9 Day Before the Exam II

"Good, you're all here."

I say as I look around the room. Even the most anti-social of my four bodyguards, Long Hai, is present. Long Hai has a Mutant-type Quirk that transformed him into a half-man, half-dragon. Basically, what fictional stories used to call [Drakonoid] which is also the name of his Quirk.

Aside from the mutation that has happened to him, Long Hai could also be considered to have an Emitter-type Quirk since like a true Drakonoid he could produce fire through his breath.

Long Hai is a pretty cool guy since he rarely talks and mostly just listens to what people say making him not annoying. Unlike Sato who likes to talk so much and irritate me.

As my bodyguard Long Hai is wearing the same black suit Sato is wearing minus the glasses. Seriously what's up with the glasses?

He's got long wavy red hair that reaches down his shoulders, two large horns on his head and, scales all over his body. It doesn't just end there, he also has these sharp claws both on his hands and feet while on his back is a pair of bat-like wings and a black tail.

"Long Hai," I greeted him which he replies to with a nod.

The next one I gaze at is an old man with tanned skin and white hair. His name is Billy, he's got an Emitter-type Quirk that releases a dense fog that covers a large area. Billy releases the fog from his skin. He's also pretty quiet like Long Hai so I find him nice to be around except when he drinks. Gods, when he drinks he's worst than Sato. Billy is also wearing a black suit that's serving as their uniform.

"Billy," I once again greeted only for him to smile wryly at me. Why? Nevermind that not like I care.

The next one has white hair and black eyes. His name is Smith and he also has an Emitter-type Quirk that allows him to clone any person or animal he touches while simultaneously controlling those clones. The weakness of his clones is the fact that his clones don't last for more than a day and also can't copy the Quirks of the originals he's touched.

Smith is the youngest amongst my bodyguards and also the next one that's annoying since he's hot-headed and quick to challenge anyone to a fight.

"Smith," he looks like he's eaten shit when I greeted him. What's the problem with Billy and Smith?

The last one, the most annoying of them all is Sato. Blond hair(obviously dyed) and black eyes. Black suit and glasses, that annoying smile on his face that never seems to disappear. Honestly, I would have already fired him but the thing is his Quirk is too useful to let him go.

Like the others, he's got an Emitter-type Quirk that allows him to create black portals on any flat surface he touches. The problem with his Quirk, however, is that it only travels from point A to point B. Once he's set a new point A then the previous point B is already a lost cause.

Also, he could only open portals to places he's already seen. So that's a huge handicap, the good thing is that no matter the distance even if his point A is here on Earth and his point B is on the moon Sato will not have a problem opening a portal.

If only there's someone who has a more efficient Quirk than him then I could simply replace him. Life really isn't good all the time.

Long Hai, Billy, Smith, and Sato are the four bodyguards that Father has hired to protect me.

"Now. I've asked all of you to be present as I have important instructions for your group," I say to them making Smith frown. Like me, he finds troublesome things annoying so I'll forgive him for that. The only difference between us is that I'm his boss while he's the employee so no matter the troublesome thing I order him to do he will have to follow.

"I want the four of you to search for a Telepath that's the same age as Sayaka and I in Genosha. I need him or her before Sayaka's exam in U.A. starts, got that?"

The four looked at each other before nodding at me.

"Good, the next one I know you're all planning to use Sato's Quirk to return to Genosha," I say making them grow tense, "I need Smith to make copies of the four of you and have those clones ride a plane back to Genosha. I don't want any of us to be suspected of having a teleportation Quirk because that might serve as a tramp card just in case an emergency happens."

They nodded in understanding.

"Go ahead and start searching for the person I need Billy. You're the person good at this so I'll leave you in charge of it," I say to the old man with white hair. He nodded and replied, "I shall not disappoint you Young Master." then he left the room.

"Sato, once any of you finds the person I want him or her teleported back here quickly so that I can evaluate whether the person Billy finds is useful or not. Smith, once I've decided that they are acceptable for my plan to help Sayaka you're going to make people think they will take a plane from Genosha to Japan. Like I said earlier, it's best to keep the fact we have a teleporter around."

Seeing that they all in understand my orders I nodded. It's during this time that nee-chan came to the living room from the kitchen with a tray. Hmm, is that Sayaka and my tray or nee-chan's? It doesn't matter.

Nee-chan placed the tray containing sandwiches and drinks on top of the center table.

