5 Chapter 5: Great Views

I woke up the next morning next to a small pile of ash still letting out a small amount of smoke. I remembered everything that had happen yesterday and started to think about what I should do, the Naboo invasion is 1 year away.

'Should I get involved at all?' I wondered. 'If I don't the republic will fall and the galaxy will be a thousand times for dangerous'

I stood up and looked towards the forest "Ok I have some money thanks to levelling up and my beginners kit, I think I first need to gather more information and then train. First I need to make my way to Theed" I started to look around and wonder which way Theed is.

'Ding!'

[Quest - Find your way to the city of Theed - Reward: 50.000 Credits and Don't have to sleep in the forest again. Failure: Sleep in the forest for another night]

"Hmmm so this is a quests? do I get them randomly or do I set these goals myself?"

I quickly looked at the other skill I received yesterday and selected it in my inventory.

'Ding!'

[New Skill Learned - Force Telekinesis - Lv 1]

[Force Telekinesis - Telekinesis, abbreviated to TK, is a neutral ability that most Force-sensitives have which allows them to move and otherwise manipulate physical matter in a variety of ways, all with the power of the Force.] {BTW I am grabbing these off the star wars fandom page to keep them as close to the real abilities as possible}

"Right let start small" Looking around I noticed some small pebbles along the way. "Ok that shouldn't be too difficult to move." I sat down and crossed my legs, extending my hand towards the pebbles, I started to concentrate but they weren't budging.

'How come they won't move?' I had all the info on the skill and I was activating the skill but something was wrong. Then a quote came to mind 'Imagination is more important than knowledge' imagining the pebble weighted nothing at all, remembering when Yoda was training Luke he was able to life a x-wing like it was nothing, I started to let go of my preconceptions of the universe, no laws were in place anything was possible, a few start to shake and slowly raise into the air until they are floating in a circle around my hand.

"Ok, now if I can get up higher I can take a look around" I looked up at the high branches above me. I wanted to fly up but due to the denseness of the trees, the amount of Sharpe looking branches poking out and the size of my wings I decided against it. I quickly tried to connect myself to the force, directing it towards my legs before jumping towards the nearest branch.

Due to having zero control I slammed head first into the first branch before falling back down to the ground with a loud thumping sound.

"Ohhh that hurt.. although not as much as I thought it would" I stood back up.

'Ding!'

[New Skill Learned - Force Jump - Lv1]

[Force Jump - Force Jump, also known as Force Leap, uses the Force to augment the user's natural leaping ability. Force-users adept in this technique can perform awe-inspiring vertical/horizontal leaps with impunity.]

"Status" I wondered how much damage falling from that height had caused.

Name: James Silver

Species: Hybrid (Human/Diathim)

Title: The Gamer / Machine Master

Level: 3

HP: 296/300

FP: 2950/3000

'so I as long as I have HP left I should be ok' I thought. I can't be reckless otherwise its gamer over for me. At this level I can still be easily killed.

I looked up again at the branches a took a deep breath. "Okay focus" I focused my powers on my legs again and jumped. Perhaps because I now had the skill I adapted much faster and landed gently on the branch I aimed at, repeating the process a few times I reached the top of the tree.

As I looked on the horizon I could see a stunning view of a huge city on the edge of a cliff, a massive waterfall and canyon. 'Magnificent' with that thought in mind I mark the direction in my mind and jump down from the top of the tree.

I started to walk in the direction of the city, I gathered some small stones with TK for training and quickly looked at the system store menu. I know that the star wars universe is a dangerous one so I needed to have a weapon to defend myself, unfortunately the Lightsabers shown were all locked down, I could only buy basic supplies. I ended up buying a Heavy baster for 20.000, it looked rather similar to Han Solo's which may or may not have influenced in my purchase. {It did. It so did haha}

I aimed my new pistol at a nearby rock and took a few shots. The rock was then left with a large crack and a few scorch marks to match.

'Ding!'

[New Skill Learned - Pistol Mastery - Lv 1]

[Pistol Mastery - The pistol is a common weapon used by both military personnel and civilians. It comes in a variety of shapes, sizes, and capabilities. Some were augmented for other functions, such as ascension guns that fired grappling hooks and cables.]

As my outfit didn't have a holster, I quickly store the pistol in my inventory,

After walking for 2 hours I could see portions of the city coming in to view. I let down the 6 large boulders that I had been taking along with me to train my TK. Activating my Mechu-deru skill, I could sense the machines and electrical equipment in the city. Huge amounts of sensory information flooded in to my mind, which caused a slight headache to start with but thanks to my high cognitive ability I was able to sort through the information quickly.

I continued towards the city gates. As I got closer I saw inhabitants walking in and out of the city, most of them looked human, which makes me slightly relieved. Not that I feared alien's. I knew from the movies that the aliens here were peaceful, I still come from a world where we were still wondering if alien life even existed.

'This may take some getting used to' I thought to myself.
