69 Grade-A Meanie

"The servants in this house have no manners!" Lucille strode forward from the exterior block and marched towards the main hall with her eyes blazing with fury.

"Do these people even realize that there is another human being in this huge house who has been waiting for her breakfast since morning!" Her heels made loud noises as she stomped her feet and she entered the hall.

"MRS. PING!! If you cannot handle the work then just resign!" The moment Lucille stepped inside the hall she screamed.

Her loud screams attracted Lina's and Wayne's attention from their game and in an instant, they were blasted away by a grenade thrown at them.

Unbeknownst to the youngsters she had just offended, she continued with her heated words.

Blinded by her anger, Lucille did not even see them sitting right there and marched to the kitchen.

She pointed her recently manicured finger at Mrs. Ping's nose and accused her.

"You are doing this on purpose, right? You want me and my daughter to leave this house, that is why you keep treating us in such an inhumane way!" Tears welled up in her eyes when she saw that Mrs. Ping was with Chef Greene.

But when she saw the look of ridicule on his face, she dropped her act.

'I won't waste my energy on people who can't appreciate it.' The instant change in her expression surprised Chef Greene.

Lucille was not afraid of acting this way because she knew that on Sundays most of the staff went back to visit their families and most importantly, Patrick Yang had been missing for the past few days.

'Lina must be asleep and Wade has gone on a business trip.' She knew their whereabouts and thus she was acting this cocky.

"What are you looking at?" She rudely questioned Chef Greene when he was gawking at her.

'Pervert!' She glared at him.

But he was just wondering when she would realize that young miss and young master were right behind her.

"Don't you know that I have been waiting for my breakfast for the past hour. If you can not handle such a little task then you can let me know. I will hire someone better and more useful in your place." She taunted Mrs. Ping and saw the old lady clenching her jaw.

"Sooner or later you will have to leave that position. Why not do it now, this way you and that old geezer butler can go retire in some village." Seeing that Mrs. Ping did not respond to her taunts, Lucille got meaner with her words.

'Just a servant and wants to compete with me?' Lucille stood with her head held high and looked at them without hiding her contempt.

"And who the hell are you to hire someone in her place?" She heard a man's voice behind her so she turned around to give that person a piece of her mind.

When she faced in the direction that the voice had come from, she saw a tall man in his PJs standing beside Lina.

Their expressions were dark but Lucille was not in the least bit bothered. She was still riding the high of the adrenaline rush she got when she was yelling at Mrs. Ping.

"Who are you to question me? Lina, who is he?" Disregarding him, she asked Lina in an arrogant tone.

"Lina, don't introduce me to strangers." Wayne looked at Lina and winked.

'Oh, poor stupid Lucille!' Lina just nodded and looked back at Lucille.

"Hah? Who are you calling a stranger? This is my house!" She screamed at Wayne and then turned to Lina with a scowl.

"This is a house, not a hotel where you can bring just about anyone to stay here. Behave yourself when you stay under this roof. If not you can also leave along with these stupid servants." She threatened Lina in a serious tone.

'Is this woman drunk? Or did she forget who she is talking to?' Lina was amused looking at her foolish behavior.

'I thought only Mandy was a little delusional but it looks like Lucille is at the top of the list.' She snickered and turned to Wayne when she saw him trembling.

His entire body shook as he laughed in a low voice and stared at the woman who did not know what she was talking about.

"You are asking her to leave? Her? The heiress of this house? The future of the Yang family?" His smiling face now disappeared as he became serious.

"Who the hell is she?" He asked Lina and she whispered Lucille's identity into his ear.

"Oh… If it isn't the woman who ran away with the child in her belly just so that she can come back years later to extort money. Story of your life, isn't it?" He sweetly smiled at her and she gnashed her teeth because his every word was the truth.

"Your work is done already, you've secretly given birth to that child. She can stay in this house but why are you here?" He asked innocently as if he was asking about the time.

"Though I doubt whether that bastard child that you are forcing on my uncle is even his. Right?" He drawled out the last part and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the panic in her eyes.

"What nonsense!? We've already been through this. Mandy carries the blood of the Yangs. The DNA test has proved it." After she regained her composure, she calmly argued her case.

"Hmm... That might be. But you still haven't answered my question. Why are YOU living in this house?" He went back to the question that was making her angry once again.

"What do you mean why? Of course, it's for my daughter! She needs me here." Lucille stated her reason and Wayne seriously nodded.

"Oh, so you still breastfeed your daughter?" He asked and Lina was trying her hardest not to laugh out.

'What kind of a weird question is that?' She turned her head away to hide her smile.

"Why else would you still need to stick to your grown-up daughter? If it wasn't for that reason then is it because of the money?" He gasped and held his hands over his mouth as if he just blurted out a big secret.

'What a drama queen!' Lina saw that Mrs. Ping and Chef Greene were already cracking up, standing behind Lucille.

"What!? No! Why would I do that for money? I'm here because I do not know what you people might do to my innocent daughter to take revenge on her. Plus I love Parick, not his money." She swore and saw Wayne's expression change into a serious one.

"So you don't want money?" He asked and Lucille shook her head.

"You are here because you love Uncle and want to marry him?" He continued and she nodded while blushing innocently.

"Then it's settled!" He declared in a loud and excited voice.

Lina looked at him curiously and Lucille was excited at what he was about to say.

'Is he satisfied with my sincerity? Will he help me get to Patrick?' She wondered what he wanted to say.

"Since you are not here for Uncle's money then I will just order all the credit cards on your name to be canceled." He beamed at her and saw her sweet daydream crumble.

But she could not voice out her complaints because that would mean that she was here only for the money.

"I'm fine with that but what about the part with me marrying your uncle?" She still foolishly questioned him.

'Money is not an issue. I still have Mandy for that.' She focussed on the part that mattered the most.

"That? Never gonna happen!" He spoke in a singsong tone and smirked at her.

'Damn! That must've hurt like a bitch!' Lina loudly inhaled when she heard Wayne so brutally shoot her down.

"So you better watch your behavior and tone if you want to stay under this roof. If not you can leave along with your stupid daughter." He repeated the words that she had thrown at Lina earlier.

Not waiting for her any longer, he looked over at Lina and they both started walking away.

"Just who the hell are you!?" Feeling utterly frustrated at being treated this way, Lucille screeched in a shrill voice.

The noblewomen that she often tried to enact as was nowhere to be seen and she quickly followed after the two youngsters.

"Old age has not treated you kindly, has it? Your eyesight is already diminishing. Tsk tsk…" Wayne shook his head and continued.

"Don't you think my face is similar to someone else you might know?" He pointed to his face and made a frowning face with his eyebrows scrunched.

"Wade?" Lucille mumbled.

In her anger earlier, she did not even bother looking at him properly. All she saw back then was a pair of bluish-green eyes mocking her.

"Bingo! So now you know with what right I am speaking all this to you? So learn to behave and you can continue living here. Or else…" He did not continue his words any further.

He just smiled at her and saw the panic in her eyes once again.

Satisfied with the results, he dragged Lina upstairs with him.

'Bravo big brother! People think Wade is a meanie but you are the real grade-A meanie.' She then looked back and saw Lucille just stand in the same spot with her body trembling with anger.
