Chapter one:

Sophie Kenobi is a sixteen year old scavenger on Tatooine and it looked like her life was going nowhere. Her mom and dad planned to pass down their moisture farm once they retired. Sophie had always heard stories about Jedi and how she dreamt of being one. She built her own lightsaber out of some spare parts but it didn't work, so she imagined it did. She always looked up to Luke Skywalker because he was from Tatooine. One day her life changed when she went to Mos Eisley Cantina. Sophie had been out scavenging and found some cool parts to sell. She grabbed her portions and went on her way when she sensed someone outside. And it just happened to be Rey Skywalker, an absolute idol to her. She was joined by her faithful companion BB-8.
