Black Dawn: Shadow Rises
Kyron lost his only family to an illness. Since then, the high schooler had worked and studied while living in a shabby house at the end of a narrow alley. One year later, the boy heard of a urban legend where the person would be granted one wish if they went to an old temple in the outskirt and unsealed the imprisoned entity.
Partly because he could not get over the death of his loved one, Kyron followed the direction and arrived at an abandoned temple in the middle of a vast grassland. Unbeknown to him, the entity was more cunning and cruel than it was rumored to be. On the way back, he encountered a headless corpse, which became the link between the boy and a secretive world that existed under the peaceful surface.
The presence of magic, which had always been hidden, started to became known as ancient powerhouses rise from their slumbers. Chaos reigned while a few organizations tried to maintain the fragile balance. Monsters broke away from their chains and walked the Earth. Some let their hunger rampage, while others blended in the crowd, wearing the faces of their victims.
As annihilation drew near, Kyron had to find his own place before himself and the ones he cared about fell prey to the reaper.
