39 Lightsaber Crafting!

Once Xytan purchased his crystal, he stared at it in delight. This lightsaber was shaped differently compared to Illum's Kyber crystals. It was shaped like a perfect ball, with it being slightly bigger than a marble.

Xytan had chosen a Krayt Dragon Pearl!

Krayt Dragon Pearls were the Most Powerful, while Ghost Fire Crystals were the Most Dangerous.

Xytan decided to choose the most powerful instead, it even had a good chance of shorting out his foe's lightsabers. This crystal alone cost 35,000 system points, but with the discount, it was less.

There were certain colors this Pearl came in. They were Blue, Green, Purple, Red, Silver, and Black. Even though they were the same Pearls, they all had different attributes. Black and Silver were the most expensive amongst them.

Xytan chose the Purple Krayt Pearl since it would heighten his dark and light side attributes all at once.

"I think it's about time I gave Viola the little gift I promised her those years back." Xytan bought a different type of special crystal from the system for her.

Xytan chose all of the materials he wanted to use from the steel crate before taking a seat on a meditation mat. He placed all of his materials on the table in front of him. Xytan was all smiles, today he could finally make his own lightsaber.

Xytan scanned over the crystal he was going to give Viola. This was a Dantari crystal from the planet Dantooine.

"Amazing, it can collect stray force energy and recycle that energy back into the user." This would allow the user to fight for a long time without getting tired. This also meant the force was more prominent inside of a Dantari lightsaber crystal.

"If this crystal was used to its maximum degree, the user would never get tired!" The crystal was actually quite broken from Xytan's perspective. This crystal's common colors were Red, Blue, and Green, while the rare colors for it were Purple, Pink, and Yellow.

Xytan decided to give her Pink.

After a while, Shaak Ti and one other Masters came into the room. Shaak Ti was holding a box in her hands, this was obviously the box of Kyber crystals. Visk'lin walked in with her, he and her planned to monitor every Youngling making their sabers.

Shaak Ti gazed over at Xytan before going in the opposite direction, and placing the box on one of the small crafting tables.

Moments later, Xytan could hear a great number of footsteps from afar. He could also hear exciting chatters and whispers coming from that direction. Who could it be if not the group of Younglings?

They all walked in as a group under the guidance of Ageless. Well, Xytan recently found out that his name was actually Vorden.

Viola, Jin, and Ven were amongst them. They were all smiles when he saw their faces. They hadn't noticed Xytan at first, but Viola immediately turned his way as if she had sensed him.

"Xytan!" Viola wanted to go get Xytan but she was told not to leave, and that they would go get him later. However, he was already here before any of them had arrived.

Jin turned his way with a smile as well. Ven also looked his way and nodded slightly before turning to listen to Shaak Ti's explanation. Viola wanted to go over, but she patiently listened to Shaak Ti's explanation on the creation of their lightsabers.

Xytan could easily sense the overwhelming joy and excitement from everyone. This put a smile on his face, this was a good thing. Shaak Ti just explained the dangers of creating one, and how dangerous it was if the matrix was overloaded.

After Shaak Ti finished, every Youngling quickly surrounded the metal crate in a frenzy.

"Everyone, get in a single file line as usual. You'll get your pick eventually, the box won't grow legs and run away." Vorden spoke to get the situation under control, this made him think of old times when he first got his lightsaber as a Youngling.

After this, they were to go over to the box and pick a Kyber crystal.

"Don't pick a Kyber crystal and come and sit by me first." Xytan walked over and whispered these words into Viola's ear.

Viola looked at Xytan with a stunned expression, but she nodded nonetheless. After a while, she came over and took a seat by Xytan without picking a Kyber crystal.

"Was there something you wanted to say to me?" Viola asked curiously.

"You know that gift I've been holding out on you for a while now? Well, here you go, I hope you enjoy them." Xytan grabbed her hand and placed the pink crystal into it. He also gave her a chocolate bar with peanuts and caramel inside of it(Snickers).

Viola did even get a chance to reply when she began looking over the items Xytan had given her.

"It's so beautiful!" Viola spoke with deep fascination. The crystal lit up with a brilliant pink light, it pulsed and blinked often.

"Thank you so much Xytan!" Viola was extremely grateful, this crystal was not simple from what she could feel.

"No Problem, this is Dantari crystal." Xytan began to relay what it could do and how it suited her. Viola liked Form 4 a lot, so she could use the energy from pulling off so many acrobatic feats.

Viola, in her excitement, grabbed Xytan's face and kissed him on the cheek! Xytan eyes widen before quickly got away.

"What are you..." Xytan hurriedly gazed around to see if anyone had seen that. And sure enough, Shaak Ti was staring right at them with a deep frown. Xytan waved Shaak Ti's way before turning to face Viola.

"S-sorry, I got a little too excited," Viola said with a sad tone.

"It's alright. Try not to do those things, it can be a little troublesome if people see stuff like this." Xytan didn't believe her actions were a mistake, he could feel that it was on purpose.

He didn't feel happy about getting kissed, Xytan would have been happy if it was some sexy busty chick or something.

"Um, what's this?" Viola secretly grinned at Xytan's reaction before asking him a question. She was holding the candy bar he had given her.

"Something for you, just removed the wrap on it and eat it." Xytan could already see that everyone had chosen their crystals.

"Aye, guys!" Jin suddenly arrived by Viola's side before taking a seat with a wide smile. He sat two blue kyber crystals on his little forge desk with his lightsaber hilt materials.

"Wow, you're going to make two of them?" Viola asked in excitement.

"Hehe, oh yeah!" Jin laughed heartily before looking at her and Xytan's crystals.

"Those are some pretty decent colors, but they look cool all the same." Jin noticed the shape difference between his and theirs.

