336 Swan Song (2)

A dark abyss lay in front of her, inviting her to it. She did not know where she was but her mind was muddled with an unending grief. Why? Why am I sad? What is happening to me?

Her heart was filled with panic. There was no escape from the darkness which was approaching her. She should run. She should hide. She should not be there. Anywhere but there.

Run! She told herself but her feet were rooted to the spot. Her body would not move and she was stuck in that place with no place to run. She did not want to be there. The darkness was now heading her way and she wanted to scream.

She opened her mouth but to her horror, no sound would come out. Trying to muster all her willpower, she tried to scream but to no avail. Her vocal chords had completely gone useless and there was no way out.

Help me...she moaned in her mind. Get me out of here…
