1 C1 - A ride to get out of hell

I looked around and gasped, how could I be alive? My starfighter was just destroyed so how!? Even if the emergency system managed to take me out, I didn't have a spacesuit at the time!

It was only then that I notice something terrifying, a giant humanoid creature made out of some sort of energy, was looking at me from below! It started moving towards me, and only stopped when it was right in front of me.

"Human, you accumulated enough karma to be reborn in another world with a helping hand, and as you have said before, you will be reincarnated in a universe extremely similar to that of Star Wars."

"Wait, what are you talking about!? Reincarnated? As I have said? What the hell!?"

The creature blinked its eyes and a huge screen appeared out of nowhere showing someone very similar to me, but using extremely old clothes, the kind you'd only see in a museum.

"8 thousand years ago, you gathered enough karma to be reborn in a universe of your choice, but you wanted something to help you in your journey, and since you didn't have enough, I said that you could reincarnate there later if you decided to spend more time in Earth to accumulate karma."

Hearing his awful emotionless words, I felt like crying, why was this happening to me, I wasn't the same guy from that screen even if the soul was the same, I knew only some things about it, and doubted it would be useful in any way.

"Then, what sort of help will you give me?"

The creature looked at me for a moment before replying.

"You are a greedy man, with many dreams and objectives, the thing that would better suit you is knowledge and power, and I'll give you just that, however, this is no charity, everything has a price, and Karma is just the starting point." He pointed to the horizon where many stars could be seen from afar. "You don't have enough karma to get back your memories from your old self, but you do have enough to keep yours, I will give you a new life, and manipulate it so that you can get what you want, and when I finish my part of the deal, you'll awaken your memories, and be free to do as you wish, even if what you want to do is cause utter chaos, conquer the galaxy, become immortal or whatever. And remember, any karma works, bad or good, doesn't matter, make sure to have as much as you can before you die because this is the only way to keep your memory and get some benefits."

The creature showed me its terrifying smile before touching me and making me instantly fall asleep.

--------------------

When I woke up, I was in a kind of capsule with a circular window. Red lights flashed over me, plus some circuits on the capsule walls seemed to be shorted as sparks fell from them every few seconds.

I looked out the window, but I could barely see anything, it was very dark. Somehow, I knew there was something wrong, so I took the mask off my face and pushed the door with all my strength, however, something strange happened, before I could touch the door, it flew away as if it had received a kinetic shock.

It was then that a wave of pain washed over my head, memories that didn't belong to me started to come up very quickly, it was like watching a movie, only you were forced to remember every detail.

When it was over I fell on the cold metal floor outside the capsule with difficulty breathing and could barely move, I was very dizzy, almost as if someone had hit me with a truck.

After a few seconds, my head stopped spinning and I sat up, then my eyes got used to the darkness and I realized where I was.

It was a medical facility, one that... I built? No, it was this body that made it, he was a Je'daii master, someone who had achieved perfect harmony between Ashla and Bogan, that harmony was known as Bendu.

His name was Aldjer Gelsta, and apparently, he was a very lonely man, even in his missions he preferred to work alone, which resulted in his current situation...

Apparently, he came to this planet called Mustafar to end an extremely powerful warrior from the infinite empire, it was the best opportunity for that because he was wounded, in the end, he was successful, but his fight resulted in the destruction of his only means of transport, and something prevented anyone from finding his location.

This place was built as a means of preserving his body through a very specific technique that combined science with the force to preserve the body in a state of perfect health for as long as needed. But there was something wrong, I'm sure of it, me or rather, this body, it should be woken up once every ten years, but ... there was something different about this place.

It was Mustafar, but it was not Mustafar that he remembered, the echoes of the force, they were different, they were... closely aligned with Bogan.

I stood up and left that room, through the corridor I arrived at the storage room, I felt danger approaching, so I had to prepare. Fortunately, they were there, my war armor, it wasn't much really, they were robes made out of special materials that could be repaired and reinforced using the force, all in all, it looked like a red and black-grey hooded robes, with red shoulder pads, black-grey and red gauntlets, and greaves, coupled with a dark grey mask that covered most of my face.

The armor and my sword were both forged at Vur Tepe using forced imbued materials, it was as good as any force hound equipment you could find if not better. Besides, the sword didn't have any stunning visual, it was a simple black long sword.

As soon as I finished wearing my equipment, I felt the ground shaking and a thunderous sound! It was an earthquake!

Shaking my head, I left the storage room and went up the stairs using everything I had, then I left the cave that led to my home, and the place collapsed soon after.

This was not really a problem, with the force warning me of the danger it was easy to avoid the pieces of rocks falling on the ground, what I did not expect was the landscape composed almost exclusively of lava and rocks.

"What!? But how? This is not possible, what happened to the trees? The animals? What about the natives? Heavens, what happened to this planet!?" I was shocked, I never saw such a sudden change in a planet.

Besides, why was Bogan's presence so strong here? Could this be one of the headquarters of the infinite empire? Could they have destroyed this planet as a form of revenge!?

Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to think about it, cold ran down my spine making all my senses sharpen, while I put all my strength into jumping forward, and just a few seconds later, the ground I was stepping on exploded into a small scorching air crater.

I couldn't believe this. I couldn't continue here, before I - or rather, my body couldn't leave the planet, but if I don't leave, who knows what might happen? I got up and started walking with my eyes closed, my connection to the force had been affected in some way, I could feel something wrong, an imbalance, but it wasn't in me, it was as if the force itself was tending towards Bogan.

Could the Je'daii have been... No, I can't think about it now, this is not the time.

I started running towards anything that could get my out of here, the force was the only thing guiding me and protecting me, it could have been easier had my connection with the force been affected, hopefully, with some meditation and some time, I'll get back to my peak.

I ran without stopping for almost half an hour until I spotted what looked like a mining station, and what was unbelievable was the amount of non-organic life, robots were practically the only thing there, and I could sense a lot of hostility coming from that place.

But I had no choice whatsoever. So I unsheathed my sword and started sneaking around. The mining station wasn't that big, the facility probably had about 5 stores, and the vast majority were only storages, which meant soon there would be a starship to take me out of here.

I hid under one of the tubulations, that was covered by the shadows and waited for an opportunity, however, that planet was becoming too troublesome, the temperature and the smell were horrible, thankfully my mask can filter the air, but not the smell itself which reminded me of charcoal and ashes.

But I was right, and soon a starship arrived and parked at the dock, the doors opened and they started taking out some crates from within, it was my chance to get out! I finally found my ride out of this hell.
