8 : Cyrus Vs Angel (II)

"I know you're both from the demons… So let's make this quick shall we?" said the angel.

The angel grinned wider on top of the beast as he watched Cyrus face him. Apha was already cowering behind Cy.

"C.. Cy, he has a B-rank skill," muttered the alpha as she squeezed Cyrus' blue sweater.

'He's weaker,' thought the angel.

Once again, Cy and the angel exchanged glances. It was like a stare-down battle royale. With a devious, sinister grin, the angel looked at Alpha and leaped from the top of the dead spider. Kaboom...!

Cy's eyes widened when a dagger appeared in the guy's hand, and he was thinking he'd be planning to attack him, that's at an unfathomable speed (woosh).

The angel reappeared and slashed his dagger against Alpha, who was caught off guard too, however, before the blade could so much touch her frightened skin.

Kweuk'

The elf coughed out blood when Cy, out of nowhere, left a huge punch in his abdomen, sending the angel backward and kaboom, hitting the cave wall with dust particles.

"Bossie.."

"I'll be needing your blade," muttered Cyrus.

The angel rose from the crumbled pieces and wall, still grinning as he stared at Cyrus. "I didn't know you were that strong, were you?" He paused. "Are you concealing your true strength?"

Cyrus didn't bother answering the question because he didn't even know what that was or if he could do that.

"Well, you must be really strong to block my attack and counter at the same time. However, that won't be enough."

This time around, Cyrus didn't wait for the guy to get in on them. He got a boom, in a resounding outburst, they dashed at each other and slashed.

Bam'

Their blades caused shockwaves within the cave, and the angel was once again shocked with his eyes widened. 'Twice? That's impossible... Is he an A-rank skill user?' thought the angel.

He retracted his dagger and at a dead speed slashed Cy's throat, who was quick enough to dodge, hairsbreadth from losing his neck.

'Crap… he's too fast with a weapon,' thought Cyrus.

Now the angel was going all offense and leaving Cyrus in a very bad state of defense. All the while mocking Cyrus, he wasn't good enough, as their blades connected and caused thunderous outbursts.

"I'm not even close to using half a percent of my power," yelled the angel. He rotated his dagger and slashed. Cy got down and failed to block the angel when it smashed his knee against his chin.

Kweuk'

Causing Cy to stumble backward as he glanced in front of him, the angel was there with a grin and slashing at his neck again.

Slash'

'What the hell, his speed is insane,' thought Cy out of frustration.

Slash.. slash.. whoosh.. whoosh:

Cyrus was now having great difficulty blocking this madman's attacks, and soon enough, the angel slashed his abdomen.

Kweuk'

Drawing blood from Cyrus, the angel smiled. Seeing this, victory was at the corner. As Cy stumbled backward, the angel rotated himself in midair and kaboom.

He connected his feet against Cy and sent him slamming against the wall hard, creating dust and a broken wall where Cy smashed against.

"Is that all you've fucking got?" yelled the angel. He was beginning to love the fight, he was beginning to get engrossed in the battle.

Cy didn't read any of those, he could hear them unlike the time when he had to read them, but he now understands one thing. Whatever the red screen is, it's the opposite of the blue screen, the opposite of good and the true incarnation of destruction.

"Now what the fuck is going on there? Did I hit him too hard to death so well, wish he fucking died, then I'd be done with this region."

The angel tightened his grip on his two daggers as he gave Alpha a grin at She's next. He was about to walk towards Cyrus when he stopped at the wave of an enormous resilience hitting him.

The dust was gradually dispersing, but before it was dispersed completely, the angel saw an embodiment of darkness and red glowing eyes staring at him.

"Finally, he's about to get serious," muttered the angel.

Boom'

Not waiting for Cyrus to attack first, the angel dashed at him and slashed him. Cyrus, who was now emotionless, blocked the attack with zero to no effort.

Widening his eyes in shock, the angle slashed another region, and Cyrus caught it again. This time, the shock wave his attack was causing could damage a whole building.

Cyrus was blocking every single shitty attack, even Alpha was unable to follow the path of their motion, all she could hear was the clanging sound of the weapons.

"Fucking die already," yelled the angel as he connected his dagger against Cyrus's forehead, but our MC blocked it and smirked.

"That was cute," muttered Cyrus beneath his voice.

The angel jumped backward. Maybe he was right after all, maybe Cyrus was blocking the true resilience of his skill. Maybe that didn't matter anymore because he was about to die.

Cyrus took a step and gripped the blade tightly, he emotionlessly stared at the perplexed, confused, and sweating angel.

In an instant, kaboom, Cyrus dashed at him and rapidly slashed with a red photo beam following the path of his blade. It was a zigzag, horizontal, vertical, and rapid slash that made it look like he was invincible.

And when he stopped, his blade was covered in blood, but the angel was not bleeding, not yet... Kweuk'

All the cut marks gushed out blood along with his mouth, and his two golden black curved daggers fell from his grip as he fell to his knees.

Still emotionless, Cy placed his blade in the angel's throat. "Wh...what are you?" asked the blooded Angel.

"An embodiment of chaos."

Slit...'

The guy's head rolled in the sky and landed on the floor with blood enveloping the angel's reality. He died.
