Chapter I

Rain fell heavily everywhere. The weather turned cold and wet making everyone stayed home avoiding the weather and the chill. However, this was not the case for one particular individual.

A few miles away lay a man surrounded in his own pool of blood. This person was none other than our protagonist, Soleil Song-Royale.

He was the adopted child of the Randall family. He had grown up in pain, abuse and hell. The family never let him off for anything. Any bad news or misfortune which befell on them, they would automatically blame him for it. He was not spared at all in any way.

As he lay down there, he began to look back at the memories of his life over the years. He thought of the pain, blood, sweat and tears that he shed in order to please them every single time. It was all for naught. Tears slipped out of his eyes as he recalled all the things he did. He put all his efforts into getting the top seat of the 1st university in the country. The thought of proving himself to be useful and worthy of love from the Randalls was shattered when his adopted brother had snatched his results and paraded it around as his.

He regretted ever seeking for their love as they never threw a glance his way. He looked up at the cloudy sky with rain falling down. He could feel his life ebb away. He knew that his death would be celebrated by them.

"God, please hear my requests. I don't want to die. I want to live in order to find my biological parents. I want to live for myself and only be able to do what I love. I want the Randalls to suffer for they did to me. Please let me live."

Tears streamed down his face as he prayed for hope and a chance to live. He was not ready to die. The rain suddenly stopped and the sun came out. Feeling the warmth on his face, he smiled one last time. As his eyes closed, he heard a voice "Sleep, dear True Child. When you wake up, all will be right". With that he dozed off into a deep slumber full of warmth.

Unbeknownst to him, 4 figures were around him. They were ethereal and mysterious. One them knelt down and gently gathered Soleil in his arms. "Those who harmed our True Children here and there will not be spared" said the one holding on to Soorya.

The one next to him spoke up "Indeed, Neró. We shall make them pay with their blood". "Now, don't be hasty. We have to ensure that both the souls will be able to become one." said the one next to Neró. "Ásma, we have to avenge for their murders. Besides, they are the same soul. There is no doubt that the souls will definitely become one". Neró rebuked. Before tempers were provoked, the last person clapped his hands, effectively gaining their attention. "Ásma and Neró are both right however, this is not the place and time. Pórta, please open the gate. We need to transfer his soul into the dimension and get started on the process". "As you command Chrónos." Pórta complied and stretched his hand out.

An ornate door appeared in front of them. Pórta pushed it open. Neró walked in holding Soleil in his arms. The others followed him and the doors shut close. It shimmered away into the wind thus proving that nothing happened at all.

Neró put Soleil gently on the bed. Ásma began to heal the wounds and bandage them. Pórta changed his clothes to a loose gown. Chrónos moved the curtain between the two beds and an identical figure of Soleil appeared on the other side.

Chrónos looked at them both with sadness in his eyes. Neró put his hand on Chrónos' shoulder and squeezed it gently. Chrónos took a deep breath and finally spoke.

"Now we wait for them.to wake up and talk to each other. Whatever they decide, we shall follow them". The rest nodded and began to get comfortable. It was going to be a long wait for the boys to gain consciousness.

Meanwhile, back in the other side his body was found by strangers and the case against the Randalls was filed shocking all of the upper crust society. A funeral was organized where three men came laid blue forget me nots and hydrangeas. It was a promise that they would never forget him.

"May your soul rest in peace forever, dearest heart." they whispered and left not seeing the the spirit of the dead Soleil smiling at them and vanished to continue his adventure.
