12 Chapter 11: Rebelion (Part 3)

Now it is time at the end of the second week. The whole party including me are riding on a wagon being pulled by 2 horses, and I looked at my stats to see how far I've progressed.

I'm quite proud with my stats, but compared to the rest, it looks like I'm just a child who's been given a RPG.

Zei looked at me and she smirked.

"It's a secret."

I sighed and it looks like I'm the weakest in the group again.

"Don't worry Akamine-sama stats isn't everything, like when you beaten me you use your skills and experience."

"Thank you for trying to cheer me up but compared to these monsters, skills and experience won't be enough."

I looked at my party members as they were chatting amongst themselves.

"My savior look it's a dragon's banner."

As Kayda pointed at a banner that has a dragon for a design, Zei started lecturing us as to why the design of the banner is like that.

"In history, Ulric the first king was a half dragon, and really close friends to the draconic kingdom."

Well that was what my mind summarized it to.

"Once we get in there we'll split into groups to cover more grounds."

I looked at Kayda who has a great sword for a weapon. We started taking her on quests after we went back from 'negotiating' with the queen and it looks her growth was huge as well.

"Rai-kun why don't we take a day off for a while, we've been working hard since you became our tactician."

I looked at Chieko who suggested that, and the whole party was looking at me, I sighed and said.

"Okay we'll take a break once we get, a map, and a place to stay in as well."

They all sighed in relief while Kayda hugged my arm. The driver of the wagon then said.

"We're here at the capital, Kingdom of Ulric."

We hopped off the wagon and I said.

"Thanks Mr. Jacob Wilson."

"Ah no problem, if you need a lift next time I'll be sure to give you one."

We then head inside the massive walls, and first thing we see, was a lot people but only humans though and poverty was obvious in these parts. I looked at Kayda who's horns have disappeared.

"Don't worry Rai, I've already casted an illusion spell that'll make it look like it's not there."

"Thanks Zei."

It was a bustling street, easy enough to get lost in. I could see people wearing armor and I could see they have dog tags ranging from bronze to platinum.

"Looks like they kept a 2 century old system."

Chieko looked at me and then said.

"Well I'll go with Midori-chi and go shopping."

"I'll head to a nearby bookstore with Yuki."

With that, I'm alone with my loyal samurai and half dragon friend.

"Well then let's look for a place to stay shall we."

"As you command Akamine-sama."

"Yes my savior."

We went to a nearby tavern and I heard there was a bard singing praises of heroes.

"Hear ye, Hear ye, the Empire of Jaesh has been taken over by the hero Yoon-Yong-il and her party."

"Damn even koreans have been transported to this world!"

I looked at Ryoto thinking that he's a bit racist and I said.

"At least we aren't the only ones here."

"Well you could say that Akamine-sama, but what if they harbor hatred towards us I mean we're japanese and all."

"You're the only one thinking like that Ryoto, but now we have to take account that there might be more nations other than korea and japan."

Ryoto nodded and Kayda just looked confused as to what we're talking about. I patted her on the head and went to the reception desk.

"Is there any rooms available."

"You're in luck, we only have two rooms left but they're the fancy type so it'll be expensive."

"How much?"

He looked at me before saying.

"5 gold per night will be enough."

"Okay I'll pay for 1 week and I'll rent 2 rooms please."

I took out a gold pouch giving him 70 gold.

"Hey you good for nothing, show these guests to their rooms please."

"Uh sorry I'll show them the way immediately."

I looked at the woman who have a metal collar around her neck.

[The <gods> are wondering on what you will do]

As we went up I could see Midori clenching her fist until it bled and Ryoto avoiding looking at the woman.

"Here we are sir, I hope you can have a great stay, oh I almost forgot here are the keys."

"Thank you."

She left and waved goodbye but when her sleeves rolled back just a little, I could see wounds on her hands Kayda had enough and tried to unsheathe her great sword.

"Kayda, stop this is not part Akamine-sama's plan."

"But Ryoto, she's in pain."

"We know Kayda, but save that anger when we've started the rebellion."

Kayda steadied her breathing and I opened the door to the room it was big and it has three beds inside. Then I've sent a party message to everyone.

Rai: I've already found a place where we could stay at.

"Hey Ryoto catch."

"What is it Akamine-sama."

I gave him a pouch with 1,000 gold inside.

"Go take Kayda outside and buy some food or whatever, I'll go take rest, oh and Ryoto if you find any of our party members along the way make sure to tell them where we'll stay at."

"Consider it done Akamine-sama."

"But I want to stay with my Savior."

I patted her on the head and said.

"You're already strong, you don't need my protection, plus I heard that they got that spicy chicken wing."

Kayda looked at me in the eyes before saying.

"Okay, if my savior thinks so highly of me then I'll go."

When she left she whispered something to Ryoto.

I laid down on one of the beds and a message appeared.

My head began pounding as my body temperature rises, I feel like my head was being forced to split apart, is this a sudden lashback from over using that skill for the entire time we've been transported to this world.

I slowly closed my eyes to sleep not even trying to use [Foresight].

It's the same scene for the past 2 weeks, me heavily beaten up in front of a screen, not only this the only thing that has been showing, I could also feel the pain, but something was different.

I could see a woman with long wavy blonde hair paired with emerald eyes and she have large wings on her back, she's being reflected onto the screen, she walked up behind me melted the cuffs on my feet and hands given I could still feel the heat of the molten metal, let's just say that hurts like hell.

