𝙳𝚎𝚊𝚛 𝚓𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚗𝚊𝚕 𝚘𝚛 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛, 𝚂𝚌𝚑𝚘𝚘𝚕 𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚠𝚎𝚎𝚔, 𝙸 𝚊𝚕𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚢 𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚏𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚘𝚛. 𝙸 𝚖𝚒𝚜𝚜𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚋𝚞𝚜 𝚜𝚘 𝙸 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍𝚗'𝚝 𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚙 𝚋𝚢 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚎 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚙. 𝚃𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚌𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚜 𝚒𝚜 𝚗𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛-𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐, 𝙸 𝚖𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚍𝚒𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚋𝚘𝚛𝚎𝚍𝚘𝚖 𝙸 𝚜𝚠𝚎𝚊𝚛. 𝚆𝚎𝚕𝚕, 𝙸'𝚕𝚕 𝚠𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚛.

The bell rings I scramble to pick up my books dropping one in the process. A hand with chipped black painted nail catches it.

"Hey, you dropped this"

I look up and it's the boy, well I thought she was.. she has light blue eyes. My voice breaks.

"S...s..sorry...I...I.." She breaks me off.

" It's cool, the names Bee" I got lost in her eyes.

"G...Gracie.... Gracie Loner"

"So you're a loner?"

"I...no.. it's.."

She laughs."It's nice to meet you, Grace"

"Gracie," I say quietly feeling my face getting hotter.

"Well I'll see you around, loner"

I nod, taking my book and walking to my last class. My heart is racing, my face is hot...Am I having a stroke?

I sit in my next class and the bell rings for it to be over. Already? I must have got lost in my thoughts. I collect my things and walk to the bus station, the bus arrives and I sit down.

"Mind if I sit here?" It's her

"I..no..I.. don't mind" She smiles and sits next to me.

I got off the bus and walked to the dorms, That felt like the longest bus ride ever, I kept my head down the whole time. I live with this one girl who is the complete opposite of me, her name is Candy. Candy's aesthetic is all rainbows and colors, mine is My Chemical Romance and darkness.

"Gracie!" Candy's voice echos through our dorm. " I have great news, I made cookies and we have new roomie! "

We had an empty room for a while and it was getting hard to pay rent.

"Are they paying rent?"

"Yep, She kinda reminds me of you, dark and mysterious" She smiled.

" What I'm not dark and mysterious"

Candy walks over and hugs me, she shoves a cookie into my mouth. "Yes you are" She giggles.

I hear footsteps from the bathroom. My eyes go wide.

"Well, I need to go study, bye" I muffle out and book it to my room. I slam the door and grab my journal, I sit on my bed my bird greets me. We aren't supposed to have pets but she is my emotional support animal. My blood is rushing through my body, my heart is pounding in my ears. I pet my bird gently then two knocks tap my door.

"Knock.....Knock"

My voice shakes "yes?"

"May I come in?"

"Candy I told you to not disturb me when I'm studying"

"It's not Candy" The voice had deepened and my heart sunk. I get up slowly, Nova my bird flies onto my shoulder. I unlock the door and open it, it's her. I catch myself getting lost in her eyes but I regain focus.

"w..w.What do you need?" She kinda peeks into my room, I shut the door behind me. "hello??"

"Oh, I just wanted to introduce myself correctly" her voice is kinda soothing. " My name is Annabella but you could call me Bee, I saw you have a few classes with me."

"Y..yeah" I step back trying to keep a bit of distance.

"Well, I gotta go pack, see you at dinner?"

"yeah" I don't usually eat dinner and just stay in my room, she finally walks away. I slide down my door in relief but then I notice something. Something shiny...
