Act 3 - Art of Defending One's Own Self

After the samurai drew their swords to attack Star, the young boy leaped up into the air. Doing this made him dodge their attacks that would have killed him easily. "Fools!" Star shouted, aiming a well-aimed punch at one of the samurai. The punch had knocked away the samurai, but one of the other samurai had thrust his sword forward, catching Star's arm. Star immediately moved his arm away to only have a cut and not a gash in his arm. "What to tell me why the military unit is trying to gut me like a fish?" His voice showed his genuine confusion and the samurai gazed at Star in shock.

"You killed the man, didn't you?" One of them asked. Star got really angry at that.

"Why would I have wasted my time on a pathetic slayer?" Star demanded of the samurai. His words angered the samurai and they started to gang up on him again. Star refused to cut down the men that were attacking him and they took advantage of that. However, Star refused to let himself get stab and so, he fought back against the samurai.

He punched and kicked at the samurai. Although the samurai were older and therefore stronger that Star, his attacks knocked out the samurai. Because Star had defeated the samurai, he fled the area and he continued to travel. However, his guilty conscious had made him come back to check up on the still living samurai. He made sure that they had water and proper food. He kept watch over them to keep them safe and he fought off wild animals that wanted to eat them for food.

When the samurai had awoken from their slumber once again, they seen their defeater and they shouted at him. "Do you want to fight us again?" One of them asked him. Star got angry angry and he exploded on them.

"How ungrateful! I watched over you ever since the day I've defeated you! I protected you and I even fed you! The accusations of wanting to fight you again is agitating," Star shouted at the samurai, gaining their apologies and respect. They should have known that it was ,indeed, out of Star's good heart that he had watched over them. They felt guilty for accusing him of wanting to fight them again when all he did was save them.

Star walked away from them, promising that they'll meet again one day. The samurai agreed to that and they went on their merry way while Star went his own way. He thought that the samurai was entertaining and they were definitely strong. Star grinned as he gazed at the cut that one of the samurai had given him. It will heal and it will look like nothing was even there. He thought, grinning like a maniac. He was glad that he fought with the samurai.

Star trained himself well into the night as he wanted to get better at his own techniques. After he stopped his training, he decided to rest against the tree he had leaned up against.
