Chapter thirteen:

It was night as everyone was, asleep. All except for two, Rey Skywalker and her apprentice Cale Lestin.

Rey sat on the sandy beach. Watching the wave's crash against each other in the night sky. It was beautiful to say the least. This is something Rey hasn't really seen or took the chance to admire. But now, she wished she had done it sooner. It was peaceful.

Rey heard footsteps behind her and turned around to find her apprentice Cale Lestin walking towards her.

Enjoying the view? Cale asked his Master. Rey nodded, still astonished by the setting. Then, she looked at Cale who looked almost heroic as he looked into the wind. This is why Rey loved him. He was smart, kind and chivalrous. But he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty for the one's that he loved. His body language practically spoke power. Most of all, was that he had a heart. Something rare these days. It was a heart that Rey Skywalker wanted to protect from the cruel galaxy. A heart that melted her own heart everyday. A heart that she wanted and craved.

Cale Lestin looked at his Master Rey Skywalker and decided that tonight was the night. He was going to tell Rey how he felt. Of course, he never forgot about the Jedi code. But Asoka Tano told him that he had to move on and give it a shot. Besides he had strong feelings for Rey already. He just didn't know how to put it into words. Cale sat down next to Rey in a huff.

Rey... there's something I need to confess to you, Cale said. Rey grew a confused yet understanding and comforting face. As she looked at her apprentice.

I'm so proud of what you guys did. Cale told Rey.

Oh thank you I- Rey replied while looking at her apprentice.

Keep up the good work, Cale said.

Cale Lestin stood up and for a moment walked away... before looking back at Rey and sighing. He had to confess now. If not he might not get the chance later. Walking to her and sitting back down, much to her confusion, he decided to just spill it out.

Rey... I've been in love with you for quite some time now. Your charm, your smile, your beauty all of it just pulls me towards you... your not a push over and your more than just my Master. I just want to ask... would you like to try this out? Be my girlfriend? Cale asked Rey.

Rey just sat there for a minute stunned by her apprentice's word's. First Cale screamed at her about her doing a good job for training him, then he walks away, now he comes back and confessed his love to her.

Is this common?

But once her head wrapped around what Cale said she gasped and looked at Cale with tearful eyes.

Yes... Rey replied to his question, with a huge smile on her face.
