On Sale

It had taken some convincing, but the free-spirited Mandalorian, Sabine Wren had chosen to join the Imperium. So as she went over to the machine which held the Jedi Knight Ezra Bridger in Stasis, she remained in her Imperium Pilot Uniform. It was similar to his own, with the pauldrons and neck guard decorated with the Imperium Emblem and the rank insignia of Cadet.

Her big brown eyes seemed to glow as she watched over him. It wasn't because she was in love with him, it wasn't because she had those kind of feelings for him. She had finally found him, a lost friend who had she thought dead.

Tobias Rune stood beside Ahsoka Tano who remained quiet watching her friend, watch over another. He smiled slightly as it seemed Tano wasn't letting any tense feelings towards the Imperials control her temperament. He so wanted to test her limits though.

"Why are you helping us?"

The Imperium was currently an enigmatic group of Imperial Warships. There was little known about them, but intelligence was slowly being leaked out by the New Republic High Command. Leia Organa, Skywalker, Lando, Han and Mon Mothma knew of their existence.

The only reason they found their way to that academy was because of the allure of the force, it gave them a path to him.

"The New Order isn't our Order. The Jedi aren't my enemies, but the New Republic won't be able to stand alone to protect an entire Galaxy. It's likely they'll demilitarize themselves, like the previous Galactic Republic prior to the Clone Wars." Tobias stated as he looked over at the girl who was standing beside him. She was older than him by more than ten years and yet he knew her entire life story.

"You have my condolences," Tobias spoke up as he turned to take his eyes back onto Sabine Wren.

Tano could feel that he was sincere about the idea of defending the Galaxy, but she didn't know what from. When he had suddenly gave her his condolences, she raised a brow and looked at him.

"Your friend, Plo Koon. The one who found you on Shili," He gave her a soft smile, but didn't break his gaze from Sabine who was talking to her suspended friend. He couldn't really make out what she was saying, but he could see that she was smiling while doing so. So this was what it would be like should you come across someone you haven't talked to in years?

Tano's eyes widened slightly and nodded, smiling a bit hearing this. An imperial giving her his regards, it was strange. Yet he wasn't like the ones who were around during the founding of the Empire. He was born only a year prior.

That's when Tano felt the fondness he was feeling towards Sabine Wren through the force. They weren't necessarily strong feelings, they were just strong enough to ease out from beneath his ironclad shell.

She couldn't feel his thoughts, he was completely blocking her off. Yet that warmth that came with the fondness couldn't be misunderstood. She could remember her feelings for the young senator of Onderon back during the time of the Galactic Republic, she smiled slightly remembering the kiss.

"But why are you helping us individually?" Ahsoka rephrased her previous question as she was more curious of why he was letting this bit of emotion out. Was he going to be truthful?

"I'm a fan of your exploits in the Clone Wars, Ahsoka Tano. Even though many truthful reports had been redacted or rewritten, I know everything that transpired." Crossing his arms he would closed his eyes partially and look at her from the corner of his eye. "And Sabine's a badass, I wouldn't want her searching the galaxy forever for a lost friend."

Tano nodded slowly, wondering how much he actually knew. On top of that, how he knew so much about her past. She knew that the identities of the Jedi were in the archives, but she didn't think they had entire biographies in there.

At that moment, Tano was forced into that of a vision. A Jedi temple burning, Luke Skywalker kneeling beside an astromech which looked just like R2D2. She saw a group of people, the Knights of Ren. She saw Ben Solo whom had turned into Kylo Ren.

Returning to her senses she blinked and looked over at the man who stood beside her. Had he gotten this vision too? Was this the reason? She was forced into another vision, the attack StarKiller base destroying a whole solar system.

Panting at the intense visions, she managed to keep herself standing up. Yet as she looked over at him once more, she noticed he was barely responding to her condition. Was he the one doing this?

"Correct." He answered her thoughts when she thought of whether or not he was the one sending her these images. She could only stare at him for a short while before letting out a sigh.

"Whoever they are... Their weapon is worse than both Death Stars combined." Tano responded with a twitching lower lip. She wasn't feeling anger, this was fear and sadness.

"Despite there being no Jedi Order, we should follow Destiny while in the moment, but we should also do what our hearts tell us to. Though there is no avoiding this," He let out a deep and heavy exhale as he turned to face the former Jedi and smiled at her quietly.

"By the way, have you met my Apprentice?" He suddenly changed what he was saying on a dime. Bringing up his Apprentice Kraytia. There was a sudden sneeze heard nearby, which seemed to be an empty corner of the Medbay.

That was Kraytia, sneezing as she was talked about right in front of her face.

It was a rather bad habit, something she gained through the force. If someone were to talk about her, the force would 'tickle' her nose. Or at least that is how she believed it worked.

Appearing out of her concealment, both the girl and Ahsoka Tano stared at one another. While they had not personally met, they had met once upon a time on a battlefield known as the Clone Wars. It was closer to a glance, more than an actual meeting.

"Kraytia, what do you have to report from the listening post on Rori?" He asked as he looked over towards the girl, a small smile across his lips as he awaited for the report he was asking for.

Nodding slightly, "Conversations about Jedi collections being sold had been flagged. Some of these collections include Jedi held in carbonite prisons, stasis pods and caskets are being held for auction in the sector."

Tis a short one o3o
