Morning Frizz

A soft explosion reached his ears, but there was no reverberation against the hull, no shaking of the interior or the smell of flames. His mind escaped from its deep slumber, allowing him to feel the gentle feeling of light upon his eyelids. Slowly Tobias opened them, he could feel his body was drenched in sweat, as was Sosha who had tucked herself up against his chest.

A small smile appeared across his lips as he laid there, allowing his eyes to focus on the top of her black haired head. However that's when he heard the shallow breathing and the presence of someone else in the room.

Glancing over towards the door, of which he had no idea why it was open, his sights rested on a blue skinned male at the side of his bed.

Thrawn was squatting by the side of the bed, in a thinker's pose, observing the human 'burrito' which had been formed on the bed. He could understand the sexual appeal of being close to another person, especially one who is bonded or mated to.

However he didn't quite understand the whole idea of being tightly strung together in a sweat inducing plush blanket made from corellian Fleece. "Hmm..." His red eyes ran down the structure dimly which outlined the two within, until they reached the stoic face of Tobias Rune.

They both blinked at one another.

Tobias was rested on his back and Sosha was tucked into his chest on her side. Her legs were intertwined with his, essentially trapped. Though out of the two of them, she seemed the most comfortable in this situation. Even though due to the sweat, she was practically sticking to him.

"Grand Admiral," Tobias spoke up with a nonchalant tone as he addressed the Chiss who had entered the room previous unannounced.

"Emperor," Thrawn responded with a brow raised looking at the human man wrapped in the fleece blanket with his lover barely visible other than the top of her head popping out of the burrito's mouth.

"Ciena Ree and Grand Moff Randd will be arriving in the system in a few hours," They were currently in the planetary system of Bastion, a fortress world which never had its security compromised in the legends continuity.

Thrawn's eyes stuck to the top of the Emperor's head for a few moments before raising a brow. "Sir..." He spoke as he watched Tobias sit up with the Empress in his lap, sound asleep and undisturbed by his movement.

His hair was pressed into a cowlick, stuck up on one side. Tobias had bedhead, but it wasn't necessarily prominent due to how short his hair was to begin with.

Seeing the look on the Admiral's face, he snickered to himself quietly. Tobias knew how his hair was, it wasn't much different from the hair he had in his last life. The most difference in this life is that he was force sensitive, didnt grow up on Earth and had intimate knowledge of the universe.

"So what's with the sounds of explosions?" He'd ask as he turned his head and looked to the door behind the Chiss. It sounded as if it came from across the office in the adjacent room where the one known as Leonia Tavira was staying. "Is she playing holo-games?"

The admiral nodded to the second question, answering the first. "Yes, quite fascinating isn't it? For the time I've been here, in the service of the Imperium, Leonia hasn't left her room. Went from a governor to a... What did you call it last week? A NEET? Non-educated, employed or Trained individual."

It was generally true, she became a mistress to a Moff of a planet. Killed his wife, married him. Then he died of a stroke and she assumed his title. She had no education, wasn't employed nor trained. All she did was manipulate herself into wealth.

Now she had nothing going for her even though he had said she would keep her title as a director of public transportation. Essentially if she was on earth, she was running a public service bus transportation company. It was rather laughable to go from a planetary governor to a director of a low-glory position.

Since he had wordlessly threatened her before through the use of the force, she had become a shut-in. She hadn't left her room since he had cut her gown with an invisible power. Constant room service.

"I think not only have I ruined her self-esteem, but I made her fearful." Tobias seemed to notice after over a month of having her within his life. While he was rather observant of his life, he had widely ignored her since bringing her onboard.

Maybe the reason why he had saved her, was out of pity? Or did he want to use her? Tobias couldn't quite remember. He made a mental note, not to ignore people he gathers.

Thrawn raised a brow at this observation, wandering what he had done to the girl. Though he didn't really care at the same time, it wasn't relevant to him. From what he could tell, she was corrupt, the reason why he still had the girl hanging around was beyond him. However he chose not to question this.

"She is without discipline, she is unrefined and a blunt instrument. Not meant for a political scene. She's a leach, Sir." Thrawn finally spoke up after a short period of the two just looking at one another. Though he was still visually examining the two wrapped like a burrito in a fleece blanket.

He saw it as a piece of art, no matter how temporary. It wasn't something he had seen, or at least seen often. Many would dismiss it as something ordinary or childish. Yet, he saw everything differently from other people. However, this wasn't something he could pick apart as he did with culture, traditional art and the likes in which he prides himself in using against his enemies. At least, not yet.

"Good point," Tobias would move his hands up Sosha's sides. Causing her to groan quietly in a murmur, nuzzling her face into his sternum. Clearly, she didn't want to wake up.

"Then let's put her through basic training in the Dantooine military academy," A small grin formed over both of their lips. The person they knew as Leonia was a person of ambition. Being put through the military academy could mold her into something quite a bit more efficient.

The question was, was she willing to leave that bedroom of hers? Both of them slyly looked across the office from where they were situated in the Emperor's chambers, towards Leonia's room.

Sosha's eyes slowly began to open, finding herself being caressed by sweaty hands. Slowly looking up to the man's face, she smiled at Tobias. Though she quickly noticed they weren't alone.

"Ah, good morning." Admiral Thrawn's voice rang in her ears as her face turned a pale pink. There was another male in the room? At least she still had the blanket to cover her up.

Narrowing her eyes up at her Emperor, she would brush the tips of her fingernails against his chest, scratching at him. Tobias looked down at her and grinned a bit. He knew exactly what she wanted him to do. The problem is however, it didn't seem as if he was planning on dismissing the Grand Admiral at this moment.

"It's so sticky in here..." She muttered as she pressed her forehead against his chest and closed her eyes partially. She felt as if she could go right back to sleep due to how warm it was, but the stickiness from the sweat and the strange feeling from their scents mixing together kept her awake. "We need to get ready..." She was unable to elbow him with much force since there was barely any room to do so.

"I know," Tobias snickered a bit and gently moved a hand up to her right cheek and caressed it quietly. "We will get in a shower in a few minutes." His eyes moved over towards the Chiss who nodded slowly, already understanding the Empresses plea.

Tobias needn't share another word, nor give an audible order.

Standing up from his squatting position, the Grand Admiral in his white attire, would bow his head and shoulders before walking out of the room and into the office to wait for his superiors to freshen up.

Happy Easter~!

I've been thinking of how I wanted to execute this chapter. Here it is, short and to the point. A bromance between Tobias and Thrawn. Enjoy Chapter 33.
