6 Vacation

This afternoon the galaxy station is still busy. The station is open twenty-eight hours. Not twenty-four hours because we are in Ephora not on Earth. Activity never stops. Planes that come and go also take turns. Only those who are skilled are working in the main building of the galaxy. Because that is the heart of the Galactic Station of Efora. Especially at the very top of the building. Those who control the smooth traffic of the spacecraft. One bit, there could be a collision and schedule clashes. They work shifts. In one day there are three shifts. However, the cleaning office only works one shift.

Why? As Guldi said, the inhabitants of this planet are really neat. So even if you leave it all night, garbage doesn't pile up. However, the station master uses a cleaning robot that is operated automatically at night. This is to anticipate if something happens. For example, there is a trash can that is accidentally knocked over to the floor and spills its contents. Then an automatic robot that is like a toy car and the size of a small table will take care of it. This robot is equipped with a sensor if there is trash in front, the bottom will suck it into the shelter above. If the trash is large like a drink bottle, his hands will automatically hook up and put it in the trash can.

It has been six days since Darma worked from morning to evening. The first three days he is often tired because the time of day here is rather long, plus his gravitational force is stronger than that of Earth. But the next three days he got used to it. Of course the little trees as well as the bushes were shining. Darma just realized that in Efora the sun is not as bright as on Earth. The light is dim so the trees will glow to their full potential. Along the way he saw the inhabitants of the planet Efora doing many activities looking for entertainment on this holiday.

Darma was amazed when he saw a small family having a picnic under a tree. Their young son plucked a yellow flower that had not yet bloomed in an oval shape. When the child raises the flower to the top, it suddenly pops and produces yellow smoke too. The parents cheered and hugged the little boy. How interesting. And Darma also knows the fact that the flower does not dim or die when it is picked.

"All the light trees will die if it has been five minutes since they have been plucked or felled," said Guldi when Darma asked this strange question.

They arrived at a small town. The buildings are not tall. The highest is only five floors. It's also a shopping mall. And on the wall, there is a giant monitor that is broadcasting local broadcasts. There are many creatures on foot here. Darma again saw the dwarf being like a frog. They are a couple holding hands and speaking their language. So Darma doesn't know what they are talking about.

Darma and Guldi walked on the sidewalk. They looked around because there were so many shops lined up along the street. The shop here sells all kinds of goods and services. The shop they just passed by for example. This shop sells typical Efora clothes. Next door is selling fruit, the other side is up to the end of the park, selling accessories, children's toys, to repairing electronic equipment. Everything is complete.

When they reached the park, which was only a stretch of white land decorated with park benches, a playground, and a fountain, they looked for a seat. Darma wondered why there were so many people in this park. Almost packed. Until someone sits on the ground. According to Guldi, they will watch an international broadcast. Where will be held the annual celebration by King Ephora.

Not long after, local live broadcasts turned into international broadcasts. Everyone in the park paused from activity and all eyes were fixed on one large monitor in the shopping center building. And of course Darma could only watch without understanding the anchor of the news. Because they use the Ephorian language.

The news anchor called a reporter. Then the reporter explained something. The impression then changes to a camera flown above. The broadcast shows a very big celebration. Decorated with colorful LED lights. Also of course the light from the plants. Everyone present was wearing their best costumes. The light is really beautiful. All of these creatures in Ephora are very good at combining the color of the lamp to match the color of the light from the plants. Their costumes are lit at every end of the clothes such as collars, sleeves, pants, glasses, and shoes. Everything is sparkling with beautiful colors.

The camera then shines on a magnificent palace that is no less sparkling. The edges of the walls also glow. Darma notices that this palace is reddish in color. Very majestic and beautiful. Perhaps if he had lived in a time three hundred years ago when photo technology did not exist, he would have had a very difficult time describing the beauty of this palace in letter writing. The palace garden is also very wide. In the middle there is a fountain whose water glows in colors due to the effect of the lights. In the palace garden, there were also many important people in the government. The grass they stepped on, glowed with colors when they stepped on them.

Darma then whispered to Guldi exactly where the royal palace of Efora was located. Guldi thought for a moment. He then remembered that the royal palace was located on the other side of the planet. That is why this live broadcast is late at night because it is broadcast in a part where it is already nighttime.

A moment later, the reporter reported something in a hurry. A second later the camera moved to highlight a large balcony decorated with beautiful plants. The double doors opened slowly. Then the ruler of the planet Ephora came out, who was muscular, accompanied by his wife, who was only shoulder height. King Ephora had reddish hair, a stocky build, and wore a white, light green robe that was filled with colored light on every end. The rest are like the rest of the planet Ephorians.

Meanwhile, his wife, a graceful woman with light orange hair up to her waist and a sparkling white dress with colorful lights on each end of her dress. They walked slowly until they got to the front of the balcony right on a pulpit. There was a loudspeaker and a speech note.

An adjutant, whose clothes were all white, which glowed only at the hem of his sleeve, checked to see if the loudspeaker was working. After making sure it was functioning, he invited the king.

Whether present at the palace or watching the replay in the garden, they stood up and placed their right palms on their left chest and bowed. Darma was confused. Does he also have to respect. But according to Guldi it was not necessary.

After the salute finished, they sat back down. King Ephora began his speech. And of course Darma didn't understand what the king was saying at all. But Guldi understood even a little. In essence, the king said that the economy of the planet Efora was getting better. All of its citizens are prosperous. Poverty has been eradicated. Suddenly all the people of Ephorah cheered and the king's name echoed through the cheers.

"Eldur! Eldur! Eldur! Eldur!" their cheers that might be if the military aircraft patrolling outer space, will be heard their cheers and echoes.
