Lioness

Twitch, twitch twitch. Leonia's eyes slowly opened, blinking a few times in the process to clear her sight from her eyelashes. The feeling beneath her was soft, her clothes felt silky and stuck to her sweat moistened body. Her coal black hues moved side to side, taking in the scenery.

The room was rather plain, not very pomp or wealthy. The comforter was grey, the sheets were white and the pillows beneath her head matched the comforter. The walls and ceiling of the room followed the uniform colors of the bedset, a bit darker in scheme though, with the addition of elongated ovular light emplacements.

The air was stale, as she took in slow breaths, she could assume the air was recycled through life support systems. There was very little circulation, moderate at best. It was likely she was on board a vessel of some kind, as the air fell in with the light hum of the Star Dreadnought's reactor.

Her arms helped her prop herself up, depending on her elbows to keep her up. Her eyes narrowed at the outfit which had replaced her Imperial uniform. Her rank insignia was nowhere to be seen.

She found herself dressed in a singular white gown with long sleeves. Gulping quietly to herself as she saw her legs peeking out from underneath of it, she reached down and pulled the edge of her gown up slowly. A sigh of relief crossed over as she found herself wearing knee length white satin bloomers.

She had no problem using her body to manipulate men, but she definitely would've had a problem if someone were to take advantage of her while she was asleep. Thankfully that wasn't the case.

Running her hand through her short black hair, she sat up completely and hung her legs off the side of the bed. She grasped the rims of the mattress and stared off to the side at the window in the room. She immediately saw a planet below, the Planet of Naboo. It was about a sector or so away from where she had grown up.

She closed her eyes as she recalled how she ended up here. A stern, angry, expression crossed her face. Opening her eyes again, "She shot me," her voice sounded in an almost disbelieving tone. "The extraction team member shot me!"

"Don't let it bother you, she's trigger happy and she never apologizes anyway."

"That's funny, neither do I!" Leonia went to laugh out loud before pausing for a few moments as she realized the sudden voice had erupted in the room. Her gaze ran across every little inch of the room, yet there was nothing. "... What the fuck?"

Her mouth hung up a few centimeters in thought. "Where did that man's voice come from?" She questioned out loud as she moved to her feet and began walking aimlessly around the room.

The girl walked over to the desk which was across from the foot of the bed and stared at the seat which appeared empty, and was facing her. She stepped to the side, and it matched to face her. She clenched her jaw shut as if contemplating whether or not this was a prank of some kind.

Leaning forward slightly, she stuck out her finger to possibly poke whatever was there. She immediately widened her eyes as she felt someone breath on the finger and quickly retracted herself. She stumbled back a few paces before falling onto her backside. "The hell?!" She cried out in a quiet scream.

That's when a man wearing a modified dark grey Imperial Uniform that had shoulder-to-neck armor, with an inverted Imperial emblem and Grand Moff ranking insignia directly below it, suddenly 'materialized' right in front of her a few paces away. "Good Mornin' little Lioness," he addressed her by the meaning of the name Leonia.

"Uuh..." Tavira stared at the handsome man before her, though she was mainly taken in by his rank. It wasn't just any Moff rank, it was a Grand Moff. Which meant he had control of various sectors. Wait, if she recalled correctly before, her extraction was under a Grand Moff's orders.

She almost choked on her own saliva, coughing quietly as she covered her mouth with a closed hand. Personally it sounded rather cute, but also somewhat faked, even if that wasn't the case.

"Tobias, My name is Tobias Rune. Welcome to the Galactic Imperium Ms. Tavira." The Grand Moff snickered as he looked her over for a few moment.

"The fuck is the Galactic Imperium?" Leonia fought her confusion, she thought he was part of the Galactic Empire. She bit her lower lip as he simply grinned at her as she had asked this question. It was as if he was just waiting for her to ask that very question.

"The Galactic Imperium is my successor state to the Galactic Empire. It holds the ideals of the Imperial way of life, but at the same time corrects the idiotic policies and strategies which were flawed since its beginning." Tobias gave her that bit of information as he leaned forward in the chair as she remained on the ground.

She stared at him for a few moments hearing him say this. He was a Grand Moff, so he had several sectors worth of Fleets. A single sector had three to thirteen or more star destroyers within the Galactic Empire. And since he was a Grand Moff, he had countless vessels at his disposal.

On top of that, reports from the Battle of Endor which came in before the destruction of the second Death Star, apparently this particular Imperial had their hands on a Star Dreadnought.

All her thoughts paused in that moment as she began to think about the massive vessel. She was on board a Super Star Destroyer, one of the largest ships ever built within the entire Galactic Empire. Though it wasn't the largest ever thought up by the Empire, considering there were other ship classes which hadn't been built.

