6 Chapter 5: A New Beginning (End)

I went out of the room with my really damaged and worn-out uniform and equipment; I saw the guild master and she greeted me.

"Oh, you're finally awake, come with me for a while you need to... get properly dressed."

The guild master said while looking at my tattered clothing while walking in an empty guildhall.

"Wait, where's Zei? In fact, where are all the adventurers?"

"Since it's the final day, they're choosing their supporting <gods >, it's not only the <heroes > who get to choose, you know. This particular event only takes place at least once a year, it also happens everywhere as long as there's an <apostle > in the specific place."

She points over to a vacant room and I went in there to change my clothes, (why does this feel like a job interview, am I actually going to meet them.) I thought to myself, after changing my clothes, the guild master took my hand to lead me into a wall, I closed my eyes to brace for impact, but instead, we passed through it, inside was a hallway, a really long hallway, there were many doors with no nobs nor handle to open them, the guild master snapped her finger and a door next to me opened a room with only a table and a pair of chairs where there, the guild master looked at me and shoved me to the room closing the door, she left with the words.

"Choose carefully"

I sat down and waited, at first I didn't actually care, but then a minute has passed and none have shown up, I reassured myself they must be running late yes just late, 2 minutes has passed, the words of the guild master resounded in me "Choose carefully." I was sweating bullets what do these words mean, probably if I choose a weak one I lag behind even more, then 5 full minutes have passed. I heard a knock and the door opened before I was scared but now I was afraid of what is to come.

[Hello, sorry I was late.]

A woman with silver hair and light blue eyes, not only that she has wings on her back, but she's also wearing a bareback white dress with a blue sash tied around her waist. And I could feel the pressure just from her appearing in front of me. She then took a seat.

"Umm, no worries I just arrived here myself. Ms?"

Obviously, that was a lie, I came here 7 or so minutes ago, but the aura she emits is pure, but somehow I'm kind of scared.

She then stood up from her seat and grabbed my hands.

[I know that Uriel went down here to warn you but, if you pick one of us then we'll promise you protection from the other pantheons, and help you defeat your future enemies as well.]

She noticed that she was holding my hands, her face turned completely red and she let go before saying.

[A-anyways, I-I'll give you time to think Ummm, see you later.]

She then exited, I then looked at the screen and thought to myself (well, if I remember correctly these are three archangels, I don't know why they have an interest in me but... I guess it's because of my trait.) then someone knocked on the door. This time a man with a cloak on and has wings that have no flesh and feathers, and there are locusts surrounding him like a fog, as he appeared I felt a cold wind behind my neck and every fiber of my being is telling me to run. Then he said.

[Hello, son of man, My name is Abaddon and I represent 'Sheol.' If you choose us then we'll grant you power beyond your wildest dreams.]

He disappeared quickly, as he appeared. And a screen showed up in front of me.

Prince of Hell Lucifer 'King of Sheol'

I couldn't believe it two demons want me, well I guess that's why the angels also appeared so that I won't fall into the hands of the demon. Another knock came from the door, I quickly composed myself. But no one came in, there weren't any messages either, they probably must've knocked on the wrong door.

30 minutes have passed I have been visited by. Susanoo from the Shinto religion, Ishtar from Mesopotamia, Tonatiuh from the Aztecs, Ares from the greeks, Baldur from the Nordic gods, and some others that are not part of any pantheons. They are all-powerful in their own rights, but this is giving me a hard time choosing, I might accidentally start an all-out war between 'pantheons' if I choose their enemy, after all of that. I was summoned into the arena there is a stage and Chieko is standing there.

"I choose, Artemis 'Goddess of the Moon.' As my <supporter > and Apollo 'God of the Sun.' As my secondary <supporter >."

The light then surrounded her, as it granted her blessings, You could choose two <supporters > but some put certain conditions so that you won't choose multiple supporters which was kind of annoying.

"Oh there you are Rai, you are the last one to pick a <supporter >."

The guild master tapped my shoulder, and gave me a little push forwards, I looked around and there was no one, but I could feel dozens of gazes as if I entered the classroom late, I looked at the side of the stage I see Midori and Zei waving at me the sight gave me a little courage in what I'm about to do.

As I stood on the stage I felt the pressure all around me and my choice, damn this is why I don't like being famous, one slip of words could cause a whole lot of trouble

"I choose...-"

Suddenly electricity formed around me and electrocuted me. A message popped up.

Then another message appeared this time from the <quests >

[You have completed the 'Tutorial' you will now move to another place.]

The light then suddenly surrounded my body so as my classmates and teleported us to a different place. And messages began appearing, before we were transported I saw the guild master with a slight smirk on her face mouthing the words.

"This'll be interesting."

[The <gods > of 'Asgard' will continue to watch you.]

Well, this'll be troublesome. I opened my eyes to see a beautiful field surrounding me and my classmates, a gentle breeze hit my face. And beyond the field, we saw a kingdom. this is just the beginning.
