His woman

"WHAT THE HELL!"

Aldrin halted, his body freezing from head to toe. With his back turned to Eisha, he had no idea what the woman had seen of the vampire.

His heart hammered in his chest ready to jump out and race away from the scene. Fear ran down his spine. He was lost on what to do.

His mother remained standing in front of him with the two women starting with shock passed him. Aldrin had never been so helpless in his life.

On one hand, he wanted to turn around and see what they were looking at. On the other hand, he was scared of what he would see if he were to turn around and face Eisha.

The sound of approaching footsteps from behind him was the only sound audible in the room. He gulped.

"I was wondering the same thing," Eisha uttered.

Hearing her voice, Aldrin's body remembered how to function. He cleared his throat to get back his composure and turned around to gaze at Eisha.

The girl stood there looking as beautiful as ever. He let out a sigh of relief. "Love, who the hell are these people?" She asked wrapping her arms around his stomach and laying her head on his shoulder.

The three women stared at her stunned. Aldrin's character was no news to them, everyone in the world knew the man was allergic to women. He preferred to stay far away from them, avoiding them like a plague.

It surprised them to see a woman that dared to touch him and remain standing. Aldrin hadn't reacted to her action. They held their breath to hear him give her a harsh remark for touching him.

Aldrin's mother was shocked. She was a famous figure everyone knew who she was. She wasn't sure if the girl was feigning ignorance or if she simply didn't know who she was.

To their, astonishment Aldrin placed his hands on top of hers and looked ahead at the uninvited guests. "She is my mother, Mrs. Sara Marivaldi, baby," Aldrin introduced the woman before him.

Eisha flashed Aldrin's mother the sweetest smile she could muster. The smile made her stomach turn. Being sweet wasn't her cup of tea and trying was proving harder than she thought. Especially with the new powers that were manifesting in her.

She realized the images she was seeing approaching were Aldrin's mother and the two women behind her. She was confused as to how she could see a glimpse of something that was yet to come to pass.

It was an ability she didn't know vampires possessed. That and the intense urge to shift forms, all the bones in her body ached with the need to shape shift and fly away from there.

"It's nice to meet you, ma'am," she said, stepping up from behind Aldrin she reached her hand out to Sara.

Mrs. Marivaldi stared at her hand. She ignored the intent behind it and watched the girl from head to toe, talking in the simple dress she was wearing. Her eyebrows furrowed.

"Who is this Aldrin?" She went ahead to question her son ignoring Eisha's presence.

Eisha's darkened. Disrespect was one of the things she despised the most in humans, them looking down on her like she was irrelevant always had a way of making her tick.

"His woman," she uttered blocking Mrs. Marivaldi's vision of Aldrin. The woman was lucky that she gave birth to the only man to ever catch her eye or that would have been her last day alive.

Eisha gritted her teeth keeping her killing urges in check. Her reply echoed in the room bewildering everyone in the room, including Aldrin.

The woman seemed t find new ways to mark him for herself every time someone asked her a question regarding them.

"What nonsense?" Mrs. Marivaldi raised a question in disbelief. His son didn't have a woman by his side. That is why she took it upon herself to find someone worthy of him.

"That's can't be?"

The absolutely beautiful, glamorous lady standing behind her spoke up in shock. She stepped forward making a move for the first time since walking into the room.

She sauntered close to Aldrin and linked her arm possessively around his hand. Removing the expensive glasses that partly covered her face, she glared at Eisha.

"Aldrin is mine," she uttered confidently.

Eisha's blood boiled. Her heart burnt with untold rage. Seeing her hold him, she lost it. Eisha narrowed her eyes at the woman and scanned her. The woman's dress screamed, 'I paid a lot of fortune for this.'

She had always hated such entitled brats. They were her least favorite meal. Their blood tastes funny in her mouth and she hated the feeling of having to breathe the same oxygen as them.

"Yes, she is my son's woman," Mrs. Marivaldi added to the girl's claim. "You can take a good look and see the type that is best deserving of my son," she let out.

Elisha shot her gaze at Sara. Her eyes were bloodshot from her comment. Every ounce of blood in Eisha's body was pushing at her to reap the woman to shreds and mop the floor with her blood.

But she held back, she was a predator and the prey was busy picking on her. She wasn't sure if they were simply dumb or stupid.

Aldrin held her hand behind her back. He gave it a gentle squeeze as if asking her to remain calm. The girl noticed his move and frowned. She was promised the famous Aldrin Marivaldi and she wasn't leaving without him.

It didn't matter how many women she had to get rid of from his side. She vowed to make him hers at all cost. After seeing the ghost in person, she didn't see anyone else that was worthy of her.

The ex-actor was her favorite while he was in the movie industry. But one he just disappeared without a reason and vanished. Rumors spread that he had an accident that ruined his face and body and that was the reason he disappeared from the spotlight.

She saw him again and he looked even better than he did back then. People aged with years and lost their glow but he glimmered more than ever.

No one in their circle could ever match his status and his looks. He was the best of the best and she wanted him for herself.

She stepped between Aldrin and Eisha and forced him to let her hand go. 'Get used to this Aldrin, soon you'll have no choice but to let go forever,' she thought.