"Mhm! Let's make our lightsabers!" Viola said enthusiastically.

Xytan had thought about giving Jin some Pontite crystals but he didn't believe he was talented enough for those. People like Luke and Anakin were talented enough for such crystals, those crystals were strong with the light side of the force.

Time passed by, everyone Youngling was silently building their lightsabers with the utmost concentration. Some Younglings would look over at their neighbors to see how their design was going.

The Masters were especially attentive when it came to watching over everyone.

Xytan turned his head towards Viola to see what she was doing. After she put her saber together, she placed the crystal on the table. Viola closed her eyes and started to focus, she parted her already crafted hilt and began putting them back together with crystal this time.

Viola lightsaber was complete just like that. Her lightsaber hilt was a smooth Gray color with little vents that emitted pink light through them. Xytan really liked her design, it was truly an amazing lightsaber hilt.

She was being watched through the whole process to ensure that she didn't mess up. Viola smiled and raised the lightsaber into the air and ignited it. A pink plasma beam shot out, as you would expect.

Many Younglings did the same thing before her when they completed their lightsabers. They were usually green, blue, and some yellow colors here and there.

Viola turned to Jin and saw that he had completed his first lightsaber, and was now working on his second one. Afterward, she turned to Xytan, who had already started focusing on his lightsaber again.

It wasn't easy to create and fit his type of Pearl into a lightsaber hilt.

Jin moved pretty fast, he already knew the layout of his saber after making the first one. He wanted to make both of them look and feel the same, it only made sense, after all.

Jin's hilt was all silver. No one would be able to tell what material anyone used for their sabers if they didn't get a closer look. Jin had two polished silver stripes passing over his hilt, that made them look like white silver. He had Katana guard on his lightsaber, in fact, it looked like a Katana lightsaber.

Once he had completed his lightsabers, he lifted them both up simultaneously and ignited them.

Jin wanted to laugh out loud, but he would have to rejoice later. Viola gave him a thumbs up for his success, she leaned over to look at his design and nodded in approval.

Xytan's hilt color was black, polished Gray, and a bit of silver. There was a sharp-bladed edge, just under where the emitter was—protruding out and upward. The sharp protruding blade had three circular rings going through it.

Xytan added this just in case he wanted to hit someone with his lightsaber. This would cause severe damage or even decapitation to their face or other places.

It took Xytan a bit longer to complete his but he was finally done. With a smile of content, he did the same thing as everyone else by raising his lightsaber and igniting it.

Viola started clapping fast but silently after seeing him complete his lightsaber. Jin waved his fist around his way, as to congratulate him.

Viola finally unwrapped the chocolate bar and decided to take a bite of it. She was shocked by the amazing taste, could anything taste this good?! Viola took another bite and another bite—until it was all gone.

'It was so good!' Viola yearned for more, it had so many flavors to it! So sweet and so...

Xytan looked over and saw that she had just got done eating the Snickers. Her expression was constantly changing, he already knew she wanted more. Xytan knew he had a chance to grow extremely rich with these types of candy bars from his world.

"Xytan, do you have any more of those tasty rectangle things?" Viola scooched over toward Xytan and asked hopefully.

"Yeah, and you'll get to taste many good things later. I have a few other tasty treats in my room, but you can't tell anyone." Xytan whispered into her cone-shaped ears.

Viola's eyes flashed untold anticipation.

Eventually, everyone's lightsabers were completed. They started showing off their designs to their peers, which was typical for their age.

Shaak Ti looked over the Younglings lightsabers, not one had failed or put themselves at risk on their first attempt. Of course, Shaak Ti made sure to look over Xytan's hilt, and she saw that his looked fairly deadly.

Her eyebrows rose with question.

"He actually made a Crossguard lightsaber?" Xytan gazed at Ven's lightsaber and saw that this was his design. This lightsaber design wasn't out of the ordinary, but how did he know about it?

Xytan would have to ask him about that later.

"Everyone, raise your sabers and ignite them!" Shaak Ti said with a smile.

Everyone laughed in excitement and raised their sabers and ignited them.

Blue, Green, Yellow, Viola's Pink, and Xytan's Purple appeared.

Shaak Ti and Vorden(Ageless) were stunned. They had looked in the box before, but they didn't see these colors. They also noticed how thick and seemingly strong Xytan's plasma beam was.

Ven was using a Green Kyber crystal once Xytan look to see.

Shaak Ti and the other Masters congratulated everyone, then dismissed them after a little speech. Shaak Ti wanted to call Xytan over but one of the Masters said that the Green Jedi were contacting them.

The Younglings left, they wanted to test their new sabers out on the Training B-1 Droids. Jin and Ven were no different, they ran to battle against them as well. Sha Koon was in charge of this, so she set everything up for them.

Meanwhile, Xytan and Viola went to his room.

"Where are the rectangle sweets at? I want more of those, they're so good!" Viola seemed anxious to eat more of those candy bars.

"Haha, over here, I made them myself." Xytan signaled her over and showed her a hidden stash of sweet goodies from his original world.

Reese, Snickers, Twix, and many more, she recognized the Snickers right away and reached for it.

"You've hidden all of these tasty things away from me, why didn't you tell me?" Viola was eating and complaining at the same time.

"Because they were too good to tell anyone for the time." It was a bad excuse, but it was all he had to offer.

"Mhm!" Viola's eyes formed into the shape of a crescent as she was chewing, she didn't seem to buy what Xytan was saying.

'This little brat is getting sharper!' Black lines appeared on Xytan's forehead and he turned away.

"And thank you again for the crystal, I love it so much!" Viola continued after something else came to her thoughts, "You know, I never asked this, but about those Mandalorians and Spartans. I was wondering why they listen to you so much?"

Viola noticed this when they were escaping back then and when they were on the that Lich.
