[Halthor Sector, Halthor System, Halthor]

(3rd Person: POV)

Using his lightsabers Van deflected blaster fire directed at him from all sides.

Sending most of them right back at those firing at him, using their own shots to kill them.

While with other shots Van simply dodged using the smallest of movements.

So in no time at all he had whittled down the enemies forces to only a dozen in number.

Upon noticing this those remaining alive started to experience panic and fear.

"Damn, what the hell is this guy?!"

"He's a Jedi you moron!"

"Fuck, he's the real deal isn't he? Dammit!"

"Shut up all of you!" The commander of the forces shouted at the top of his lungs. "So what if he's a Jedi, it doesn't make him invincible. So quite your whining and end this kr-"

Before the command could finish speaking Van used A Force leap to reach his position, and then used his white-bladed lightsaber to cut off the man's head without any hesitation.

Then before the commanders head even hit the ground Van had turned around to face the remaining enemies.

"Hear me. Surrender now, or die. The choice is yours. I will not ask again." Van explained.

Then a few seconds later he got an answer to his ultimatum.

The remaining enemies dropped their weapons and then held their hands up in surrender.

Though right after they did so the entrance to the AA encampment blew up and several GSA soldiers ran in, their weapons primed and at the ready.

"Colonel, major Alenko sent us to assist you...." The soldier in charge trailed off. After taking a few seconds to examine the situation in front of him.

"I thank you sergeant, but as you can see I have basically everything under control here." Van spoke. "Though I do need you to secure these prisoners and this AA gun encampment."

"Yes, colonel." The sergeant replied.

"Very good." Van said. "Well then if you'll excuse me there are forces I need to get to commanding." He spoke.

Van then quickly left the AA gun encampment, stunning everyone who remained.

"So that's a Jedi huh. Cool." One of the GSA soldiers spoke.

"No, he's not a Jedi but a Jedaii. Get is right my friend." A female soldier spoke.

Her fellow soldier simply nodding his head in response.

Making sure he would remember Van was a Jedaii and not a Jedi.

Exactly as the man wanted it.

(Van: POV)

Standing in a temporary base camp my forces had managed to set up, I stood inside a large with major Alenko and several senior officers under my command.

All of us surrounding a holotable, that is currently displaying a holographic image of Halthor and the current status of our and the enemies forces.

Over two weeks have passed since we began our military campaign to liberate the planet, and from what I am seeing from the holographic display in front of me it looks like our operation is progressing smoothly.

Though to get a full and clear picture of our operational status I called for this meeting.

"Status report." I spoke.

"Colonel, we've secured over 60% of the planet thus far." One of the senior officers spoke.

"Excellent. And what are our casualty rates thus far?" I spoke. Since I hadn't heard a number of how many of our own had died yet.

"They are actually quite small colonel Sunrider." Another senior officer spoke up.

"Good." I said. "Let's make sure it stays that way. Keep those under your direct command on their toes." I spoke.

The senior officers in the tent acknowledging my words in various forms.

"Now then, does anyone know the current status of Jcebi?" I asked.

Since major Alenko informed me that shortly after our forces landed on the planet and we began our liberation campaign the Rodian had managed to slip away. Thus we've been searching for that bastard ever since.

For he is still on the planet, of that I am sure.

Not only because the Force is telling me so, but because our forces control the air space both in and out of orbit. So there is no way Jcebi could've slipped off world without us knowing.

But on the off chance he has it would be no big loss.

Still, I would like, no I need confirmation of this. If only to give myself, and the people Jcebi has been ruling over for years some peace of mind.

"Still nothing as of yet colonel. But worry not, we are searching with haste and given how well our liberation is progressing Jcebi won't be able to hide for much longer." Alenko spoke.

"Thank you for that Major." I replied. "Dismissed!" I exclaimed.

When I did all of the senior officers saluted me and then exited the tent, save for Alenko.

"Something on your mind major?" I asked him.

"Well colonel, now that the meeting is over you are going to get and get some rest right?" He asked.

"Yes." I replied.

Doing my best not to look embarrassed.

Since the truth is ever since this campaign began I've been pushing myself. Using the Force to sustain me instead of resting when I could've have. A trend Alenko noticed and has called me out on.

But that's what I asked him to do, so I have no complaints.

"Good." Alenko said. "Well then enjoy. We'll inform you if anything major happens."

"Right." I replied.

I then left the tent and headed to my own personal makeshift quarters.

After arriving I stripped down out of my armor, cleaned myself up, ate a small snack, andt then lied down on a makeshift bed.

Where I was heading off to dreamland before I knew it.
