Keira

I jumped up from my bed trying to recall what just happened. It was only a dream I said to myself. Keira! Keira!! The voice of my mother Rose seems to bring me back to reality. You are going to be late for school she said.

I got up from the bed as fast as I could then rush into the bathroom. In less than twenty-five minutes I was out of the bathroom I quickly looked at the time it was already 7:15 am, I had just fifteen minutes else I would miss the school bus.

I quickly wore my uniform( a white collar shirt and a black-print skirt just above my knees, white ankle socks, and black loafers ) picked up my backpack, phone and wristwatch then rushed downstairs. I couldn't eat breakfast since I was almost late. I quickly greeted my parents and waved them goodbye before leaving the house.

Looking at my wristwatch it was already 7:25 and I had just five minutes left before the bus leaves. Luckily it's four minutes walk from my house to the school's bus stop.

I walked as fast as my leg could take me. Immediately I got on the bus I took the last seat at the back before the bus zoomed off.

While seated I plugged in my earphone listening to Michael Jackson's Man in the mirror. The bus came to stop at Imperial High School. All the student came down from the bus excluding Keira. The driver Mr. Peter called out her name thrice but no response from her. He had no choice but go to the back seat tapping her shoulder twice before she opened her eyes only to discover she was the only one left in the bus.

It was only 15 minutes drive to school and I slept off I said surprised at myself. I just shook my head then said thank you to Mr. Peter before leaving the bus. While walking into the school building I recalled the name, Jimmy. It was the only thing I could recall from my dream.

Somehow I felt it wasn't the first time but since I couldn't recall the full details of my dreams lately, I decided to let it go.

I walked into the classroom before the bell rang signaling the beginning of classes.