"Here Hai-san, Williams-san, and Satou-san food and drinks. I'm sure you all haven't eaten yet." (Nemuri)

Nee-chan is calling Smith and Sato with different names… She needs to memorize other people's names because it's rude to others.

"Nee-chan you're wrong. That always angry looking guy is Smith and the annoying one is Sato."

She looked at me smiled and said, "Hiro-chan don't bully them too much."

"Bully?"

Hmm, I don't really know what nee-chan is talking about.

"Kukuku. Young Master, Nemuri-sama don't worry about it. This way is more amusing since I could see just how badly Carson wants to go berserk but can't." (Satou)

"Sorry about my little brother Williams-san." (Nemuri)

Nee-chan says to Smith which made my bodyguard blush. Oi oi, don't you dare think of anything rude about my nee-chan.

"It's alright Nemuri-sama." (Williams)

Both Smith and Sato then started to eat the food nee-chan gave them. Long Hai is just standing there watching us, hmm… Though I say he's cool there are times that he is just creepy.

After a full ten minutes of nee-chan and my bodyguards talking about stuff they think are interesting Billy returns to the room.

"Young Master, I have found a person fitting the criteria that you are looking for." (Michaels)

I smile, that's why I left the job to him because Billy is efficient when it comes to searching for specific information or people. He's kinda like a bodyguard-spy combined?

"Alright, tell me about this person."

"The Madame wishes to talk to you about her Young Master before that." (Michaels)

"Mother? Alright, give me the phone."

Billy handed me his phone as I ordered and put it on speaker mode.

"What is this about Mother?"

{Explain to me why you need someone with Telepathy on your side.}

Hmm, there's something about this person. They definitely have some sort of background for making even Mother call and talk about this.

"I need someone who will assist Sayaka in her exams and any other similar future problems."

{You don't trust Sayaka to pass her written exams on her own?}

"I trust that she will do her best but I can't risk it. Her going to the same class as I am is for the sake of my sanity."

{… Alright. I'll ask her if she wishes to join you in U.A. but with her Quirk, it's close to impossible for her to pass the test herself.}

"She? A woman?" I frowned at that new information. Sayaka might not let her live with us if it's a woman. "What information do you have about her Mother?"

{Ritsuka Takanashi, daughter of Stephanie Takanashi. She lived most of her life in New York but moved to Genosha six months ago with her mother because of her Father's death from a Villain.

Ritsuka's parents are divorced, she lived with her father her whole life and only met her Mother a few times who's always lived in Genosha.

Her Quirk is as mentioned [Telepathy] which allows her to communicate with a person she has touched through their minds.}

"Daughter? Stephanie Takanashi? Aunt Stephanie? That Aunt Stephanie? What? Since when did she have a daughter!? I have so many questions right now that needs answers Mother."

{I need to talk to your Aunt and cousin about this Hirokazu so I'll end the call now. I will just contact Michaels about their decision. Tell your sister I miss her and she should visit us sometime.}

With that Mother ended the call even before nee-chan who is sitting beside me nor I can say anything else.

"Nee-chan did you know that we have a cousin named Ritsuka?"

"No, I didn't even know that aunt married and divorced someone." (Nemuri)

"Our family is so confusing."

"Yeah." (Nemuri)

So weird…

"Who's Michaels anyway?"

"That would be me, Young Master." (Michaels)

Billy says as he steps forward. I give him back his phone while I look at him weirdly.

"When did you change your name, Billy?"

"Henry Michaels has always been my name, Young Master." (Michaels)

What?

"Anyway, you have your orders. Once you're done eating go ahead and do the stuff you're supposed to. Smith make sure your control over the clones will not be suspected. Sato, bring my… Cousin here at once when Mother has given the go signal. No questions? Alright, I'll go ahead and check on Sayaka then."

"I'll go back to my apartment and check on my roommate as well," nee-chan says as she stands up and exits through the door. Smith is following her movement with his eyes. I should pluck his eyes out.

===== Satou P.O.V.

As the Young Master walks back to his room he says, "Make sure you do your jobs properly."

Of course, Young Master, I will make sure that we do not disappoint the next pillar of Genosha. After all, we owe Genosha our lives.

"Kukuku, well then I believe we should all start our work then? We don't want to disappoint the man who would control Genosha in the future, right?" (Satou)

"Tch. Already so bossy when he's not yet taken that position." (Williams)

My colleague, Carson Williams complains. I've expected him to complain since he has the most job amongst the four of us. Controlling four clones to act like us that will take a plane back to Genosha. And he even needs to do that to make sure no one would suspect. Kuku, the Young Master truly knows how to push someone to the edge.

