7 Chapter 7: Choosing the Color of the Blade. (Time Skip of Three Years)

It had been three years since the first time J'onn had stepped onto this hill in Jundland waste and began his training and as on many other days before hand he was getting his butt kicked in a sparring session with his teacher the renowned Jedi Ben Kenobi. It was a pain that had driven the young Jedi to push himself to be better even though he had many other responsibilities but he had progressed far enough to move at what Ben called a safe pace with a lightsaber as well as adding force moves to his sequences to keep the older man on his toes for in such a short time he had learned so much as well as remembered much of the past knowledge he had from a previous life.

"Good that's long enough you've come a long way your skills are above survivable now the last part of your training has come." Said Ben after calling their sparring session J'onn asked " What's the last part of my training I thought there would be more to learn I mean it's only been three years shouldn't this take more time?" Ben looked at young man before him and knew that the boy had come far enough for him to end his training at least with him and that the world would be a better learning place for all the knowledge and skills he had taught him so he replied " the galaxy will be your teacher and it has much to teach you also I fear that soon we will have unwanted attention drawn to us if we continue as we have that is why today you will complete the last part of your training with me as every Jedi Padawan has before you. You will construct a Lightsaber of your own design and some these times are hard I have gathered all the materials for you now follow me to my home."

On the way to Ben's hut J'onn heard the sound of banthas and Sand people which made him alert only to be surprised at how close the old Jedi's dwelling place was once inside Ben offered him a drink and a spot to sit and then pulled out a tool box and cloth holding a huge object " all the components to build your lightsaber are here also I'll be here to guide you every step of the way also you lucked out I found a kyber crystal in the markets of mois eisley apparently the shop owner didnt know what he had so he sold it to me for a cheap price all you have to do is to tune it to yourself and the blade will chose its color from that, now are you ready to begin?" J'onn quickly nodded his head and responded with a resounding "yes."

J'onn had read and listened to Ben as he explained what piece did what and where it went to piece the blade together as he began to put it together it took a whole three hours but it it had to be precise and Ben made sure that everything was in its proper place. The only thing Ben left unsupervised was J'onns bonding to the kyber crystal and that process even took longer and when it was said and done J'onn was burnt out physically but he forged ahead and put the crystal in its place and then close that part of the hilt and then bonded himself in the force to his saber.

Once the process was over both Ben Kenobi and J'onn Cloud looked at each other with eyes full of excitement and expectation finally J'onn keyed the ignition switch for his blade and what came forth surprised both men the blade was aqua marine blue in color and its owner knew that the force had chosen well during the bonding.

A few hours later Ben and J'onn discussed what should be the plan for him following his departure for Ben had told him that it was better for him to leave once his training was over or to risk exposure. Ben did recommend that before he leave he should test his lightsaber for a full week to make sure that nothing was wrong as well to get his blade skills to the point where if he was facing another duelist he would be more than enough of a match.

So the two men left each other in agreement J'onn was to leave Tattoine after the week was done, he planned to find the rebel alliance and locate as many force sensitives as he could and train them up. J'onns plan was to go to Alderaan and speak to Bale Organa and become friendly with his daughter Leia from there he would try and culminate her abilities to a point but not fully till after she was captured.