Chieko and Midori was chatting as they were going around the area supposedly 'scouting'.

"Ehhh so what happened next?"

"Sorry but maybe I'll tell you later Chieko."

Chieko then started softly punching Midori, but the latter didn't mind but giggled instead.

"Don't leave me on a cliffhanger Midori-chi!"

"Anyways look it's Kayda and Ryoto."

Midori pointed at them as she saw them, Kayda was holding a bucket filled of what seems to be chicken wings.

"Oh there's Yuki and Komatsu-san as well."

Chieko went up to them with Midori following behind shortly.

"So where are you headed Yuki?"

"Oh Chieko, we're going to the place where we'll be staying at for the time being."

"I hope it's not some run downed inn or something."

Kayda was eating some spicy wings and Zei is reading a book.

"Well then let's go there already it's about to get dark."

As they went there and into their rooms the party noticed the suffering Rai on his bed.

"Uwah! Savior what happened?"

"Don't worry Kayda I got this."

Ryoto then started shaking Rai violently, Yuki punched Ryoto in the stomach hard enough to render him unconscious and he carried him to the other bed.

"Zei can you handle this?"

"Yes I can so you guys rest."

Midori looked at the pale unconscious Rai before leaving Chieko and Yuki soon left as well.

"Kayda you can go ahead and sleep."

"But my savior is feeling pain."

"Don't worry I'll make that pain go away."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure."

Zei patted Kayda on the head as to reassured her and Kayda smiled, she looked at Rai one last time before going to sleep.

Zei's hand began glowing and touched Rai's chest and then Rai held Zei's hand causing her face to go red and she held Rai's hand back.

I woke up with Zei healing me while we're holding hands, and she was looking around the room with a red face trying to check if anyone was there or if anyone is awake.

"I'll let go now."

"Wahhh! You're awake?"

"Yeah and I'm feeling better thanks to you."

"No problem Rai."

Zei stood up and said that softly.

"Look, don't overwork yourself next time okay."

"Yes, yes, thank you for worrying about me."

I smiled at her and she left the room with a red face, I looked outside the window to find that it's nighttime. I checked the other beds to find Ryoto and Kayda already occupying them and was asleep.

I slowly stood up and went to the balcony.

"Oh Rai-kun how have you been feeling."

I looked to where the sound is coming from and it was Chieko also looking at the view.

"I'm feeling okay now to be honest, you know the view ain't half bad."

I looked at the view of the wide empty streets with the lampposts turned on, the air is pretty peaceful for a place that'll soon turn into a war zone, I guess that's what you call the calm before the storm.

"Say, Rai-kun do you think we'll ever go back to our world?"

"I don't know, but why do you ask."

"Well if we never got transported here, we wouldn't be able to talk like this."

"You're right, but I think when we get back we'll still be friends right?"

Chieko giggled at my answer, and looks out the beautiful view of the moon in the sky and the stars are clear, it was breathtaking, I looked at Chieko now noticed how beautiful she looks, I quickly shrugged it off thinking that's its only because of the setting.

Chieko noticed that I was ogling at her, she then winked at me, and she said in a smug tone.

"See, something you like?"

"S-Shut up!, and you better sleep cause of the plan for tomorrow."

Chieko laughed softly, she nodded and went back to her room. I sighed but checked around to make sure to be alone before getting something out of my [inventory].

I looked at the feather and I saw a message.

"Yes."

The feather began glowing and it disappeared, I could feel the pressure in the surrounding increasing so as the temperature.

[Why hello there, Vessel of the previous 'Judge']

I couldn't speak because of the pressure she's emitting.

[Oh sorry about that]

The pressure suddenly decreased.

"Hello there Uriel, I have a request."

[Oh, is it about the premonition you've been seeing for the past 2 weeks..]

"Yes it is."

Uriel giggled and said jokingly.

She looked at me before sighing.

[I see, but you could've used the feather by then]

Uriel made a valid point, but in those 2 weeks of me suffering in my dreams I don't know why I didn't used the Judge's scale, but now I know the cuffs they put on me was to prevent me from using skills and magic.

"They were using cuffs that can block me from using skills."

She looked at me shocked, and said with a serious tone.

[I will help, but there's a condition]

I didn't hesitate to answer her, I need her help badly if not then my plan will just go to waste.

Uriel smirked and started ascending back to where she came from, sometimes I wonder if the land of the <gods> and mortals were split.

[Oh I almost forgot, Barachiel is a huge fan of yours]

Then she disappeared along with the message.

[The <gods> are wondering on what did 'Judge of Fire' do?]

I turned back not answering their problems and went straight to bed. The skill [Foresight] didn't activate this time, and this is my first time sleeping peacefully in another world.

Hikaru standing in front of a tall tower that pierces the sky, complained.

[Oh come on this is unfair, now I have to renew the conditions between me and my Vessel]

Arthur arrived and said.

[Oh stop complaining, and it looks like we're here]

Arthur looked at the tower and smirked.

[So this time we're gonna raid the tower of the old 'sage' huh]

Hikaru looked at the tower and said.

[Yeah but looks like we have company]

Hundreds of golems began emerging and started attacking them. Arthur smirked and said.

[heh even dead, his magic still lurks for thousands of years]

[Well that's Komatsu for you]

The 2 of them began to destroy the golem and made their way inside the tower.
