Insecurities

This mansion is so much bigger than my father's house. The crisp, clean, polished surfaces and all the extravagant furnishings make even the man castle seem cozy and warm, too, which is surprising. 

"What will happen to Maria?" I ask Dominik while he sits on the bed watching me go through the closet for some clothes to wear. 

Luka left with some men to retrieve things from the house and secure it. I guess he intends on bringing some of the Kisa clothes without making it obvious. 

"She will have some paid time off." 

I glance at him, wondering how that works. Hopefully she isn't in any kind of danger.
