Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

There is no way I can break free from my current situation. Whoever this person is, they're incredibly powerful, and not a single thing I do could harm or threaten him. I'm barely able to move my head, but I see him with The Star Cabal Founders.

"Where is the main operating base of The Star Cabal? Where are their leaders?"

He's after something the founders wouldn't know.

The Star Cabal of today shares very little with The Star Cabal of old. You could even say they're two different organizations with the same name.

"It's been a long time since we've heard anything about the group we founded, but you being here is a sign that things are getting out of hand, are they not?"

These are the best minds of their time, and this is a good example of that.

My eyes are locked on the Force User that has put me in this situation, and no matter how much I scan and theorize, there is no obvious weakness to exploit in straight-up combat.

"You don't know how true your words are. The Star Cabal is trying to destroy The Jedi and Sith Orders. And control the galaxy from the shadows."

That's completely different from how it used to be.

The Star Cabal was founded on the belief that letting The Jedi and Sith do whatever they wanted would surely bring about the end of the galaxy. So the order was formed to influence the two Orders subtly, and stop as much war as possible.

"Hmm... Much has changed in our absence..."

That's something that I didn't know, but I don't know much outside of Belsavis.

Both the man standing at the terminal and I watch as the holograms look at each other. They're having a silent and telepathic conversation.

"You're here because you want to stop The Star Cabal, right?"

The hologram speaks as if to confirm for one last time. The man nods a single time.

"Then we shall help you. The Star Cabal has outlived its purpose, and it's doing more harm than good."

I didn't expect that conclusion, but it was possible.

The hologram's head turns towards me, and he smiles.

"Do you mind letting go of SCORPIO? We'll need her assistance for this next part."

I feel the invisible Force lift from my body, and I stand up. I walk back to them, and I stare at the man. His eyes and the upper part of his face are covered. Only his mouth and chin are visible.

SCORPIO is staring at me with a will and fire a droid shouldn't have. She's incredibly unique compared to other droids.

"There is a facility here on Belsavis that we need you to activate for us. It's the power source for our liquid chambers. When you're finished with that, we'll tell you everything you need to know."

That doesn't make much sense...

They'd die if I cut the power to their liquid chambers.

"That's a bald-faced lie and trick if I ever heard one. How will you tell me after you're dead, and I sure as Fark I don't trust your droid here to relay the message."

I'm getting what I need out of this, and if that means I have to do this the hard way and extract the knowledge from the minds, then so be it.

The holographic man folds his arms and looks to the side at SCORPIO.

"You'll be taking SCORPIO with you. She knows where the current Star Cabal leaders are. Here, use this."

The terminal spits out a small data key.

"Plug this into SCORPIO after you're done turning off the power to our liquid pods, and all her encrypted memories about The Star Cabal will be yours."

Ugh! This isn't good!!

I'm straying too far, and taking SCORPIO with me will cause far more problems than I even want to count.

"I know that this isn't what you want, but we don't want to live any longer, and SCORPIO is the only one that can help you."

I turn and see SCORPIO with the same look she's always had when looking at me.

This sucks!!
