The Uninvited Guests

The words which Lucille had uttered might have sounded simple but there was a deeper meaning hidden in the two sentences she had spoken just earlier.

Not only was she reminding Lina that she had not considered the opinions of the adult by doing everything without asking for her advice but she also hinted at the fact that the two women had shown up unannounced at her home.

It was as though the owner of the house was worried that the guests would not be able to have a comfortable stay here as they had not informed her of their arrival beforehand.

The major emphasis was on the fact that Lucille had depicted herself as the owner of this house by uttering those words, amusing Lina to no end.

Somehow she and Stacy had turned into the uninvited guests in this scenario while Lucille had become the elder whose permission they needed to stay here.

Finding this situation to be fascinating, Lina's smile only deepened.
