8 Chapter 7: Capital of Slaves (part 2)

"Please...he..lp...m-"

She then collapsed onto the floor and a message appeared.

[Hidden <quest>]

Description: ???

Difficulty: A~S

Time: 1 month

Reward: ???

Failure: ???

So the description needs to come out her own mouth then. I decided to help her, I carried her on my back and rushed to the mansion, it could've been better if I know where the hospital is, but I don't.

[The <gods> of 'Shamayim' are proud of your decision.]

[The <god> '???' Is looking forward on what'll you do.]

When I entered the mansion I was greeted by Zei and she immediately recognized the situation, I guess she also received the quest. Zei checked the woman on my back and said.

"Carry her to my room."

I nodded and followed Zei to her room. I noticed that no one is home I asked Zei.

"Where is everyone?"

"They're already in their rooms, some are even doing...stuff."

Oblivious to what I asked, it looks like a question that shouldn't be asked.

"What stuff?"

Zei's face became red as a tomato and said. "Never mind that! And we're already here."

Zei opened the door to see Chieko, Yuki, and Midori inside of her room. I went in and Chieko said. "Oh my, well if it isn't Rai-kun, oh and welcome back Komatsu-san."

I then entered the room and said.

"No time for greetings, and could you make some space Chieko."

Chieko noticed the person behind me being carried on my back and she stood up and went to Midori's side. I laid the person on the bed and removed her hood, this made Chieko and Yuki flinch, while Midori asked me.

"What happened to her?"

"I don't know, but it looks like me and Zei got a hidden <quest> and Zei please could you heal her?"

"I can, but this'll take a minute as I'm more of a offensive caster, than a support."

I looked at the extra people around, Chieko, and Yuki Arakan, why are they here? don't they have their own parties.

Chieko looked at my face and suddenly laughed she then said.

"Do you know why we're here in the first place?"

She just read my mind, I looked at the party members list and became dumbfounded.

"So you've decided to join my party."

"Our party, Rai-kun we've decided it's for the best. There'll be a team for clearing world <quests> and a team to clear the minor ones like side and main <quests>."

"Wait there's such a thing as world <quests>."

Yuki then spoke up in disappointment.

"You don't know? *sigh* fine I'll explain it, a side <quest> is given by a civilian or just some random errands, the main <quests> are given directly by guild masters or the king of a country sometimes even just high ranking officials will be sufficient, now the world <quests> is given by the <gods> or given by the <will of the world>, now do you have any questions Rai?"

I shook my head and suddenly Zei tapped me on the back and said.

"Both of you and Yuki need to get out first."

"Huh, why though?"

I looked behind Zei and the girl that was previously injured is not wearing anything and is now fully healed, while I was observing Midori hit me in the face with the sheath of her sword and I was launched outside the room. Yuki which was now waiting outside the room leaned back against the wall snickered.

"Since we're a part of the same party now, I might steal your spotlight."

Me who was laying on the floor answered.

"Try it if you can."

His face burrowed and faced towards the opposite side.

A minute later of pure awkwardness Midori went out and glared at me.

"Look, I know what I did was wrong, and I'm terribly sorry about it."

Midori sighed and said.

"Just get inside, oh also she's awake but keep the questioning to a minimum."

As I entered inside, I see a girl with long red hair and bright amber eyes, wait a minute, horns! There are horns on her head branching forwards, it looks like it comes from the sides of the head probably right above the ear, oh and she's not naked anymore.

"Hello? are you feeling alright?"

She then stared at Zei who asked her that and she timidly said.

"Y-yes I'm, m-my name is Kayda, a-and I need your help please free us from slavery!"

[<Quest> update]

Description: free the slaves that are being sold for corrupt nobles, inside the kingdom of Uric

Difficulty: A~S

Time: 1 month

Reward: favor of Tiamat.

Failure: Tiamat will hunt you down.

[The <god> '???' Advices you to not do the mission]

[The <god> 'Chieftain of the Guardian Angels' glares at '???' For his injustice]

[The <god> 'Judge of Fire' glares at '???'For his injustice]

[The <gods> awaits your decision]

As messages began booming, I could also feel the gazes of my newly expanded team on me.

Kayda then stood up and made a perfect dogeza and she said.

"Please O' great dragon slayers, save them, you don't even need to save me just them."

As I heard this Midori spoke up together with Yuki.

"We accept the quest."

Then Midori looked at me and said.

"Isn't that right, Akamine-san."

[The <gods> are focused on your decision]

"Y-yes, we will help you Kayda."

I said hesitantly causing my party members to look at me, I looked at Kayda thinking of the rewards that'll come with the <quest> but the risk is too high. but I still agreed.

"Yes we will help you Kayda."

Now the die has been cast.

[The <god> '???' Is disappointed in you]

[Some <gods> of 'Shamayim' disapproves of your decision]

[The <god> 'Chieftain of the Guardian Angels' has taken interest in you and will continue blessing you and your party on your journey ]

[The <god> 'Judge of Fire' has taken interest in you and will now bless you on your journey]

The messages are rather, becoming annoying, then Midori helped Kayda up as she was crying in joy as there is someone willing to help her. And I suggested.

"Okay, you need to get to rest Kayda."

"..."

Well it looks like she's already fell asleep, Midori laid her down on the bed, she then looked at me and said.

"Look there aren't many beds fit for all of us so one has to sleep on the couch."

All of them looked at me, I *sighed* and agreed to it. As I was getting cozy Chieko approached me.

"So what's the plan, fearless leader."

"I have no plan, I was basically forced into this quest as well."

"Kayda would be so sad, oh and her mother Tiamat might be hungry."

I got shivers down my spine and I turned to her.

"Look you and Yuki are smart enough, won't you think of a plan?"

"Heh, but this quest is more suited for you and your suicidal tendencies."

I remembered the plan I told Zei back then when we fought the dragon Igneous. I resigned and said.

"Fine, I'll think of something, goodnight!"

Chieko giggled as she left, I looked up the ceiling and I closed my eyes.

[Foresight lvl 6 has been activated]

In the midst of a huge crowd I could see different races ranging from elves, dwarves, lizard folk, and people like Kayda. And to my side I see Midori holding a banner and burning it, as she burnt it the crowd screamed not in terror but a cry, a cry for freedom.

[The <gods> want to see the uprising]

***

In a castle hidden between the mountains two men stood.

[It's been a long time old friend]

[To you as well 'Arthur Lionheart']

[Do you think our descendants will be able to finish what we have started]

The man looked beyond the horizon and said.

[Well let's wait and see]

Both of them went inside the castle that has a dragon's sigil on the banner