"So you're not with the Empire," the realization had blown right over her, she really had been abandoned by the original Empire. Left to rot, left to be eliminated by the Rebels and the New Republic.

The Grand Moff could feel the disappointment, and the relief, which was emphatically written all over her body language and within her thoughts.

She was relieved because she was taken away from a world where she was inevitably be taken down, or forced to flee. However she was disappointed that she was no longer in the hands, nor cared for, by the institute she had been serving at the time.

At a time like this, she didn't know where she stood. She didn't have her wealth, he had taken it. She didn't have a force of troopers to offer. She didn't seem to have any capacity to barter, or put herself on top other than to use herself. She wasn't above that though, it wouldn't be the first time she would seek out male company.

If he hadn't came to the planet originally, she would have had a handful of consorts as a pirate leader. Though being a consort to her, wasn't worth much since he completely outranked her in both social status as well as military might.

She felt as if she had fallen to the bottom of the food chain once again, yet he hadn't even once asked what she had to offer him at this time. As her gaze began to lower, she felt his hand under her chin which brought her face up to meet his. Only for him to flick her nose.

She grasped her nose with both hands, wincing in pain from the sudden weak assault.

"Quit being so damned depressed, it's like you're a brat that just got her wings clipped." Though that's exactly what she was, she had just gotten everything stripped from her.

"What am I?" The girl asked, her voice demanding an answer, her heart wanting an answer. She didn't like being weak, she hated the feeling of being poor. She wasn't going back to her mother's ruined mattress.

The two of them quietly kept each other company, staring at one another as he seemed to be thinking of a position to put her in. He didn't want her doing anything with revenue and he didn't want her doing anything with the military.

"Director of... Public Imperial Transit Services?" While he generally made something up, it was definitely a department which was needed. Free movement between imperial worlds was going to be a thing. And it was something minor compared to many other things. On top of that, the acronym spelled out PITS, quite clever.

Leonia held a blank expression on her face, she could tell he just threw that out at her as it took him a bit to think of it. "Really?" Her tone wasn't amused, it sounded like she was about to cry.

Despite her tone, he could feel she wasn't really going to cry. She wanted something more 'meaningful' or at least something that could reach her ambition. "You still hold the rank of Moff in this position."

Her eyes immediately beamed, seeing that she still had the title. Though she went back to thinking that she had to do actual honest work with the title now. She could do it though, she had the intelligence.

"That will do," was all she could say with a lopsided smile across her lips. She would at least not be on the bottom of a food chain. She would be on the top, at least in the transit world.

"Then you'll start in a few months," He snickered as the government of which he had designed, was on the other side of the Galaxy. On top of that, he had to remain here to fulfill his side of the agreement with the Queen of Naboo.

Hearing him say this, she blinked a few times. She was beginning to assume that she was going to have to wait for this whole thing to be set up. On top of that, she didn't know where this Imperium was actually stationed. Even though she would have assumed it would have been in his oversector.

Hugging her legs to her chest as she remained seated on the floor, she rested her chin on her knees. "So... You married?" Her voice sounded as if she was joking, but she was entirely serious, thought at the same time she was probing for information.

"Engaged," Tobias winked as if he knew what she was thinking. "But I'm open to the idea of having consorts?" He was giving a suggestion, generally metaphorically giving her ambitious side a nice nudge.

The idea of having him as company, didn't put a bad taste in her mouth. On top of that, he was engaged, yet ready to have multiple wives. A consort typically gained the power of the one they were wedded to, he was practically offering her an inkling of his power. "I'm sure we can work something out," a smug expression began to leak its way out to the surface of her lips.

However that smug expression slowly dwindled as she felt an unnatural pressure brush through her hair. Causing it to move as if it had been touched by an invisible wind, flicked by someone's hand. Yet she saw nothing.

Leonia blinked once, twice, three times. "What? What wa-was that?" Her eyes moved to his open palm which was held out at her. She watched as he closed the hand, only keeping the index finger pointed at her. When he began to lower it, she heard a slow ripping sound.

Like a precision utility knife, he used the force to cut a line from the collar of her gown to her left pit without harming her legs or anything that was in the way.

Lowering her left leg and sitting up slightly, she examined the rip that had appeared. Until she noticed, this wasn't a rip, this was a cut. Her eyes traveled from her gown, up to him. Her mouth was agape, opening and closing ever so slightly.

Tobias simply gave her a light wink before placing his hand on the top of her head and ruffling her hair as he stood up. "If you need anything, I'll be in my office." He walked over to the door which slid open; revealing his office and the door quickly closed behind him.

The room she was staying in was adjacent to the one which Kraytia had been in before she was first introduced. There were a total of four bedrooms attached to the office and one galley.
