197 Alone Time

Bai Lei looks to his mother and says "Mom, can you please help Lady Mei get settled?" Lady Xue gives Bai Lei a knowing smile and says "You don't have to ask, I'll show her around and get her settled." Bai Lei gives her a grateful smile as I turn to look at him in question. 

Bai Lei ignores my look and says "I need to borrow Nova for a bit. We'll meet up and answer questions later." With that, everything disappears and I find myself in a familiar room with a large pool of stars.

Lady Xue and Lady Mei both turn to look at each other and smirk before silently taking a sip of the fragrant tea. Zhen sighs and says "That brat..." as he walks over and sits next to the two women. Ren continues to stare at the empty spot with conflicting emotions as Lady Mei silently takes a closer look at Zhen's side profile.
