162 Dreams

"Little star" A woman's smooth voice is suddenly heard, making me slowly open my eyes. When my eyes adjust, my eyes shoot open as I jump up. The woman with bloody tears is back, standing in the room, watching me sleep.

I turn behind me to see an empty bed but when I look back, the woman is now closer, making me jump again. She watches me with that same silent sorrow as she slowly lifts her hand, pointing to the door. I look to the door, then back to her with a frown.

She stands there waiting, so I quickly pull the blankets back and get up. I walk over barefoot to the door and pull it open to find a long dark hallway. The ground was dark compacted dirt with rough stone walls making me frown. Was this door always here? What the hell is this? I turn back to look at her in question but she's gone! I bite my lip and turn back to the dark tunnel, nearly coming out of my skin yet again.