The next one to speak is surprisingly Long Hai, the quiet guy and also the one that Young Master finds cool. However, in that regard, I cannot agree since I am cooler than him even if he's part dragon. After all, I'm wearing a black suit and black glasses. Just like the agent from that old movie.

"We just need to do our job perfectly, our lives are theirs to control." Pretty much what we all think since Genosha protected us when we were being hunted, however, not to the extent of being "controlled" as Long Hai thinks.

"Haha! You young ones sure are talkative. Just eat and relax then let's do our job!"

Henry Michaels boisterously said, true we do indeed need to eat all the food completely. It is made by Nemuri-sama for us after all.

===== Sayaka P.O.V.

Coming out of the bath I see Hi-chan sitting on my bed. He's frowning, did something bad happen?

"Hi-chan what's wrong desu~?" (Sayaka)

He looks at me with a troubled smile and explained to me the situation. It seems that Hi-chan is worried about me being jealous of the female cousin he apparently has that will be coming here to help me pass my exams.

It's troubling that Hi-chan is worried about my exams when I'm not but that's alright. It's Hi-chan after all, of course, he's worried about me.

Anyway, why will I be jealous of someone who will come here to help me? Sure I wish to have Hi-chan for myself but it's not like I'll prevent her to have other women. He's the prince, after all, if he doesn't have his own concubines like his elder brother then he'll be looked down upon.

"There won't be a problem desu~." (Sayaka)

"You sure?" Hi-chan asks as he looks at me with concern in his eyes. "Yes, desu~," I reply to Hi-chan. I'm a mature woman. I won't complain.

===== Hirokazu P.O.V.

I'm doing my best to ignore the fact that Sayaka is only wearing pink shorts and a white tank top. Will she be wearing this kind of clothes all the time when we're at our apartment? Because if she is then I don't think I'll be able to take it.

"Wanna go out?"

I don't want to be stuck here the whole day and I just remembered how Elysium still doesn't have single furniture on it. It's best to do it sooner rather than later.

Also, this will help me calm down.

"Where are we going desu~?" (Sayaka)

"To buy some furniture for Elysium."

Sayaka nodded, "Alright. Let me change my clothes desu~."

Acknowledging that as a hint to make myself scarce I walk out of Sayaka's room and head to my own while I mumble under my breathe, "Evil thoughts be gone. Evil thoughts be gone. Evil thoughts be gone."

Need to change my own clothes.

Sayaka and I are currently in Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall looking around for stuff that we'd like to buy. We found this place using the internet and it seems that what the people said about this place is true.

This shopping mall is truly filled with many stores that sell items that are designed for different body types and Quirks. When we were buying the furniture we wanted there were some that support those with Mutant-type Quirks like Long Hai.

I don't know about the shopping malls in Genosha since I've always had someone else buy my stuff for me but this place is great. Except for the people that are scattered all over this is good.

The furniture we bought has been placed in my Storage which people have assumed to be my Quirk. I didn't clarify since there's no need to do so.

"Where should we go next Hi-chan?" (Sayaka)

"Hmm… Clothes Sayaka? Or maybe food? I'm not sure."

"Clothes desu~. Hi-chan you need more clothes other than just hoodies." (Sayaka)

"Ugh we've talked about this I don't need clothes when I rarely go out."

"Such a waste desu~." (Sayaka)

Yeah, I'm going to ignore that she said that. Looking around the people seemed to have doubled over the past hour that we've been walking around.

I look at my phone and see that the time is [4:58]. Around time to go home then.

"We sho-" Before I could complete what I wanted to say, a loud "BOOOOMM!" sound came from afar.

"It's the Volcano Thieves!" (?)

"Run!" (?)

"Villains are here! Run!" (?)

Villains? We sure have such good luck. The one time I actually invite Sayaka to go out we encounter this sort of idiots. I look at my companion only to see her eyes are twinkling.

Oh no.

"Let's see them desu~!" (Sayaka)

Yep. Oh no.

"Hi-chan! This is the first time we've encountered Villains! We can't miss this desu~. This will be very cool, we can even show it to our future classmates!" (Sayaka)

"You're planning to take pictures Sayaka?"

"Yes, desu~." (Sayaka)

I sighed, I can never say no to her.

"Just picture alright?"

