2 The auction

Three weeks went by rather quickly as I began to study and train my body religiously alongside the two girls. My granny has been absent as she left to hunt doflamingo, I heard her on the den den mushi at night speaking with different vice admirals and her rear admirals about his location.

I checked her notes about him during the day and noticed that senor pink hasn't joined yet nor has buffalo, Monet, sugar and baby 5. Hmm I guess they're still infants after all.

I have been memorising all the volumes of the devil fruit encyclopaedia to see what is actually available. And holy hell there are some op ones that I thought only existed in fan fics. Not to mention that there are undiscovered ones out there, devil fruits can come in the shape of a fruit or vegetable it seems as some were found to be pumpkins and onions.

Devil fruit typing isn't related to the shape of a fruit as tested by the marines. They held two squash devil fruits that were similar except one had a green striped pattern while another had an orange. I started doing that after the one punch workout did nothing for me. No sore muscles or anything the next day. I barely sweated under it so I went hard style. I also do some running in the morning around the island but that's pretty easy for me. After a month I'll move onto using weighted clothes that granny keeps in the gym for the weak marines.

Late at night I also try meditation to see if it could help unlock haki. It does calm me down and make my senses a little higher but not much else. I'll keep trying though, if there's no results I'll just construct a bean bag course and do it blind folded. Punching trees will also train my fists for armaments.

As I was doing some stretching the door to the room flung open and muret and mani walked in. They also started doing my training while studying their own topics on the side. Muret wants to become a doctor so she studies religiously while mani wants to be a chef so she's studying nutrition.

"Bellamy! The auctions tonight! It's on the other side of the island in maxmo town. We're definitely doing right?"

"Yup definitely, granny won't be here tonight so we can go. I memorised as much as I could about devil fruits as well as how some of the past users wielded them. Any clue what you girls want?"

Mani came up with a response "either a logia or something to do with money would suit me. I read that some guy are the gold fruit and is looking for the silver one. Maybe I can get that if I'm lucky"

I nodded as we planned to steal the fruits. Granny is going to capture everyone after the auction is over according to the paperwork in her office. So we're going to sneak in and nab them before they're shown.

We know this island like the back of our hands as well as all the secret passages. Sarquis always bragged about them so we just recorded all the shit he spoke. The canon version must have bonded with him after becoming infatuated with doflamingo but personally I don't think I will.

Muret then spoke "id like either the op op fruit, the heal heal fruit or a plant logia so I can grow herbs." I nodded at that as they would be good choices except the op op fruit wouldn't be sold here and the heal heal fruit is in dress Rosa.

"What about you bellamy? What do you want?"

"Me? Hmm well I would say a mythical zoan like an ice Phoenix or something but realistically something to do with metal. Much simpler that way"

Muret chuckled "always the realist huh bellamy" then we went back to my house to think up the plans. As soon as it got dark we headed towards the auction house in the other town. We saw numerous people in cloaks and several rich folk entering the building.

I noted security was focused heavily on the entrance and the back entrance. Sarquis' dad is working security here tonight or so the brat says. Who brags about their father being a thug? Well anyway he said about 40 guys will be here.

I counted twelve at the entrance and twenty out the back meaning 8 inside. I waved my fingers to the girls to bring the thing. We'd taken a ladder we found in the woods and pushed it towards the window from another building. Because it's dark no one would see us, after it landed on the ledge of a window on the auction house I pushed down to test the weight. *rattle rattle*.

No problems, I tested this in the woods before to see how fast I could walk across it. My body was abnormally strong compared to other kids which I think is due to genetics. Pushing out the impurities only improved upon that further.

After reaching the window I used a knife to open the lock on the window and slide it open quietly. Once opened I peaked in to check for guards. Coast was clear so I entered and waved to the girls. They followed as I recalled the structure of the building.

The basement was renovated to become the auction floor while the entrance leads to the seats. That means the goods are kept higher up. We began walking while suppressing our presence, benefits of having a badass in the house is that they teach you their tricks.

The old bellamy also liked to hunt for food sometimes so I have his experiences with tracking pray. I raised my fist to show that we hold position. We're on the top floor and the door infront is slightly ajar meaning someone is inside.

I sneak to the door and open it up to see a man with a sniper overlooking the guests. I noticed his uniform is the same as the doflamingo grunts in dressrosa that I remember. I quickly punched his head as he was lying flat he got knocked out easily. I positioned his body to look like he's still checking guests then checked his body.

*jingle* yup a pair of keys~ I pulled them out of his pants then decided to move on with the girls. I noticed mani staring at some rich woman who entered covered in jewellery. "I'll get you something special in here so come on" to which she smiled and followed me.

After about five minutes we found a large door being guarded by two guards. A buzzer sounded out so they turned and took a simulate pair of keys to the ones I have and unlocked the door. They entered then wheeled out some sort of owl sculpture that's embezzled with a few jewels. After that they locked the door and left.

As soon as they were out of sight I rushed to the door and began trying all the keys to unlock it. With a *click* the door swung open displaying all the goods. I drooled watching all this priceless stuff sitting ripe for the taking. The girls behind me have glowing eyes looking at all the stuff.

I snapped my fingers drawing their attention back to me. They blushed and decided to listen to me.

"Muret use the sack and fill it with with three things you want, mani take those bangles and necklaces. Don't forget to grab yourselves a pair of earrings. I'm looking for the devil fruits." They nodded and got to work.

I searched through the stockpile of goods and found 5 small chests at the back. I then tried my keys on one of the chests that managed to unlock it. Once it opened I found a devil fruit next to a note that read "ring ring fruit". I carried the fruit back to the girls and found what they picked. The fruit was a watermelon with a yellow ring pattern decorating it.

Muret picked some books that were about rare medical techniques and herbs found in the grand line. Mani picked some exquisite jewellery along with a tiara. I showed the devil fruit and they beamed.

I ran back to the last four chest and got them opened up rapidly. Four other fruits which included; inu inu model hyena, needle needle fruit, itachi itachi model honey badger and lastly a silver banana that had a stem in the shape of a spring. Yup the bane bane no mi. The girls stuff the other three devil fruits in the bag while I held the bane bane no mi.

I heard the door rustling so panicked, I pushed the girls to the back of the room and told them to hide here and then use the keys to leave once they're gone while I unpeeled the banana fruit. A guard spotted me and shouted "hey there is a kid in here" so I mushed they banana into a ball and stuffed it in my mouth.

Two guards grabbed me and I did my best to not throw up with this god awful thing in my mouth. "You little bastard! Trying to steal from the boss? Well why don't we take you right to him. Mr joker won't be happy with you". I swallowed the banana and said "fuck".

They dragged me away while I felt my body changing from the inside out. They took my outside and through me into a carriage and chuckled before they heard gunshots. The marines were moving in it seems. The driver cracked his whip and the horses took off pulling the carriage quickly to the outskirts of the island.

The driver dismounted then circled around to the back. He grabbed me and hoisted me out before dragging me to a cabin which was lit up with candles. The driver knocked the door before he heard enter. I was dragged in and shuddered as I saw the man I really wasn't looking forward to meeting.

A young doflamingo was sitting there dressed in a black shirt and pink tie with his classic pink flamingo feather coat on his back. He was smiling as he looked at me then chuckled after he heard the driver whisper in his ear.

He then turned toward me and opened his mouth to speak "kunkunkun stealing from me were you? What was it you were after brat?"
