"Hmmm mom?" He said his mom looked over to him smiling "hey lucky it's your birthday soon aren't you excited." His mother said lucky had still been tired he had been up all night playing his early birthday present he nodded smiling "yeah I'm excited but mum I'm tired so can I go back to bed?" Lucky said she smiled nodding she closed the door lucky quickly fell asleep.
A bright light singed him his skin he opened his eyes and noticed he wasn't in his room none of his items were there he tried to talk but nothings happened but he had felt weightless as if he had the power of flight he looked up and saw something yellow stars he looked around him everywhere he had looked were full of stars they had begun to make a strange noise growing brighter by each tune lucky felt as if he could touch them he reached his hand surprised that he began to move as fast as a space jumper the next thing that happened he was in front of the very star he tried to feel it glisten has lucky got closer he stopped in his tracks when he was in front of it he could feel his body absorbing the heat.
He looked at it shocked as the ways of heat came closer and closer when it had seemed the heat was about to touch him it stopped and retreated back into the sun he had Heard, whispers as if the sun was trying to speak moment later the sun whispers became louder and louder until lucky could hear it "he's of two kinds." The burning sun said lucky looked at it confused he heard a second load whisper he looked on back of him it was a sun made of ice it darkened when it came closer to lucky "he is of our kind the ice stargaze!" The ice sun yelled the fiery sun whispered became even louder "No he is our fire stargaze he is our Phoenix!" It said.
Lucky immediately woke up he could smell a sulfur smell and taste a cold taste looked down and saw his bedsheets were burned and frozen over Lucky shook his head "this has too explainable right I know my dad was a Vrod he could have unexplainable powers maybe I have powers to that has to be it's the only explainable answer..... what ever it is mum can't find out if she does she'll become worried." Said lucky he got up and took his burned and frozen sheets he looked around his room trying to find a way he could dispose of the sheets he looked at the posters all around his room he immediately shifted his view to the digital board and smiled "only 2 more years then I can become a space adventurer I can't wait me and my friends already thought of a group name." Lucky said.
He sighed realizing he would have to dispose of the sheets outside he walked towards his window and opened it he looked both ways and climbed out onto the fire rails he smelt the metallic air of the moon it had tasted like a bit of iron he sighed he ran off down the iron stair making sure he was silent he was inches away from the trash he felt something he started to trembled something cold was inches behind him he couldn't move everything soon faded into black "w-what is this who is behind me?" Said lucky he felt a hand on his shoulder "soon you will have to choose if you don't choose our powers will kill you I hope you choose the right power." It had said lucky froze he looked behind him and saw the no malevolent, creature behind him it hard been a blue ice filled creature.
Lucky looked at his shoulder which had started to freeze the frost started to move immediately after a bright red light appeared lucky looked towards it his face worried he trembled another shoulder was placed on him this time the ice disappeared both hands were lifted "you!" "We had a deal no one touches him until he decides!" The fire said the ice nodded "fine." It said immediately lucky awoken he looked around him realizing he was in his house now on his bed his mum was next to him she has a worried face.
"Mum what happened?" Lucky said his mom hugged him scared "lucky you sleep walked outside I got worried when I noticed it was a bit colder." Said his mum lucky looked at her he shook his head "Mum why don't we visit dads home planet?" He said his mum froze she looked around worried lucky looked at her face noticing she was going to make a excuse she looked down and sighed "I guess it may be time you knew...." his mum said.
lucky looked at her confused "your dads home planet was... destroyed during the war no one made it out except your dad." His mum said lucky looked at her surprised as if a friend had told him a bad secret he fell to the ground his mum tried to comfort him but to no avail they both heard 3 clicks outside they both got up and opened the window they could hear a announcer "due to new change in management your child dream job that he could only get is at a lower age..... are you turning 14 today and your dream is to become a space adventurer well come on down to your local town hall sign up sheets too sign up you'll first need 5 people in your group plus a experienced space adventurer and your parents approval when you got that just hand in the paper we will hand out a starter ship if you need one and you can start!" The announcer said.
