2 Chapter 1: A New Beginning (part 1)
As I opened my eyes. I was lying flat on a white floor, and Midori was standing right next to me.
Midori helped me get up, and I started looking around. We're inside a completely white room except for the people inside, that is.
Some students began questioning where they were. While some started panicking and then the teacher went in front of all of us, then said.
"Everyone calm down. Nothing good will happen if we all start panicking."
Some students listened to the teacher. The students who calmed down started helping the others. The most notable was the class president. Yuki Arakan has brown hair and obsidian black eyes. He's said to be the perfect man you can ask for. Perfect grades, the best in sports. He's even part of a national team in. kendo, he's also very rich.
As I was deep in thought, a sudden flash of light enveloped the entire room. And a faceless man in dark clothing appeared.
[Hello <heroes >, please stay calm. All of you are aware that this isn't your world, right?]
The students who thought this was staged started asking where the cameras are, while some are calling it bullshit.
"Quiet all of you!"
A voice rang out through the room. It was from a young woman with chestnut brown hair and the same obsidian black eyes as Yuki's; she was the vice president of the class, the ace of the archery club, the rival of Yuki in grades, and the most beautiful woman in school. Chieko Arakan, his twin sister. Both of them are at the top of the class, both in grades and looks. They were also the most voted among students, for the most attractive female and male throughout the entire school.
"Well, if it isn't our world, then where are we? Who are you? And why are we brought to this place?"
The vice president has spoken well. I too want to know the reasons, but my classmates should speak for themselves. Suddenly, a bombardment of questions came raining down on the faceless man.
[I shall answer your questions. We are currently in the tutorial room. I'm what you call a guide to help you through the tutorial phase. And you are here to become <heroes > to save the world Terra from various disasters. Well, did I satisfy all your questions? Hmm?.]
Everyone was speechless about what they've heard becoming <heroes > and <tutorial > phase. Suddenly a holographic screen appeared with texts, the same holographic screen that I saw minutes ago.

[Okay, now everyone looks at your dominant hand. There'll be a tattoo-like engraving on your hand. They're called insignias. Press it and you should see your statuses.]
I looked on top of my right hand and saw a sword and a balancing scale overlapping with each other. There are two wings on both sides. The left-wing was black while the right-wing was white. Then, after observing the insignia, I pressed it. Another holographic screen showed up.

