44 Onderon

The ship carried Khan to Prometheus's hangar. Inside, the factory of the ship was running at full power and droids constantly carried parts out.

The ship landed and Habitat was already there waiting for him. The hatch opened and Khan jumped out holding Amora in his arms.

"What's your plan for her? Give her a cybernetic brain?" Habitat glanced at the Togruta before turning to Khan.

Khan brushed his finger across her cheek and smiled. "Of course not, why would I repeat the same experiment when I already know it was successful? I don't want to create another Natasha. I already have plenty of force-sensitives for my experiments but this is my first Togruta and Jedi."

In reality, he refused to give Habitat access to the force. While he had every fail-safe in place to stop her from betraying, he refused to risk his greatest creation going out of his control. Habitat was already perfect and still had room to grow.

At least until he improved his own body with cybernetics and gained even more control over her systems. He already planned to give himself a cybernetic brain after bonding with the nanofluid. The research on the Cereans had already proved its usefulness.

His eyes flashed and his fingers ran down her neck. "No, I find it far more interesting to try and turn her to the dark side using my abilities when I return."

While they spoke, the spider bots left the A-wing to get supplies and started repairing the damage they caused.

He carried Amora and brought her to his lab with Habitat following behind. He found an empty bed and hooked her up to the machines after stripping off her clothing and armor. Besides the Cereans, there were a few male Ysanna Habitat brought to the lab. He had already started running a few experiments remotely.

Khan placed his hand on her forehead and began extracting her memories. Images of her life as a youngling and being taken as a Padawan flashed into his mind. Her time training under Master Nictar and finally being sent on this mission.

"It seems like the movement here was a bit big. Maybe we should slow down until I can hide this planet." Khan fell into thought but finally shook his head. It didn't matter, they wouldn't be making any more big waves in a while.

He looked at her body and started running his hand along her flesh. He cupped her breast and felt the valley between her legs. His fingers slid inside and he imprinted every inch of her body to memory.

He removed his hands and took a step back. He took off all of his clothing and closed his eyes. His body started to squirm and his form changed. Horns grew from his head and his skin turned blue. His lekku grew and his chest expanded.

He shifted into an exact replica of Amora. He took her clothes and put them on, further rubbing her smell onto himself. Finally, he took her lightsaber and clipped it to his waist.

He picked up his old clothing and lightsaber and handed them to a droid. "Take these to my room."

The droid took the clothes and left. Habitat watched all this and smiled. "So this is your plan, you want to sneak into the Republic?"

"Onderon is too far into Republic space. This is the easiest way I can think of." Khan perfectly mimicked Amora's voice.

"Get me a box to contain living creatures, I'm heading straight for Onderon." Khan took one final glance at Amora before turning to leave.

Habitat followed him back to the A-wing where a droid was waiting with a box.

Khan held out his hand and his small personal drone flew to his hand; The same one he's had since Rattatak. He placed it in his pocket before jumping into the A-wing.

He put the box on the floor between his legs and turned to Habitat. "Inform Belia when she finishes her training. I might be gone for a while this time, it's up to you to protect everyone."

"It seems like your plans are big? Are you going for more than just the Holocron?" She looked a bit curious. Khan could always exceed her expectations because he somehow knew things that should be impossible for him to know.

"I'm Amora now, a soon-to-be Jedi Knight." His smile grew. "That means I can take on a Padawan learner."

Khan flipped a switch and the hatch closed. Grabbing the controls he took off and flew out of the hangar.

He glanced back after he put some distance between himself and Ossus. He looked at the comms and fell into thought. "This should be good enough."

He shook his head and sent a comms request back to the Republic capital ship. It didn't take long before a hologram of Master Nictar to appear.

"My apprentice, did you find anything?" He got straight to the point. He seemed to be in a hurry and a little flustered.

Khan could see the stress on his face, he knew through Lon that the battle over King's Galquek was ramping up and the ground raids had become fierce.

"Yes, Master." Khan copied her tone of speech perfectly. "I found a transport ship trying to find a hyperspace route from Sith space through the Cron cluster. It seemed like they wanted to bypass our blockade of the Perlemian Trade Route."

"They want to sneak behind us? Is it to attack the inner rim or ambush our forces?" He fell into thought after hearing Khan's report.

"I was able to destroy the transport, it couldn't jump to hyperspace to run from me in this part of space. This should send a message that we're on to their plans." He added when he saw the Master thinking.