Lucky's eyes opened widely he smiled he looked towards his mum "mum did you hear it too I can become a space adventurer!" He said mum smiled she hugged him "yeah I heard it and you have my full permission to go!" She said lucky smiled and exited the embrace he immediately went to the inter-planet comm and had put in his friends number after a few minutes it had answered "yeah Lucky what are you calling for it's like super early?" He said lucky smiled "have you heard the knew Markus!" Lucky said Markus looked at him strangely "Look if your talking about the stuff on the speakers I couldn't understand that remember I don't have the universal translator in my head like you do?" Markus said lucky gulped he looked down.
"Yeah sorry anyway it said that we can become SPACE ADVENTURERs." Lucky said Markus looked at him smiling widely Markus smiled faded "but are you sure you want a musai on your team after all the war that's currently on its with us?" Markus said lucky smiled and shook his head "No your part of our team no matter what we've been discussing this since 3 years old your part of our crew no matter what!" Lucky said Markus smiled "your the best friend someone could have!" Markus said lucky nodded "alright I have to go come to my house later alright." Lucky said Markus nodded they both hung up lucky's mum walked up to lucky.
"Yeah mum?" Lucky said mum smiled she handed him something "this is a universal translator." Mum said she uncovered her hands which had shown a small pill like item "I want you to give this to Markus it will help him so he doesn't have a problem." Mum said lucky smiled and nodded he took the small device "thanks mum I'm going to go pickup my friends and sign us up!" Lucky said mum smiled and nodded lucky ran out of the apartment smiling he exited out of the building he looked around noticing huge crowds of kids his age he smelt the air and it had smelt like before iron like in taste and smell he ran over across the street he stopped when he saw the place he needed to go to "the magi camp!" Lucky said.
someone tapped his should he jumped he looked behind him no one was there he shifted his head back to look at the camp he was surprised to notice a girl of his age and a few other people "mavis!" Lucky fell to the ground scared of her sudden appearance Mavis was of magi dissent the magi is a peaceful race of aliens from Magari they looked like humans but the only Different feature were the horns and what their planet calls magic they posses it.
"Mavis what did I say about scaring me I swear you almost gave me a heart attack!" Lucky said Mavis laughed "you humans are so funny anyway what's that?" "The thing you have in your hand." Mavis said lucky looked down he grabbed a container he had in his pocket and had put it in there he immediately shoved the container in his pocket "it's nothing." Lucky said Mavis sighed she got up "fine anyway our friends are already at the town hall." Mavis said lucky looked at her "really." Lucky said Mavis nodded he sighed he immediately walked back into the streets and found his way to the town hall he entered he and Mavis began to look for their friends.
Five minutes later
They found them immediately sitting down mavis and lucky sat down quickly "so Jon were you able to convince your Dad to join us?" A boy said the one he had talked to nodded "yeah Ivan but he said that because there's only one girl he'll add another girl a distant cousin of mine." He said lucky smiled "thanks again Ivan for helping gain the money for a different ship, Jon for getting his dad to join us, Markus for the design ideas, Mavis for the food supply and oxygen supply again thank you!" Lucky said everyone smiled "yeah we just have to wait for my cousin and my dad then we'll be ready!" Jon said.
lucky nodded he pulled out the container he had put the translator in and gave it to Markus he looked at it strangely "what is this?" Markus said lucky smiled "open it." He said Markus nodded he began to untie the straps around it when it had unlocked it made a CLICK sound he opened it and saw the item "a universal transmitter?" Markus said he looked over to lucky he nodded "yeah just became but I think that s a refurbished version of my old one so it might have a few hick ups here and there." Lucky said Markus smiled.
"I don't care thanks this will seriously help me." Markus said he immediately pulled down the neck part of his shirt revealing a small closed door like thing he brought the device closer to it opened Markus had put the device in the door closed back up Markus eyes shined a bright green color it began to fade he smiled "yes!" "Thanks lucky and happy birthday!" He said everyone else soon followed "happy birthday lucky!" Everyone said in a Synchronized manner.
