9 (The Grey Jedi.)

Chapter nine:

Cale still stood on his ship twirling his blue lightsaber in hand while people watched as tension filled the air.

Listen asswipe, are we gonna fight or not because I have better shit to do than stand here all day and wait for the likes of you. Said Cale Lestin.

Kylo slowly walked to the front of the Gorilla walker, now furious.

I want... every gun to fire on those two men. Replied Kylo Ren.

The Gorilla walker's aimed their thrusters at the Scarlet Speedster and Luke. Then, one walker fired at Luke while another fired at Cale Lestin however it froze. Cale was holding out his outstretched hand. Amazed, the Resistance cheered as seeing Cale's power gave them hope of a better future.

More, said Kylo as all the blasters fired at the Scarlet Speedster, but none landed.

More! Yelled out Kylo Ren.

The walkers intensified their speed as they fired at the ship and slow firing at Luke Skywalker.

More!!! Kylo Ren yelled out once.

Firing the best they can the Resistance sat in shock as all the blast fires stood in front of Cale Lestin as if there was a barrier surrounding the ship. They could see Cale Lestin still smiling. Cale started to use his other hand to move the lasers in a bunch.

Now!! Said Cale Lestin.

The Millennium Falcon and the Scarlet Speedster flew straight at the distracted First Order ship's in the air and shot some of them down. All but Kylo Ren's.

While Cale was waiting for the right moment he looked at his old mentor and friend Luke Skywalker. Something was off about him. But what was it? Then, Cale noticed that there were no footprint's. Luke Skywalker was using a Force Projection. He'll die. And Cale wasn't going to have him die like this.

Cale turned to Asoka Tano who was in the ship keeping it steady with Phoebe. Asoka was pregnant, so nobody wanted to put her on any dangerous missions even if she did argue with them. Phoebe was honest and said she did not want to get in this fight.

Asoka!! Cale called out to her.

Yes Cale? Asoka Tano questioned him. I need you to find Luke Skywalker. Replied Cale. Why would I do that he's standing right there. Asoka said as she chuckled.

It's a Force Projection. Cale told Asoka. Asoka Tano squinted her eyes before gasping and realizing the dire situation. Before nodding and getting the ship ready. Asoka Tano had an oath to the Skywalker bloodline after Anakin Skywalker's fall to the dark side and he bacame Darth Vader. She felt responsible. She was going to break that oath now.

Asoka Tano slowly landed the ship catching everyone's attention as Cale jumped off from the top. Still having his hands out holding the laser blasters and having ignited another blue lightsaber. Asoka Tano and Phoebe flew away in lightspeed confusing the Resistance. They needed help and they're just going to leave?

Back with Cale he was watching the dogfight in front of him. The Faclon shot down a Tie Fighter but two more ganged up on it. Luckily, some thruster guns from the sides got them good. He wondered who was using those?

Anyway, Cale needed a perfect shot at the perfect time or this wouldn't work. There was one Tie Fighter left and, obviously the pods blew it to bits. With another thought Cale looked to see the First Order distracted.

Without wasting any more time Cale fired some of the lasers at one of the Walker's. With just three to the head it blew up and fell to the ground. Before the First Order could think Cale sprayed all of the lasers at every walker standing. One by one they fell like dominos each explosion bigger than the next. The Resistance cheered loudly as the destruction was witnessed first hand. They laughed smiled and clapped. Hope was returning once again. Once there weren't any more lasers Cale realized one more walker was standing. It fired but Cale used the Force to catch the blast. Shocking everyone watching, Cale threw it at the Walker's face destroying it. Now the only thing that stood was Kylo's personal ship that was holding him, General Hux and some First Order officers.

Luke Skywalker sat there and watched with amazement however he didn't know that a serperate mission was in process for him.

Back with Cale Lestin he rested for a bit. He hasn't used the Force in years and he goes all out today. It was unhealthy. Cale then looked at the hovering ship in the sky.

Cale smiled. He had dreamt of this moment for a very very long time. A chance to get revenge on Kylo Ren for betraying him and his friends and his Master Rey Skywalker. To finish what they had started. To continue the fight of the century.