"And a video desu~." (Sayaka)

"Of course you'll want a video. Come on let's go hide somewhere you can take your pictures and videos."

"Thank you desu~." (Sayaka)

Damn it. This is all going to go wrong for sure.

We're hiding inside a store adjacent to the bank that the Volcano Thieves are robbing. It seems that the orange-haired guy is their leader and the duck look-alike guy is a member. They're going to fight the Heroes and buy some time for their third member who's currently robbing the bank clean.

They have hostages inside the bank but it doesn't seem like they plan on hurting anyone. For now.

There's only one Hero that arrived and that guy was quickly taken out because his Quirk is about transforming himself to sand and that sorta didn't work to the Villains. One has the Quirk to create and shoot magma while the other one seems to be able to turn his hands into fans that blow the pro-Hero away.

Pretty useless guy.

"I see desu~. There is a larger battle not too far away from here Hi-chan that's why no pro-Hero has shown up yet. They don't seem interested in some thieves when a rampaging giant is out there desu~." (Sayaka)

"No one? This is why I keep telling you being a Hero is stupid Sayaka. All they care about is their popularity and the earnings they'll make. There is no true Hero in this world, not anymore."

"Hmm. But that one looks like a real Hero Hi-chan. I searched the net a bit and found out he is the Sand Hero: Snatch desu~. He mostly works with the police Hi-chan. That's why he isn't a popular Hero."

"Hmm, doesn't matter. He's still pretty useless, he should try figuring out his Quirk more. I can guess that he believes he's immune to fire since he ignored it the moment he appeared but the thing is he didn't take note that magma has a far higher temperature than the simple fire that he seems used to.

He also creates constructs but that isn't enough if he can't touch the Villains. Just his appear body won't cut it, he should learn to control his Quirk and transform his whole body into sand."

I could see Sayaka nodding at my words while taking more pictures of the events happening outside.

"Ah! Hi-chan their companion came out of the bank desu~!" (Sayaka)

Hmm, true and she's carrying a large duffel bag that I assume contains the money. What's worrying, however, is the fact that the Villain is walking behind a girl who I assume is a hostage.

"They have a hostage desu~." (Sayaka)

"Yeah, and it looks like Snatch doesn't seem to have any idea on how to save the girl while also apprehending the Villains. How long has he been a pro-Hero? Why is he so inexperienced when it comes to this?"

"Hi-chan should we do something? The girl looks so afraid desu~." (Sayaka)

"We can't really do anything about this. They have a law here that doesn't allow someone to use their Quirk in public if they don't have a license."

"Primitive desu~." (Sayaka)

I wanted to laugh at Sayaka's words. It's true when it comes to allowing the usage of Quirks in public a lot of countries prohibit it. Only a few countries like Genosha allow the use of Quirks in public as long as it isn't used to cause harm.

Still, we should do something about the girl. I may not be someone who aspires to be a Hero but when trouble is in front of me I won't reject the idea of helping a little… Also, the girl they took hostage is cute.

I look around and noticed that we entered the furniture store that we bought from earlier. This will work then.

"Sayaka go throw a bed on the Villains and then I'll follow that up with some miscellaneous items. Hopefully, Snatch will take that opening as a chance to counterattack against the Villains."

"Got it desu~." Sayaka quickly and easily picked up a large-sized bed while I lifted miscellaneous items using my Quirk that doesn't have much weight. I'm one to talk when I haven't trained my Quirk for so long.

"Go," I say.

===== Random Person P.O.V.

"Hey! The Volcano Thieves is taking a girl captive!" (?)

"We can see that idiot!" I say to my friend who seems awfully excited about all this while I continue to take advantage of this incident and live stream it to boost my follower count.

"H-hey look!" My friend shouted, I look at the direction he's pointing at and saw a bed fly out of a furniture shop. It's heading straight to the Volcano Thieves that doesn't seem surprised by this. Volcano, the leader of the Volcano Thieves just used his Quirk to burn the bed while Gust Boy blew the fire away.

What they didn't notice is the small objects just behind the bed.

The objects hit the three Villains relentlessly making an opening for the Sand Hero: Snatch to form three giant hand constructs that punched the daylights out of the three Villains.

"That is so awesome."

"I know right!? Snatch just transformed his sand into three giant hands then boom the Villains are dead!" (?)

I look at my idiotic friend and sighed.

"No, they're not dead only unconscious. Also, I wasn't talking about Snatch. Sure he defeated the Villains but don't forget about the one that helped him.

