7 Ch.6 Setting the Foundations

Zelon smiled as he observed the warriors kneeling before him. Even without ever interacting with the Force, Zelon could sense these elves had a great talent and connection to the Force.

If trained properly, they would be worthy of being his elite guard. However, he would have to find another teacher for them and himself.

While Northor was helpful in the beginning stages, he only knew the basics. Any special ways of utilizing the Force were useless to him, a living breathing planet.

Zelon had an idea for a person who could be a great teacher; he would just need to figure out a way to get to them.

"Everyone rise, I am happy that you have come I will be needing your strength. One man alone can not manage the reins of an empire, especially not a galactic one."

The Silvan elves all stood straight, giving Zelon a chance to look at them. The elves weren't that bad looking, at least not as over the top as some fantasy worlds make them out to be.

"Can you each introduce yourselves to me; we still have a while before the others join us?"

The first of the males walked forward and made a salute, placing his right hand on his chest.

"I am Morfindor son of Morfingel, an elf of the Woodland Realms."

"I am honored to have you son of Morfingel."

Next, 2 elves stepped forward and made the same salute Morfindor gave.

"My liege I am Sirdaer at your service and this is my brother."

Sirdaer placed his hand on the other elf's shoulder.

"I am Fanion at your service as well my lord."

Both elves bowed and moved back into the line.

The last three male elves introduced themselves as Horthedir, Revion, and Gadron.

Now it was the women's turns to introduce themselves. The first female elf walked forward and saluted to Zelon.

"I am honored to meet you my lord, I am Nauthrien a guard of the Mirkwood Forest here to serve you."

Hearing the name Mirkwood, a memory began to surface in his mind. He remembers watching Lord of the Rings The Hobbit, the scene of a great forest covered in spider webs. The image of the king of Mirkwood Thranduil, the father of Legolas sitting upon his wooden throne brought back memories.

Zelon smiled at Nauthrien, he knew of the talents and skills the elves of those woods possess.

"I know of your realm lady Nauthrien; King Thranduil is a great king and warrior as well as his son Legolas. I expect you to uphold the honor of your brothers and sisters in the Mirkwood."

Nauthrien bowed then returned to the line.

The next woman walked forward and saluted Zelon.

"It's nice to meet you my lord, my name is Ninnien."

When Zelon looked upon Ninnien, her face reminded him of someone, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

"Do you by any chance have any siblings?"

Ninnien's eyes raised, surprised by Zelon's response.

"Yes, indeed I do my lord. I have a sister named Tauriel, she is the captain of the guards in the Woodland Realms."

Like a lightbulb finally getting power; his mind started to work again. The image of Tauriel the mighty elf woman from the Hobbit movie, fighting orcs, killing them left and right with ease played in his head.

"Yes, yes, you look just like her are you perhaps twins?"

"Yes we are my lord."

"Wonderful, your sister is a great warrior, no average man or elf can best her in combat. I expect nothing less from you as well."

Ninnien smiled before bowing and moving back to the line.

The last 2 ladies introduced themselves as Calemiriel and Laineth.

Zelon was happy with these 10 elves, a lot of them held great backgrounds from the world they originated from. As the introductions finished, many countless light orbs began to appear behind the group.

Many figures began to take shape, some small, some tall, a few on the fat side; all of them fully clothed and equipped with axes, hammers, swords, and bows. Countless dwarves and elves began to appear in front of Zelon kneeling to him like the first 10 did before.

Everyone rise I am happy you are here, there is so much that we have to do but first, let me introduce myself to you all.

"I am Zelon Virqaza, your new lord and creator."

"I have been entrusted with a great task; one to create an empire that reaches far throughout this galaxy."

The elves and dwarves looked upon Zelon with respect and pride. To them, Zelon was a bright light in the darkness, his presence was noble and kingly.

"In the coming future, great wars shall be fought and much destruction will come to many worlds."

"I ask you great elves, keepers and guardians of nature. Mighty dwarves, masters of stone and crafts. I ask that you lend me your strength to protect nature and the planets of this universe?!"

Zelon with his small child body made a small bow to this large group of people, trying to inspire loyalty and passion.

After all the greetings were out of the way, Zelon got down to business distributing some basic plans.

Zelon asked Northor to bring them a table and some writing utensils. When the items got there he called for all the dwarves to listen

"First, I would like the dwarves to build fortifications around Tiamat's Hearthtree."

"Make enough space to build dormitories for the current amount of people we have now; also the dormitories should be able to easily be increased for any future comrades."

"We will also need a storage room, I suggest we build them under ground, does anyone have any suggestions?"

A small dwarf with a grey beard stepped forward.

"My lord we will need stone and minerals to make anything worth using to create fortifications and support beams to hold the underground area from collapses."

"Hmm, okay I will put you in charge of the dwarf craftsmen for now, take all the dwarves except for the dwarves of Nidavellir. Speak with Northor he should be able to point you in the direction of any nearby mineral veins in the area."

"Begin mining any resources you can gather then begin construction of the basic fortifications."

The dwarf bowed then gathered 50 dwarves to take with him, they walked over to Northor, who was still guiding Tielia.

The last group of dwarfs walked forward in front of Zelon, ready for instructions.

"Master dwarves of Nidavellir?!"

"Yes my lord!"

A taller dwarf than the rest answered for the group, stepping forward to take charge.

"Master dwarfs I know of your world and the great crafts of the gods you've made. This world does not possess gods of any sort or magic of your kind."

"However, there is a sort of power in this world that should suffice. I hope that you dwarves can study the Force and apply your knowledge of runes and craftsmanship, unto weapons and future ships that we will build in the coming future."

"It would be our honor, my lord."

"Great, I will place you with the Silvan elves who will train in the force with Northor later."

After getting the dwarfs some basic tasks to do, Zelon gathered the remaining elves. He begin tasking some with foraging for food, whether it be fruit or animals. The rest would scout around the forest to watch for anyone who might stumble upon their little gathering in the woods.

Once everyone was given a task, Zelon decided it was time to go home. He was still a kid, he didn't want his parents to freak out if both of their kids vanished in the middle of the night.

He walked over to Northor and interrupted Tielia's training.

"Tielia and me must get back home, we can finish her training later. While I am away I would like you to also train this group of elves and dwarves in the basic uses of the force."

Zelon pointed to the group of 30 people standing nearby.

Northor nodded then woke Tielia up.

When Tielia opened her eyes, she saw countless tall and short people walking around.

"Big brother who are all of these people?"

"They are my friends, but enough of them we need to get home."

As Zelon and Tielia were beginning to walk back, Northor stopped them.

"Wait, I will give Tielia something to block the Jedi from noticing she is force sensitive. He will definitely come to your home to test her midichlorian count."

Northor made a cut on his arm then, lifted the green essence flowing out of his wooden figure to Tielia. The essence touched her forehead then melded with her skin entering into her blood stream.

"This is what you would consider my blood, it should be able to camouflage her from any prying eyes or devices temporarily. Other than that it won't cause any problems to her health.

Zelon nodded and thanked Northor before taking his sister back to their house.