"Yes, mapping out a new hyperspace route is difficult. We should keep a closer eye on the minor lanes in case they try to use those." He nodded in agreement with his Padawan's statement.

"You should come back, it's dangerous being out that far with just an A-wing if the Sith are making moves."

"Master wait!" Khan stopped him when he noticed Nictar was about to cut the transmission.

"Yes, apprentice?" He gave Khan an inquisitive look.

"Did you forget? You said I'd be promoted to Jedi Knight after this mission." He put on a shocked expression to pretend like he was hurt.

"Haa." Nictar shook his head and sighed. "Are you that eager to be free of me young Padawan?" He smiled slightly.

"Then as your Master, and a member of the Jedi High Council, I promote you to the rank of Jedi Knight."

"Thank you, Master." Khan smiled and bowed his head slightly.

"Are you going to return to the battlefield or return to Coruscant for another assignment?" Now that she was no longer under him, he decided to ask Amora about her next plans.

Khan shook his head. "I will return to the battlefield, but not now. I feel something reaching out to me through the force ever since I came out here. It seems to be calling me."

Master Nictar nodded in understanding. "Go, I will wait for your return. We could use your help on the ground. We've already sent a few more Knights to support Master Aulat."

"Yes, Master" Khan turned off the comms and smiled. "Onderon here I come."

He pushed down the controls and the ship shot out. In order to avoid the battlefield, he's flying galactic south and taking the long way around. It may add a few days to his trip but it was worth it.

"Now the real problem is how to transport the Orbalisks back to Ossus." He shook his head and put it to the back of his mind for now, he'd have to figure it out later.

For sixteen days, he flew south until he arrived at a known hyperlane and jumped to onderon. A lot of the hyperlane junctions were guarded by Jedi and Republic space stations, showing just how much power the Jedi controlled during this time period.

Because of his status, he was able to travel unimpeded.

During this time, his personal drone projected a hologram for him to read books from the library. He spent the whole time enriching his knowledge and meditating.

When he arrived above Onderon, he looked at the vibrant green jungle planet. He knew the jungles were filled with fierce beasts and the riders who tamed them. While most of the planet's population lived behind the walls of Iziz, they chose to live outside to avoid the reach of the law.

Khan's eyes only stayed on Onderon for a moment. Instead, he turned to the nearby moon named Dxun. Its dense jungles made Onderon look like child's play.

The moon and planet were so close their atmospheres could connect together during certain times of the year. This allowed the fiercest creatures who inhabited the moon to fly to Onderon.

Khan flew the ship towards Dxun, he could already feel a strong dark side presence radiating from the moon.

He flew over the jungles and could see beasts as large as trucks knocking against the trees when they saw him. Flying beasts came after him but were too slow to catch up.

Just when he thought the beasts were just like that, a shadow darted from between the trees. The A-wing rotated the moment he sensed it and he was able to dodge the attacker, but that was just the beginning.

More purple beasts flew from the trees and swarmed around him. He tried his best to dodge, but there were too many. The ship crashed into the chest of one of the creatures and dramatically decreased its speed.

The lizard-like creature had purple scaly skin and was extremely muscular. Even taking an A-wing to the chest couldn't completely cut the creature in half.

Its wingspan was over fifteen meters long and its muscular chest extended to a long scorpion-like tail. To make it look even more vicious, it had a pincer-like mouth the size of an adult's arm and limbs equipped with razor-sharp claws.

Everything about this creature was designed to kill.

The Drexl slowed down the speed of his ship enough that another was able to fly next to him. The Drexl's tail spike swung upwards and clashed with the wing of his ship.

While it didn't penetrate through completely, it still bore a hole in the armor.

Khan spun the controls and flung the Drexl off his ship. He opened fire and cleared a path in front of him. Just when he was about to speed up, another attack came and hit one of his thrusters.

The ship shot forward but his left thruster exploded into flames. Khan glanced backward and saw the flames. His beautiful face fell and his chest rose up and down in anger.

He placed his hand on his chest and ignored the soft touch; Instead, he focused on the section of pulsating flesh inside and focused his anger. It felt like his body was on fire, boiling from the inside out.

The fire sputtered out and turned into a trail of smoke before eventually going out completely.

"Distracted for a second and my ship was damaged, but controlling fire requires too much raw emotion" His feminine voice was full of frost. If not for the Holocron waiting for him, he'd go back and slaughter them all.
