Chapter 4

Grievous shuttle landed in the hanger of the Providence that was leading the fleet and was welcomed by it's Neimodian commander. The Neimodian quickly walked up to Grievous and said "Welcom General. I hope your flight has been pleasent" "Are your ships prepared for battle?" Grievous completly ignored the commanders question which caused him to frown "Yes, they will move out at your command". Grievous however was focused at the notification that he got when he entered the ship.

[Quest triggerd: The Battle of Hypori. Grade(D)]

[Destroy the fleet orbiting the planet and kill at least one of the Jedis yourself. You will get a bonus for every Jedi you kill after fullfilling the mission requirement]

[Reward: 20.000 System points, 150.000 Credits, Army Function unlocked, +15 Fame if the republic hears from this, random Droid blueprint(D-A)]

Seeing the rewards for this mission Grievous couldn't help but become a bit excited. He calmed himself and focused on the mission again "Bring me to the Bridge" "Of course, General".

When Grievous enterd the Bridge he saw the hologramm of a Republic fleet hovering in the air "Is that our target?" "Yes General" answerd one of the B1-Droids that were stationd here. The image showed 1 Venator that was surrounded by 3 acclamators.

'The space battle should be easy enough, the Jedi will be the real Challenge' "Commander, how many Vultures do we have?" "We have 456" "We estimate them to have 192 V-Wings" Grievous nodded and said "Prepare for Hyperspace, we will suprise them".

Daakman Barrek looked at the planet Hypori through the windows of the Venator in deep thought. His padawan, Sha's Gi, noticed it and asked "Master, is something wrong". Barrek turned around but before he could answer one of the officers shouted "Enemy ships leaving Hyperspace! 3 Capital ships and 8 frigates". The Jedi Master immediatley orderd "All man, prepare for battle!" "Sir they launched their starfighters, more than twice as much as we have!". While the crew was panicking they gave out orders to move their ships into defensiv position but the enemy caught them offguard and had more numbers than them.

The acclamators were the first to go down. Their burning wrecks fell towards the planet. Seeing this the Jedi Master got an idea, he turned towards the officers and shouted "We must land on the planet! here they will pck us of one by one but if we manage to land we might have enough time to call for help!"

The Officer thought about the idea "It can work, but only if they don't track you. We will stay here and distract them while you and the other Jedi will take the escape pod to rhe planet. Barrek was shocked by his words "I can't leave you here to die!" "This os war Jedi, sacrifices must be made" woth these words he turned around "All energy to the shields, we must survive until the Jedi arrive on the planet!"

Barrek was in a Daze. He didn't notice it when his padawn and the other Jedi took him with them to the escape pods and fled. He only snapped out of it when the pod landed on the pnet and Sha'a Gi shook him by the shoulder "Master we must hurry, they can't hold them of for long!" Barrek quickly exited the pod together with Gi and went to the other Jedi "What are we gonna do now" asked Shaak Ti "We must make conntact with the Republic Army or we are doomed!" Said Gi fearful "First we must seek shelter, the wreck of one of the acclamators should do for now" Ki-Adi-Mundi thought loudly "Then we have a plan" nodded Barrek. But he just couldn't help but feel anxious, tha force was screaming at him, warning him of something. Something within the Separatist fleet. He shook his head. He had no time to think about such things. The most important thing now was to survive amd send a distress signal to the nearest Republic forces.

Suddenly a blinding light filled the sky, the explosion of a Venator. The Jedi watched sadly and mourned for those who sacrificed themself to let them live.

Grievous watched happily as finally the last of the Republic ships went down. "Sir we detected a few escape pods that have landed on the planet!" 'Seems like the Jedi were able to escape' "Deploy our B2-Units and encircle them, I will take care of this myself" Grievous stood up from his command seat and went to the hangar where his shuttle was waiting.

Soon he was on his way towards Hypori, followed by his droid transporters. Once they landed the B2-Units began to encicle the Shipwreck and move closer to it. In front of the Droid Army walked confidently General Grievous. When the B2 where within firing range they halted their steps but Grievous only stoped once he stood dirsctly in front of the destroyd ship. "Jedi, you are surrounded, your fleet os destroyed, your men have died, help won't arrive fast enough to save you but if you fight me i shall spare the last survivor!". A Jedi left the wreck, "Brave words, for a Droid" when Grievous heard that he looked the Jedi coldly in the eye and ignited his lightsaber "You will regret those words". With a quick jump Grievous landed right infront of the Jedi and before he could react unleashed a storm of lightning fast attacks on him.
