18 Flashback

Captain Erdo told Yora to get on the plane and have a look. With mixed feelings Yora went inside to see the deck and of course the cockpit. She sits on the cockpit seat with his hands on the steering wheel. Her mind then went blank as his eyes stared at Ramna, Darma, and Captain Erdo behind the cockpit glass. She remembered the incident when his parents were killed.

At that time she was about six years old. There was a rumor that there was a conflict between President Barath and the Captain of the Red Alliance's First Division over sharing the profits from the resources. Captain Adam refused. Because there was no agreement, President Barath was urged by politicians to expel the Red Alliance from Barath. The President refused. However, the politicians formed an army of sorts and attacked the Red Alliance troops without being noticed by the President. There was conflict turmoil. Captain Adam feels this is mutiny. So he came with his aircraft carrier and deployed all his troops to eradicate the rebels. However, the conflict heats up. So that Captain Adam ordered the earth to scorch the planet Barath.

The order was received and all the Red Alliance troops slaughtered all of Barath's inhabitants. Casualties fell. Floods of blood everywhere. One of the victims was Yora's parents. This little family had time to hide in a secret basement located on the corner floor of the cooking room. Yora's father opened the cover of the hole and told Yora and her mother to come down first. But his father, who was about to get off, he had to go back to the room to get a weapon.

"Dad, hurry in!" shouted Yora.

"Dad has to go to the room to get a gun. Daddy will come back," said her father.

Yora's father left. Yora and her mother only looked up the hole from below. Not long after, the sound of footsteps was heard. They give thanks. But apparently it wasn't his father who came. It was someone from Earth wearing the Red Alliance uniform. He is about thirty-five years old. Wearing a cowboy hat, beard and mustache. He crouched down and smiled broadly as he wiped his bloodstained sword.

Yora trembled. Her mother hugged her and tried to keep Yora from seeing the blood.

"It seems I have killed the head of the family in this house," said the man calmly.

The man jumped down and walked slowly closer. Yora and her mother retreated until they could no longer move back because they had reached the end of the wall. They sit scared. Yora was still being hugged by her mother tightly.

"Please don't hurt us," pleaded his mother.

The man laughed.

"Oh mother. I'm a good boy," replied the man as he drew closer.

Suddenly, Yora's mother's hand was grabbed by the man. Yora and her mother separated which made Yora scream for her mother. The man held his mother tightly with a sharp gaze. Then, his mother's hand felt around the wall and the man stabbed Yora's mother with his sword until it pierced her body to the wall. Yora screamed very loudly as her tears flowed. Her mother is dying. She looked at Yora and said a sentence without a sound. Yora immediately understood from her mother's lips that she had to run. With her remaining strength, her mother was again feeling the wall and this time her hand stopped and she pushed some kind of button. Suddenly the floor Yora was sitting on opened up and she was slammed into it. The man ran to grab Yora but couldn't and the floor closed again.

Yora falls and ends up in a room where there is an oval capsule shaped like a medicine capsule. She was still crying screaming for her father and mother while her head looked up. Her soul was shaken very much. In fact, he had wanted to commit suicide by taking the knife in the room. However, he threw it and cried again sitting in the corner of the room. After a while he calmed down. She thought of a way to get out. The Baraths run fast indeed. But it seemed impossible for him to get out and run as hard as she could. It's tantamount to suicide. After all, she was already in a safe place.

After thinking, it would be better if she waited a few days after the conflict had subsided. Her initial intention was to wait a few days, in fact he waited a week or more. Because he had doubts. But now the doubts are gone. The situation is terrible. She didn't eat at all. Appetite just disappears for one week. Even he did not realize that he was starving. Yora walked unsteadily and got into the capsule. She was confused how to turn it on. But after she opened one of the drawers in the cockpit, she found some sort of manual. Yora read it. And when she understood, he sat in the cockpit, put on his seat belt, and started starting the engine according to the instructions in the manual.

The engine starts together with the opening of the wall in front of the capsule to form a hallway. The capsule then slowly advanced. But over time, it got faster and faster. Yora was scared because this was the first time she had boarded a capsule at such an incredible speed. As the capsule reached its maximum speed, the passage led upwards and Yora saw a light.

The capsule emerges from the ground. As the capsule flew in the sky, Yora looked through the glass of the cockpit and witnessed the horror. Everything was destroyed. The buildings were destroyed, there was a lot of thick smoke rising, there was no sign of life. But she was sure that someone had survived and had run away.

After passing through the atmosphere and being in space, the capsule stops and the monitor screen displays a text that intends to ask the pilot where the next destination is. Yora shuffled randomly then chose a planet who knows what it's called. Then she activated auto pilot and the capsule traveled at the speed of light.

As long as it was at the speed of light, Yora was inside the capsule doing nothing. She just cried and cried. Until the capsule stops suddenly. After checking, apparently the fuel had run out. Yora was confused. Finally she realized that this was the end of his life. She had given up on lying on the deck floor which was not too wide. Her eyes were closed. Several hours later, she felt that the capsule was running. She woke up and saw from the cockpit glass. The capsule was pulled in by a large plane. After that, she was evacuated and given food and drink. Yora then asked who they were. One of them replied that they were the Freedom Alliance.

Yora's reverie that was spinning the flashbacks of her past faded when Ramna and Darma tapped her on the shoulder.

"Are you okay. Yora? " asked Darma.

"We see you from outside just daydreaming," said Ramna as she sat on the pilot bench to the left of Yora.

"I just remembered something," Yora smiled back.

"What is that?" Darma is curious.

"It is nothing. We better watch this plane. "

Ramna looks at the monitor screen. He then said, "The captain said that this is the BTX 3200 which is the latest version of the 3000 series."

Darma sat in the back seat of the pilot. This was the first time he sat in the pilot bench.

"Darma, can you pilot the plane?" asked Ramna, looking back.

"Never before," replied Darma, shaking his head.

"Then, I will teach you to pilot this plane," said Yora.

Captain Erdo, who was looking at them outside, wondered what they were talking about. He only saw three people talking seriously in the cockpit. But whatever it is, it looks like the three of them fit together as a team.