Whoever it is, (s)he must have great control over his/her Quirk because none of the objects he threw to the Villains hurt the captive girl. I wonder which pro-Hero it is."

I focused my camera on the door of the furniture shop when I noticed people walking out of it.

"Huh, they're kids?"

===== Hirokazu P.O.V.

We walk out of the store when the Villains got knocked out. Honestly, it was kind of anticlimactic. I didn't expect them to get knocked out just like that. Are they really just flashy and packs no punch?

I didn't even get to see the Quirk of the only woman in their group.

Snatch handcuffs the Villains and helps the girl taken hostage earlier. The Police Force arrived soon after and soon took control of the situation.

Snatch talk for a while with the Police and then he walks towards us with the girl following behind him. Is he going to give us some sort of lecture about using our Quirks in public without any license or what?

"HAHA! Good one kids! Thank you for helping me in saving the little girl. Here, someone else wants to thank you." (Snatch)

Genuine gratitude? I didn't expect that. It's welcomed though.

"I-I'm not a little girl. I'll soon be a first-year high school. My name is Kashiko Sekigai.

A-anyway, thank you for saving me. Whoever it was between the both of you, what you did was great. The control of your Quirk is amazing how did you train to obtain that much control over your Quirk?" (Kashiko)

Hmm… Kashiko is a petite girl with a round face and pale hair, tinted a periwinkle blue, that reaches down to her shoulders, curving outwards at the ends. She wears it side-swept to the right, with one long bang hanging down beside her face which curls inwards, and she has the hair on the left side tucked behind her ear. Her eyes are intelligent and gray in color, and over them, she wears a pair of triangular glasses with thick dark frames.

A beautiful girl. Very beautiful. Yeah, I'll befriend her.

"I'm Hirokazu Kayama and this is my best friend Sayaka Akiyama. We both did what we had to do, after all, we can't just let them go when we can actually help."

"Hello, desu~. It's good you're alright." (Sayaka)

"It's the both of you that helped us?" (Snatch)

"Yeah, Sayaka threw the bed while all I did is to distract the Villains with some small objects."

"Thath- No, I mean that isn't just a small thing you did Kayama-san! Your control over your Quirk made sure I wouldn't be hurt. Thank you for that." Kashiko said excitedly that she even bit her tongue at the start. What she didn't notice is how she unconsciously held my hands.

"Yes lad, it isn't. I would have had more trouble in solving this problem without your help. Don't undermine what you did. You helped save a life today. You and this little girl with you." (Snatch)

"I'm not little desu~." (Sayaka)

Sayaka says in displeasure. Cute.

We talked for a while before a detective from the Police Force had to interview us. He asked us some small stuff before leaving us alone.

"Kayama-san," I interrupted her by saying, "Just call me Hirokazu. Please don't add any 'san' 'kun' or anything. I'm not used to all this formal stuff."

She nodded while blushing. Why?

"Hi-Hirokazu. Can… Can I have your number? I want to thank both you and Akiyama-san some time for saving me." (Kashiko)

"Alright desu~!" (Sayaka)

Well looks like Sayaka is happy for obtaining a new friend. That's good. While we were talking with each other another commotion broke out.

I look at where it's coming from and noticed how dust seems to have spread in the area.

"It's Dusty Ash! She's escaping," shouted by the detective that talked to us earlier. I form a "wall" around us to make sure the dust won't reach us. I don't know what side effect that has.

A few minutes later the dust has settled and I could no longer see the one they call Dusty Ash and the money that she stole from the bank.

"Guess she's been waiting for a chance to escape," I say but no one replied. I guess they're all too busy.

That's that I guess, the Villain wins this time since she escaped. Though I have a feeling that this will not be the last time I'll be seeing the Villain called, Dusty Ash or any member of their group.

I guess I need to watch out for the Volcano Thieves in the future.

A/N:

That's this week done. Like I said in the previous chapter I have my exams next week so no updates.

Now about this chapter, I think I got a bit carried away and wrote a thousand more words than I'm supposed to but welp that's fine. I enjoyed showing the Volcano Thieves and Snatch in this chapter very much.

For those that don't know about the Volcano Thieves, they're from the game of BNHA though I haven't played it myself I quite like their Quirks. They're supposed to be strong villains and they are. They just got unlucky since they didn't expect Hirokazu and Sayaka to intervene in this.

We'll be seeing them more in the future.

Now I wonder what kind of effect will this heroic action cause for Hirokazu and Sayaka's lives.
