Who knows what might happen as tine passed by as disasters keep appearing on to another. They decided to not waste time and move forward with their plans.

The girl that was rescued by Annia and Mark earlier joined their group.

Jackie 17 year old. She's a grade 10 student at the NSSAT. She was together with her classmates when the disaster occurred, all of her 5 classmates were dead on the spot.

She was on the line to order food when the event's unfolded. Thanks to that she was able to survive. However the death of her dearest friends still have a toll on her heart and was still in effect.

Kent decide to separate from the group, as he move on his own.

The others first head towards a fashion store. Reaching the store the ground is filled with corpses metal shelves flatten a blood could be seen everywhere. fallen debris with the destroyed ceiling was displayed as their were some unlucky guys that was flatten.

The people inside were in a terrible state, as some lost limbs while others lost their minds. there were also those good samaritans helping the injured ones.

Jackie seeing this scene remember her previous state, after a few seconds she couldn't hold it as she vomited. The group didn't pay much attention to these scene as they themselves see far more worst as where they came from.

The others just strengthen their resolved and did what they needed to do. The store were still intact as they picked up large bags that they needed. After they were done they then head straight towards the most bottom floor. Where they supposed to gather supplies in the market place.

On the other side of the mall, two floors above. Kent is gathering tools and materials, putting everything in his bags. The scene as the store were similar to other places, corpses and blood filled the ground. the foul smell of blood is everywhere.

Some people begun ravaging the store for useful things, as they take advantage at the current situation. Some of the mall staff even pick up large boxes to be filled with valuable things.

Some of the people inside the store begun to fight over small thinks. Kent didn't pay attention to those guys as they didn't bother him. He continue to search through the store only picking up things, that he needed.

Kent that was about to step out from the store when, a large guy with a decent body blocked his path. one could see a scar on his necks, representing some kind of group within the city. the guy coldly looked at Kent.

"Hand over the bag kid" the guy spoke threatening Kent.

Some guys at the side begun to slowly move out afraid to be caught in.

Kent had a tired expression as he stared at the guy's hand that was blocking his path.

Seeing the boys eyes the gangster flinch a bit as he unconsciously step back. He was baffled at his own actions.

"The hell happen?"

The guy waited for Kent to handover the bag, but minutes passed by the other side didn't reply. this infuriated the guy. The gangster posture himself and was about to deliver a punch towards Kent's face.

While the latter just step a side dodging the attack. The guy was surprised and was about to deliver another attack but the same scenario occurred. Kent easily dodge the guys attack. he didn't even looked at the guy as he search through the bag for something.

Them a scream echoed. blood flow from the gangster's eye, a long sharp object pierced the guy's eye. The guy crouched at the ground feeling the intense pain.

However Kent didn't want to waste any more time and without a second thought, he used the sharp object that was punctured to the guy's eyes and used it to pierced the gangsters heart. Being pierced in the heart, the screams of pain slowly slowly desipate.

On his last moments the gangster had a terrified expression.

The others that witness the scene immediately run out of their wits as they just witness a murderer. They run as fast as a athlete, cold sweat flow from their backs as there hairs stood. They had a extremely terrified expression as they felt like their own hearts were punctured.

Kent didn't pay attention at the others as he move out heading at the bottom.

A few minutes since the other group started gathering supplies, some people that had the same though also rush and ravage everything they get pass through. Some of the mall staff did the same thing as they picked up huge boxes on their own. from children to elderly, man or women they were all the same. They plunder everything they passed through.

While Kent's group just pick can goods with some drinks and instant meals.

Mark together Annia headed straight towards the medical store and pick everything they pass through. They had a huge bag so they didn't think so much.

More and more people arrive at the market and started ravaging the goods like mad mans.

"Be careful we need to stay low key, don't get eye contact" Annia suggested. The others just follow suit as they were cautious.

After finishing gathering they decided to head straight closer towards the entrance being on guard at all times. The entrance was devoid of people, one could see a dozen broken vehicles. Some were still smoking as time to time a vehicle exploding could be heard. If the inside was horrible the outside was terrifying. Ruins filled the roads not it would be a miracle if one could see a survivor.

Some of the people inside the market started arguing fights begun to escalate. The group they low key and was hiding at the side.

A few minutes later Kent arrive carrying a huge backpack. While a bloody axe on his hand.

Even his classmates can't help but step back. as the didn't recognize Kent afar seeing Kent's in closed proximaty the group felt relief.

Kent smile blood still on his face. The group felt scared as cold sweat litter their foreheads.

Seeing his classmates expressions, Kent couldn't help but laugh in amusement.

His classmates can't help but slap their faces others scratching their head's, thinking this classmate of them really is something else. However unknown to them Kent wasn't acting everything that he displayed is to threaten other from coming closed. Moreover the blood were also real as it came from the annoying gangster that block his path and wasted his time.

The group slowly move out of the mall. Each of them carrying large bags packed with supplies heading towards Mark's house. That's 600 meter far from their current position. They careful move not wanting to drag any attention.

Finally the group reach Marks house. It's a large simple two story house that had the designs resembling the olden days.

"Oh Mark I never know you prefer historical style" Jason spoke cracking a joke wanting to lessen the stress that others were feeling. Others laugh at this while mark smack Jason's head in a friendly manner.

"This belongs to my dad" Mark reply in a worried expression

"Never heard of you speak about your dad" Annia speak out of curiosity as they slowly enter the area.

"Both of my parents were in the army"

The others can't help but laugh at Jason's playful attitude with the except Annia and Kent.

Hearing Jason's remark Annia blush punching Jason at the face. others can't help but wanted to do the same towards Jason's moronic behavior.

Jackie continue her own explanation "Because similar to big sister I also gain a ability last week, however I was scared that others might thought I'm a freak so I hide it" Jackie raise both her arms, a few seconds later energy slowly flow toward it coming from his body. It then form a small flame in her palms.

Seeing this the others had a jap dropping expression, disbelief at the scene. Mark on the side was surprised and immediately move closer.

The others then looked at Kent and Annia.

"Then you two also have a ability" Jason ask still had the shock of his life.

The two just nodded in reply. Jason sat himself at the sofa then crack a question.

"Can you do something like luffy in One Piece maybe heighten the length of your dick?" Jason ask in a serious manner while his eyes shine with expectation.

Others can't help but smack their own faces while Mark punch Jason's head.

"So Annia can differentiate between True and Lies while Jackie here can create fire then Kent what's your Ability" Mark looked at Kent his eyes sparkling.

Suddenly a ball flew and hit Jason out of know where.

A hours had passed since the party reach Mark's house the group and was preparing food's.

Everyone had their own task. They assigned each other with task suitable for each Individual, while the boys guard the house Mark and Jason stayed at the balcony while Kent is surveying up above the second floor.

As the time passed the groups anxiety grew and grew the skies turned uglier since they arrived at Mark's house.

Annia went outside to notify the boys. "preparations is ready let's eat"

The three was about to head inside then suddenly a surge of pain shocked everyone. The feeling of your head being pierced by multiple needles.
