22 Chapter 19: talking with Hansu Seong and Johan Seong's Rage

Author's Note: Yes, I'm still alive and no, I haven't finished my internships (yes, it wasn't one but two) and soon I'll start training again (the boxe 🥊 ) so yes, I'll have difficulty releasing a chapter every day but I'll do my best.

I just don't want to abandon this fanfic since it's my second fanfic and I want to conclude this story (even if this story was born out of a whim).

===============================

POV of Hansu Seong.

"So Hanju, can you explain to me why my friend is calling me to inform me that I've trained a murderer?" I asked as calmly as possible, trying to contain my anger.

"I have good reasons for doing it," Hanju replied, glancing at Kim before looking me straight in the eye.

I could tell he wasn't lying by his body language or tone of voice, but murder is not a simple thing.

Especially since he is currently my student, I don't want him to take a path that he will later regret just because of passing immaturity.

"So there's a good reason to kill at your age?" Kim asked behind me.

Although I couldn't see his face, the tone of his voice was clearly annoyed, I can understand it, hanju has the same age that Minji his daughter.

"Go on, explain to me," I urged him to tell me more, of course I signaled Kim to calm down.

It would be regrettable if I lost such a promising student because of a possible misunderstanding.

After Hanju took a sip of tea, he proceeded to explain the whole story of last night's events between him and Gangbuk North High School.

Frankly, I don't know how to react to the information given by Hanju.

"I'll have to verify if your claims are accurate but in the meantime, you'll still have to be punished," I said, fixing my gaze on him.

He seemed unfazed but I could tell he seemed nervous.

"I... I understand," Hanju replied slightly hesitant.

I can see that Hanju wants to say more but he hesitates.

It's a bit disappointing since he's not opening up completely to me yet but it reminds me of that idiot son of mine.

"Well, now go get changed, it's time for you to really feel the approach of death," I declared calmly, taking my last cup of tea of the day to try to relax.

"You're too soft on him, he did take a life," Kim expressed, giving me a disapproving look.

"I know but Hanju isn't a murderer, he's not a psychopath at least," I replied assuredly.

"Uh... You did hear him right? The man named Yun Cho seems to be someone who used an unknown substance to manipulate and control people," I said gravely, looking at Kim who seemed to remember his past.

"If indeed Yun Cho was manipulating his group, then Hanju was right to eliminate those kinds of people," Kim expressed, releasing an aura of pure anger.

"Before the young man comes back, I dis hear that you also had a little protégé. Can you tell me more?" I asked out of sheer curiosity.

...

Author's POV (at Tom Lee's)

"My... head..."

Johan woke up with a massive headache and some bandages.

"Where am I?" he asked no one in particular, it was more a reflex question due to his unknown situation.

"You're finally awake and very pretty underwear," a voice resonated beside Johan.

"Mr. Tom Lee but... But what happened?..." Johan asked completely lost.

"Oh! You don't remember?" Tom Lee interrogated with a mocking smile, looking at the young man on the infirmary bed of his agency.

"No... I... the bastard where's my opponent," Johan suddenly asked, grabbing Tom Lee by his jacket.

"Calm down kid, Hanju has currently left and for now I advise you to recover," Tom Lee clearly explained, taking a sip of alcohol from his personal flask.

After those words, there was an eerie silence in the room, the only sound being the grinding of Johan's teeth.

"First it was Gun, then the other guy with glasses, now this Hanju," Johan thought with rage.

"It seems this genius didn't take his defeat well," Tom Lee thought, heading towards the infirmary exit.

"I hope this defeat pushes you to improve even more kid," he said, turning his back on their most promising element.

"Do you think the kid will get back up after that?" Yeongcheol Kim asked, looking towards the door as sounds of destruction resonated from inside.

"Don't worry, his defeat is a good thing in the end," Tom Lee said with a wide smile on his lips.

"Ah! Good?" Yeongcheol Kim said in a perplexed tone.

"Yes, because geniuses like Johan Seong tend to rely too much on their talent and neglect the pursuit of power, but now things will be different," Tom Lee explained.

"Since Johan didn't lose against an older monster than him but against an individual of his generation, moreover this individual is from the district he dominated and looked down upon."

"I don't know about you but I can't wait to see how far he'll be able to go thanks to this rage and personal dissatisfaction that's currently gnawing at him, hahaha!"

Tom Lee couldn't help but burst out laughing with joy at the current situation within the "White Tiger Job Center".

"Aren't you worried about Hanju? His relationship with Johan is tense, right?" Yeongcheol Kim asked, slightly frowning.

"Speaking of him, this kid surprised me," Tom Lee said in a rarely serious tone.

"Throughout his fight with Johan, it seems he didn't give it his all and on top of that..."

At Tom Lee's words, Yeongcheol Kim was doubtful.

He knows how strong Johan is, in his mind Johan was the strongest of his generation so learning that the newcomer is possibly stronger is a surprise to him.

"I would really like to keep him within the agency but unfortunately he's not really the type to work for others," Tom Lee sighed in disappointment.

"I should perhaps pay a visit to Eli Jang, the kid has accumulated a tremendous delay compared to the people of his generation," Tom Lee thought.

Author's POV (Gangbuk East)

"It's official, Hanju was able to beat Johan," Jeongdu Ma explained, nicknamed by many as "Great Mountain".

"Stop lying, that idiot Hanju can't beat that monster," Jaeha Han expressed with difficulty.

"You don't need to believe me, you lost so you have to submit to the rules," Jeongdu said, putting himself at the same level as Jaeha to better look him in the eye.

"You leave the Gangbuk district or you join us," Jeongdu explained in an emotionless voice.

"You're talking about a shitty proposition, but okay I'm with you," Jaeha replied reluctantly.

"Excellent choice, here's an errand you must carry out and return in a month. Your friend Seok Kang has already left to carry out his," Jeongdu threw a paper at Jaeha before leaving.

"The address of a taekwondo club? Who does Hanju think I am," Jaeha thought, gritting his teeth but containing himself as he put the letter away.

"He could have invited me to join his crew peacefully or personally, I wouldn't have refused given the difference in strength but why did he have to send Jeongdu?"

Jaeha couldn't help but curse his luck as he looked at his unconscious friends on the ground.
