As Nella and I are sitting in the command deck, a hologram appears in front of it. It's a program I created. While it's my job to teach Nella how to use The Force and a lightsaber. It's also smart for me to teach her about places she doesn't know.

I stand up and walk toward the hologram of the world. She's still sitting in her seat. As I turn to her, she's waiting for me to start.

"Tell me what you know about Dantooine at this point in time."

Knowing what she knows about Dantooine will make this a lot easier. I could skip over a lot more things that she already knows. Instead of answering immediately, she pulls out a datapad and presses a couple of buttons.

A new hologram appears, and it shows an old report. An Alderaanian school essay, to be exact. I begin to read it, and it was written by Nella herself. She knows a great deal already based on this. But only about The Old Sith Wars.

"This is good, Nella. Really good. You know about the times of Revan and Malek. Darth Treya and The Enclave. These were the times after The Mandalorian Wars. This saves a lot of time."

There is a look of pride on her features as I turn to look at her after reading her old-school essay. My arms cross my chest, and I flick my finger. Making the hologram turn back to Dantooine. It's time she learns about The Infinite Empire.

"A smart girl like you probably already knows about the existence of The Rakatan Empire. However, I doubt you know Dantooine's significance to said Empire."

This is more fun than I thought it'd be. I never thought I'd be a teacher in this sense, but the more Nella knows. The better off she is.

"Mom used to read me texts the Rakatan Empire left behind. In my own opinion, they're a very cruel people, and once subjected the entire galaxy to their rule. Until they lost the ability to use The Force."

I've got one smart cookie to teach.

"You're right. They were conquerors and created some of the greatest machines the galaxy has ever seen. And still use."

She cocks her eyebrow at that. Now, this is where I start teaching her.

[A/N: I thought about writing a lesson about Dantooine for this part, but I think it'd be best if everyone goes to the wiki. In essence, everything up to The Old Republic Era, is what Nate teaches Nella about Dantooine.]

"The true reason Malek bombarded the Rakatan Ruins on Dantooine was to hide the fact The Star Forge existed. It's important that you know this cause there are no records of The Star Forge ever being destroyed. Only lost in the stars."

Meaning, it's still out there, somewhere. Nate turns off the hologram of the old ruins, and he turns to me with a smile. I'm on the edge of my seat, ready for more, but I can tell this is the end for the day.

"Can I convince you to keep teaching?"

No harm in asking for a bit more...

"As much as I admire your enthusiasm for knowledge, it's best we leave the lesson on Dantooine there. We'll be arriving there in a few hours."

From the lessons, there are only a few farming communities and the native primitive Dantari people on the world. I've experienced primitive species before, and they're not very pleasant. Until they reach higher intelligence, most are very savage.

"There won't be much danger on Dantooine. It's a world out of the way of galactic traffic and holds little strategic value. But that doesn't mean we'll be welcomed."

That's for sure. When people come to worlds like Dantooine, it's either for isolation from the rest of the galaxy or to start a family in peace. They're very protective and wary of strangers, not just on Dantooine but on any world like it.

It's one of the limited worlds in our galaxy with much room for life. The Force does many things to many worlds, but planets that are full and teeming with life are rare.

Dantooine is one of those worlds.

"Can I ask you something, Nate?"

He turns his head toward me with a curious turn on his forehead.

"You don't have to answer if you don't want to... But what did you see in The Caves... On Dagobah..."

A solemn expression takes form on his features...
