8 The Rumor
Cecilia and Irina were not sure why Alan wanted them to debut together as it was not really a good idea. However, after listening to the song, they knew the reason immediately.
It was a group song or it could be a duet as it was expected to be sung by the two of them. Moreover, they knew that it was a very high-quality song. While Alan sang the song, his voice was not on the level to truly show the essence of the song. Even so, they found it incredible, starting with the melody to the lyrics.
They knew that with just this song, their popularity would soar. They don't know how Alan found such an incredible song but it was a blessing for them.
"Hey, tell us where you got the song?"
Irina asked again. She was really curious about who could have helped them. Cecilia also nodded her head as she leaned close to listen to the answer.
'It's a secret!"
I answered. How else would I answer? I just brought it out from thin air. If I said that no one would believe me and I don't plan to divulge my secret either.
-THUD!
"OW! What did you do that for?"
I protested in pain.
"If you are planning to be an Idol, I suggest you stop behavior such as this. Nobody would like you if you kept being such a brute."
I said.

I thought to myself. Not only do I get to reprimand Irina, but I could also logically ask Irina to change her attitude. Hehe… What a brilliant way to do it.
"BLAH! Like hell, I would stop. Alan, just reveal the writer and I might make your life easier."
Irina said. She was dying to know the songwriter and didn't care what Alan thought or said. Anyway, she only showed her worst side to him.
"I can't say."
"Say it!"
"No!"
"Say it" …
Irina also became physical like trying to climb on my back and doing everything to annoy me. This was her usual tactic in order for me to give in. However, this was something that I just can't say.
"Irina! Stop! Alan must have gone through a lot to get this song. We can't force him like this."
Cecilia came to the rescue. She stopped Irina from annoying me more. I knew that my angel was kinder than this ruffian.
"Humph! Anyway, how do you plan to change our schedule? With our relationship with Dreamwave Entertainment, I don't think they would approve anything that we request."
Irina asked.
"For that just leave it to me."
I said confidently.
Irina and Cecilia stared at me confusedly. They must be confused as to how I would convince Dreamwave Entertainment management to agree to my plan. I was also looking forward to that.
The school went as normal. I sat for the class and everything was as usual except I was also implementing my plan little by little.
The plan was simple. Rather than requesting to agree to my plan, it was much better to use our bad relationship as an advantage to have them change the schedule according to my needs. You will know what it means shortly.
The plan was to spread rumors about how Irina and Cecilia's debut is taking too much of the company's resources and how they should debut together in order to save the resources of the company.
Just spread this rumor little by little until it reaches the ear of someone from upper management of Dreamwave Entertainment company. As long as someone who is keen on helping Luna or dislikes Irina or Cecilia hears this rumor, they would surely propose the idea of having their debut together.
By doing so, they would be able to make Luna happy while also saving the company money. It was killing two birds with one stone.
However, they would not know that this was all according to my plan. If they did, they would never agree with the plan.
Firstly, through using social media, I took on an anonymous name and continued to spread information about Dreamwave Entertainment.
After school, I went around talking to other staff of Dreamwave Entertainment and also some of the people who are working for Luna. I intentionally tried to speak about the budget and how it is not enough. And how the company should just have one debut for two of them, though I complained that it would affect their popularity.
However, I was not only doing this. I had to also prepare for their debut. The most important thing was giving Irina and Cecilia their songs and having them be proficient in them.
I had prepared two songs for them and the last one was going to be their duet.
They were obviously surprised by the other songs as well. While not on a 'STAY' level, they were all good advanced quality songs. They might have not even got one such song from the company. And I had given them two each.
Irina began to pester me again about the songwriter. However, there was no way she would get an answer from me.
I had to also accompany them to practice. Since I could listen to their originals, I would try to compare them with Irina and Cecilia's singing and maybe improve their singing to be the same as the original.
First, it was Irina's turn. She was going to sing her solo song which I gave her.
As Irina started to sing the solo song that I had prepared for her, I, who was watching the practice session, was immediately mesmerized by her singing. I had never heard Irina sing like this before, and it was clear that she had been working hard on her vocals.
I was captivated by the emotion in Irina's voice, and how she effortlessly hit every note with precision and control. I couldn't take my eyes off her and was completely absorbed in the performance.
I could not believe that it was the same Irina that I had known for 16 years. She seemed to have transformed into someone that I didn't know.
As she finished her song, I was filled with a sense of awe and admiration for Irina's talent.
At that moment, I realized that Irina had the potential to be a true star in the music industry. Her skills were not at the level of an Idol trainee but far better.
"How was it?"
Irina asked. I was suddenly awoken from my thoughts. I stared at her dumbfounded.
"Oie, you hear me?"
Irina said while waving her hand in front of my face.
"Yes, yes!"
I answered quickly, embarrassed by my initial reaction.
( Damn! It is just Irina! Just the same brute I have known! )
"So, was it good?"
Irina asked excitedly.
"It was okay."
I lied. It was more than okay but I didn't want to say that to Irina who is already inflated with her ego. She might keep on boasting if I praised her.
"Humph! What would you know? This is the best voice in the world. You should be honored to hear my voice every day."
Irina began boasting even without my praise. I could not imagine the scenario if I had praised her earlier. It might have been worse.
Anyway, next was Cecilia who also sang very well. Not at the level of Irina but I thought it was great, much better than some singers. They had good voices as well as looks. I could guess why Luna felt threatened by them.
Every day after school, I would accompany them to practice. Even though they were good, they also had flaws. I would point out their mistakes and try to make them as perfect as possible.
I could help them like this because of my Advance Manager Skills and Beginner Singing Skills. Without them, even if I knew they were making mistakes, I would not know how to explain it to them
Along with that, I had to also do promotions for their debut including media appearances, fan meetings, and album releases. I also had to make their schedule so that they could make it on time.
I was also responsible for announcing their debut to their respective fan groups. While they had yet to debut, they already had thousands of fans. It must be due to them uploading their performances online which managed to attract some people.
Their beauty was also enough for the majority of the male to become their fans. Anyway, there were already some people who were aware of their presence which would make it easier when selling tickets.
During that time, the rumor that I made began to spread. The rumor was something that was fiercely discussed in Dreamwave Entertainment. Just as I planned, many were talking about how much less they would have to work if both Irina and Cecilia debuted together.
It was all going according to plan!
