16 First Campaign (Re-written)

AN: Sorry for the break-in updates, but real life takes precedence.

[5 months after arriving on Ossus]

Wolfe looked at the planet he was currently orbiting through the glass on the bridge of the Allfathers Honor. This planet had no planetary government body and was not listed in the republic records. The reason? This planet was in wild space and was alone and trapped due to a nearby black hole. Fly too close, you get sucked in. No one could say what happens then, no one returned to report it. But Wolfe did know what happens. You get spat out the other side, just not alive. That was why Wolfe went through the black hole with only a droid crew. Some think black holes would either crush or rip you apart at a sub-atomic level. But in this particular universe, all they do is irradiate you. Wolfe's body could easily survive this radiation, but he needed Alpha to analyze it so he could develop a way to protect the Allfathers' Honor from it and take this world as his secret base. While Ossus is 'Unknown' that does not mean it does not exist. It can always be stumbled upon or found by aid of the force.

"Alpha, give me a rundown on the planet's situation," Wolfe asked his A.I. "Yes Master, this planet, Aura, was a lost colony from 5000 galactic standard years ago; The population of Humans, Twi'lek and Tortuga are slightly strange and there are no records on why or who formed this colony mission. Shortly after the colony made planetfall, a nearby star collapsed and formed the black hole we entered through, with no way in or out, or any orders and supplies, the colony began to have power struggles and a civil war erupted between all three races, eventually, the humans prevailed and enslaved the Twi'lek and Tortuga population. After the 3 way war, an Empire was founded under the former human democracy, and due to incompetent rulers, the majority of the world is now broken into petty kingdoms and republics. However, due to constant war, and religious dogma, much technology is lost and despite reclamation efforts, they have barely entered the early space age." Alpha finished his explanation around the time Wolfe was finishing up his science and military objective list.

A few things caused Wolfe to come here, first was a scientific mission along with a side objective, the conquest of this world along with the terraforming of the three other planetary bodies and 5 moons. The moons would be hollowed out and turned into factories for consumer goods, while one world would be turned into a cloning world. Wolfe planned to have the genetic template randomized, however. No one wants a single virus able to kill them all, after all.

The other two worlds plus the main planet, Aura, would become the main recruitment zones for his future empire, as well as his most heavily guarded secret. Donning his helmet and nodding to the closest droid, his commander TCD-0001, or as he called himself, Todd. The walk to the hangar bay takes a few minutes of walking due to the size of the ship, so Wolfe took this time to discuss his plans. "You still believe the best way to begin is by giving them an ultimatum, Master, they have no doubt already spotted us with their PDF, further delays will only give them more time to organize a cooperative defense against us," Todd commented on the battle plan. "It would be much quicker to just bombard the planetside communication relays and then take them in the ensuing chaos."

"While that would indeed make the entire campaign quicker, it would also give the governments a chance to label us as a genocidal alien species and rally the entire population behind them. If we tell them we are willing to accept surrendering forces and will not harm them, we will at least have fewer fanatics." Wolfe responded. "Now, what kind of weaponry and tactics can we expect to face?"

"According to spy droids which have infiltrated their orbital defense platform, they have their forces outfitted with kinetic weaponry and armor to defend against it. They also seem to have a lack of viable vacuum traversing fighter aircraft. Their ships instead host many more weapon systems than normal. Railguns, missiles, and crude laser point defense weaponry; It seems they don't want to accidentally put holes in their allies' ships. Only the larger capital ships have shielding, and weak at that. Instead of going for tougher ships, they went for bigger guns. I suggest we use boarding torpedos to capture them while we let our shield soak up the damage. In return for their allegiance, we can offer the return of their ships." Todd gave his report and recommendations.

"I see, I want one thousand droids to assault each of the 40 capital ships and then use their comm's to order the smaller escort ships to surrender and dock at the Allfather's Honor and be held as POW's." Wolfe ordered, "Once that is completed I want half of our forces to land on the smallest continent and begin a fast armored assault, the other half of our forces will follow behind and secure the civilian infrastructure and civilians themselves. Do we have a common language we can use?" Wolfe walked to his personal landing craft, a modified dropship with better shielding armor and engines. "Yes, Master, they speak basic along with racial specific languages. Todd gave his answer.

Taking his seat in the shuttle Wolfe nodded and said, "Commence planetwide broadcast and then commence operation." Todd's optical sensors went dull for a moment before all the ships in the hanger began their launch positions. "Operation is a go." Todd gave his response as the ship shook slightly as the planets PDF began firing.

"So it begins."