My classmates started getting excited about their skills. Some are already using them, one of them has flames erupting from his hands. And one has their skin turn into stone. So of course I joined in as well.
[The skill 'Eyes of Heaven' lvl 1 have been activated]
My eyes started glowing, although very faint> I was seeing holographic screens in front of my classmates. I can see their traits, skills, and stats. It baffled me to see their stats.
The class president's stats are all 20 and up. I mean, he's perfect and all, so that makes sense. Even the vice prez stats are all 20 above. I looked at Midori, who was still reading her stats. Hers was higher than mine, though only by a little. Then I noticed something. My classmates all have two traits, some even more. All of them have the <Hero > trait, then they all have a similar skill called [Hero's blessing]. Well, the description says that all their stats and Exp gains are doubled! I started searching again and then I spotted a short girl with black bob-cut hair and green eyes. She was looking at me, and somehow my [Eyes of Heaven] skill isn't working on her. I can only see her name and trait.
Her name is Zei Komatsu, my second friend. Midori and Zei are my only friends, and her trait is [Ancient Sage of Destruction] of course, she also has a hero trait. Suddenly, the guide spoke.
[Are you both done checking everyone out? Oh, <Judge of Light and Darkness>, and <Ancient Sage of Destruction>. If so, then I want you all to form a part of at least three.]
I grabbed Midori's hand and started walking towards Zei and she spoke.
"Ohoh, you're approaching me?" She pressed the bridge of her glasses, and then her lenses shone.
"Of course, I'm coming towards you. How else can I invite you to our party without coming over there?" I started walking faster.
"Oh, then come as close as you like," Zei replied with a smug look on her face.
Midori was looking at me, confused why aren't going towards the class president to form a party,
"So what's your trait?" I asked, even though I already know her trait.
"Ah, my trait is [Queen of Blades] and [Hero]. How about you Akamine-san?"
"Ah, mine is [Assassin] and also [Hero]." I lied, though I don't know why. But it feels like my trait [Judge of Light and Darkness] is too important.
We arrived at where Zei was and Midori asked her for her name. Even though we're classmates, Midori does not know her because Zei does not interact much in class and mostly spends her time in the library.
"Hey, Ms. What's your name?" Midori asked Zei, though I think this did not impress Zei.
"My name is Zei... Zei Komatsu and I want to join your party." Zei answered, but she's disappointed. Zei answered her almost in a monotone voice.
"Hello, Komatsu-san. My name is Midori Lionheart, and this is." She nudges me.
"*sigh* my name is Rai Akamine. Nice to meet you Komatsu-san." I extended my hand out for a handshake and she reached out as well. Apparently, Midori does not know of her existence.
"Will you join our party Komatsu-san?"
"Sure thing oh [Assassin]."
I got slightly irritated cause of her sarcastic tone, then Midori asked Zei.
"What's your trait Komatsu-san."
"Ah, my trait is [Sage] and [Hero]." Zei also lied, kind of she's a [Sage of Destruction], and not just any ordinary [Sage].
"What a coincidence. You also have a hero trait?" I said, quite jealous of them.
I sighed and then said,
"Well, looks like everyone else got the hero trait." After saying that, I pointed at the crowd. They're all noisy revealing their traits like that.
And also they're reviling their stats, revealing information like that is a suicide, you're telling them what you're weak at.
And it looks like the Yuki and Chieko partied with each other and the whole class was with them, even the teacher. Only leaving us 3. Well, the bullies only partied with them so they could ride the bus-.
"Hey, Midori-chi, why don't you come to join our party? Most of your friends are there as well."
I was cut from my train of thought. When Chieko suddenly dashed here at inhumane speeds. I stepped up and replied instead of Midori.
"Sorry Chieko-san, but Midori is already a part of "my" party, so you need to ask me not her." Chieko flinched a little. She smiled at me, then she asked.
"Well, do you want to join my party, Akamine-san?" She grabbed my arm.
"Sorry, but the answer is no." I yanked her off and shot her a glare.
She looked at me in a confused manner before bursting out into laughter.
"Okay then. That's your choice, so good luck!"
She then went back to her party. So that's the power of her trait [Huntress of the Moonlight] if that's her in the daytime, then I can't imagine her in the nighttime. Midori looked at me confused why I didn't accept Chieko's offer and then turned to Zei, wondering why she didn't cut in.
"I know what're you gonna ask Midori, I didn't accept it because if you look at the size of their party. If they were to split the money, who'll get the most and the least. If you divide the rewards for most monsters killed or by effort, then it'll be chaos, think about what'll happen to the ones with the least effort in the party, even though they're doing the best that they can, also I believe we share Exp, so the larger it is the thinner the Exp some gets."
Midori can't think of anything and just accepted her defeat. And then a screen appeared in front of all of us.
[Congratulations upon, Completing the "Tutorial Phase 1/2. " Rewards will be distributed.]
Suddenly, a beam of light appeared right in front of my face. I held out both of my hands and then the beam of light disappeared. I checked what it gave me. It was a pair of leather bracers, a pair of leather greaves, a chain mail shirt, and a weighing scale with black and white wings engraved onto the center.
I wore the equipment, and I wore the chain mail underneath my uniform. I checked the description of the weighing scale.

When shown, Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and other races that have basic intelligence. They will tremble in fear or prostrate themselves. Some may run away from you out of fear. But it won't work against beings who have higher stats than you.

I put it inside my inventory for later uses,
Zei went up to me. She now wears a wizard hat, and robe embroidered with gold and silver, but the overall color is dark purple. Her weapon is a staff, and it's the same size as her. I used me [Eye of Heaven] on her equipment and it's all B rank items, but the staff was legendary rank.
"So, what did you get, Akamine-Kun?"
"Like what you see, this is the only defensive gear. Well, I think why they didn't give me a weapon, it's because I already have a weapon."
I grabbed my shinai bag and showed it proudly to Zei and she began laughing and saying in a sarcastic tone,
"That's only a kendo stick though."
I got irritated because she was right, then Midori went up to me. She is wearing light armor. She has a studded leather breastplate. Other than that, she basically has the same equipment as me. Instead, she has a Katana which is SS rank.
"So Akamine-san, what's gonna be your weapon...? wait don't tell me it's gonna be that kendo stick?"
I nodded and opened the shinai bag and it revealed a katana with the sheathe on. I took it out and checked out the rank.

It shocked Zei when she saw the description. Before she could ask where I got it the guide spoke.

a beam of light began enveloping our bodies, and it transported us to another space.
