satisfied those young girls' fantasy.

However, Sora soon noticed the numbers of student getting bigger and bigger as they surrounded him. Sora stiffed a smile as he hurriedly walked inside the building. He didn't want to get entangled with those hormonal kids.

Sora didn't waste his time as he found the faculty room. He saw his fellow teachers as he saw someone waiting in front of the door. The female was really familiar to him but she shouldn't be here in DxD.

If he remembers right, this woman should be Shizuka Hiratsuka from Oregairu.

Shizuka is a tall woman with long black hair that falls over her shoulders and reaches her shins. She has unkempt bangs that cover her purple eyes. She is usually seen wearing a lab coat over her work uniform: a black vest with a dress shirt underneath, black pants, and a tie that she wears loosely.

Sora scratched his head in puzzlement but took the bullet and try a communication. Hiratsuka noticed Sora approaching her as Sora saw her expression brighten up a little. Sora saw her coming at him with a little of joy.

"Hello, my name is Shizuka Hiratsuka, I'm a Modern Japanese teacher at Kuoh Academy." Said Hiratsuka as she introduced herself to Sora as they shook hand. Sora naturally introduced himself to Hiratsuka.

"Ah! so you are Sora Heiwajima, the new English teacher. I'm the teacher that is supposed to help you for your first day at work."

"So if you need to know something, you can ask me." Said Hiratsuka with a little of enthusiasm.

Well Sora took her offers with great interested. This was his first day at work and as a teacher. He needed to know more before starting his job. Hiratsuka and Sora entered inside the faculty room as they chatted between themselves.

Hiratsuka showed Sora his own space with his desk and everything. Sora noticed many of his colleague inside the room. He saw three males in the corners of the room.

He acquainted himself with those three teachers. After all, with so many females in the school. Those three guys could make him feel a little sense of unity.

He excused himself from Hiratsuka as he stated his reason. Hiratsuka simply smirked in response and left Sora with a wave not before getting his numbers. Sora simply scratched his head with a small laugh.

Sora walked toward those three people as they quickly noticed Sora's figure coming at them.

"Yo! So another one joined this school." Teacher 1

"Hey nice to see another guy here!" Teacher 2

"Finally, another young blood here!" Teacher 3

Sora scratched his head with a smile as he noticed their overwhelming greetings.

"Nice to meet you guys. My name is Sora Heiwajima, the new English teacher." Said Sora as he shook everyone's hands.

"Oh? The new English teacher no wonder why. I didn't see Hinata today." Said Teacher 2 as the new surprised him. The two guys next to him shook their head in disbelieve.

"Really Junichirou? Didn't you notice Hinata's big stomach? She took a maternity leave recently, and we even threw a party for her leave." Said teacher 1.

"Ah? She was pregnant? I just thought that she gained more weight lately." Said Junichirou carelessly.

"Damn Otaku.." muttered teacher 3 but got noticed by the now ticked off Junichirou.

"Hey! Hey! now you gorilla, that's a low blow." Said Junichirou with a glare. His words ended up angering the supposed gorilla of the group.

"Gorilla!?, Your are the gorilla!, your entire family is a gorilla!" shouted the now angry gorilla?

"AH!? You want a fight?" responded the angry Junichirou as he pulled the sleeves of his coat.

"Bring it on you damn otaku!" said the gorilla

"Now, now calm down you guys didn't you forget about the newcomer and don't forget to introduce yourself." Said teacher 1 as he calmed his friends.

"Don't mind them too much Sora, the red-headed idiot over there is Junichirou Kagami, the science teacher." Said the guys as he pointed to the now sulking Junichirou.

Kagami has red hair that appears to be tied in a ponytail, blue eyes and black rectangular glasses.

He often wears his lab coat over a shirt with a hoodie, but puts the hood above the lab coat.

"The big guy over there is Takeshi Ooshima, the P. E teacher."

He has short, spiky, blue-black hair and a very angular face. He has very narrow brown eyes. He usually wears a white T-shirt and a yellow track shirt with blue and white stripes. There is usually a whistle around his neck.

"Ah! I forgot to introduce myself, didn't I? My name is Noboru Taki, the music teacher." Said Noboru as he waved his hand.

Taki is considered an attractive man because of his unkempt dark hair, deep-blue eyes and slim form. He is popular among the school's girls because of his good looks, and he is quite tall.

Taki always wears high-brow half-rimmed glasses. He wears short-sleeved button-ups under sleeveless sweaters and khaki pants.

"Nice to meet you guys," said Sora as he got introduced to everyone. The atmosphere became a little easier after this small interlude between Junichirou and Takeshi. Sora got even more information from his three new friends.

Taki confirmed suspicion, as they were the only male at Kuoh Academy currently. They talked a little more before Sora left for his first class, not before getting everyone contacts.

"Ah! My next class is starting soon. I'll leave with Sora. See you at dinner, guys." Said Taki as he watched his watch.

Junichirou and Takeshi waved them goodbye as they went back to their talk. Sora and Taki said goodbye to the other teachers in the faculty room as they both separated for their own class.

Hello everyone, long time, huh? I squeezed a chapter between my laziness and vacation. So this is chapter was more focused on introducing characters and Sora's relationship with them.

Don't worry, we will get into the Digimon soon enough, maybe in the next or two chapters?
