4 Discovering devil fruits

Three days have passed and I have to say I have had a laugh. Sarquis has been muzzled literally by the local marines because he kept howling. I suggested they neuter him but they said that shouldn't be an option. Cowards~ now then my granny has finally calmed down enough to let us try experimenting with our powers.

Although we had to be accompanied by granny and uhhh Gion. I hate that bitch, she's always trying to convince muret and mani that men shouldn't be trusted and they should join the marines. She's been drinking the justice punch. We also frequently get into it, she can't accept my modern wisdom.

"If you think that not having a penis makes you trustworthy then there wouldn't be female pirates. If your seeing gender or race as an excuse to attack someone then your in the wrong". Apparently being pc isn't in the marine doctrine, granny also had to shut my mouth when gion said only males were rapists. She clearly hasn't seen the celestial dragons yet. Bellamy has, he watched a female dragon claw someone's face because they were prettier than her.

If your putting faith in an organisation like that then you shouldn't be preaching to me. The marines are only good for one thing, using them as a resource to grow stronger. Case and point the rokushiki manual I've been studying for the last three days. It includes the training methods and the signs of mastery. I smirked as I read it.

Now there are four of us in the forest, granny is spending her break watching us show off our powers. First up was Muret with her needle fruit, I told her acupuncture is the medical route to go with it but she didn't stop their.

{pincushion} she shouted as she fired put needles like a Gatling gun shredding through a tree in seconds. Tsuru only raised an eyebrow, the trees in our homeland are as tough as boulders to reducing it to firewood is quite the feat.

Next she sprouted needles from all over her body, followed by turning her arm into a gigantic spike. I asked her if she could rotate them while they're still attached. She's a human drill now~ after that i asked her if she could make her body the same type of metal as the needles.

She can! I then asked her to turn her fingers to needles and stab the tree. She pierced it easily so I turned to granny who had her eyebrows raised. I think she noticed where I was going with this. Our final test with her devil fruit was if she could pump liquid through it, after testing this with some drinks we had on hand we discovered she could. She can store liquid in her needles and inject them into people. Maybe she can make doffy into a full fledged woman like ivankov can if we get the right serum.

Next it was mani's turn, her ring fruit is interesting to me as I felt there more to it than making rings so I asked her what types she can make. Basically anything that can be attached to a body and is circular so I asked her what happens to people who wear her rings?

So we took a trip to a farm on the island and grabbed the bull from the barn. One glare from tsuru and it was obedient, mani then touched the ring in its nose and changed its colour. We then discovered that if you wear her rings she can control you, track you and communicate with you. Though it's only decided based on how she feels when the ring is placed. Muret tried an ear ring and mani chose not to control her but once she felt like it there was no changing the set condition.

After that was more testing for her fruit, I asked if she could make bladed rings so now she's going to learn how to fight with chakrams. Then we tested if she could control the weight of the rings. The longer she focuses the heavier the ring gets. Next we tested if she could manipulate colour, it's only when she's touching them.

Then there were the final three tests, first if like Muret she could turn her body to metal and sharpen them. It was a success in that stage. Second could she make a storage ring like in Wuxia comics? She said that she didn't feel like she could now so maybe in the future. Lastly could she use rings like sonic? Where she jumps through a big one or stands on one and it propels her, she can!!

Granny was amazed at how versatile that devil fruit and made us swear not to leak it's abilities. To be fair is she started selling jewellery at the entrance of a town within half a day she could control the population. Next we tried mixing gems in when she was making the rings. She can make more complex designs but it's like moulding clay for her.

The girls can use two or three of the rokushiki thanks to their devil fruits. Muret can use Tekkai and shigan while mani can use those two plus geppo and soru thanks to the rings. Now she just needs to work on placing them rapidly.

Finally it was my turn, I always theorised that bellamys devil fruit was essentially a free rokushiki tool. Now I get to test the theory~

First up was turning my body to metal; check.

Next was sharpening parts of my body; check, I make parts of my body into the sharp end of spring. I compress my arms then fires them out using a spring transformation on my arm. Hmm depending on how long I compress displays a different effect. No time at all means a swift stab but a longer compression means the stab flies lien shigan. I then tried it with my whole fist so I could use the advanced version jougan

Next I tried turning my calves into springs then compressing them. After I released my feet bounced off the ground twenty times with 0.1 seconds which resulted in a soru being executed. I slammed straight into a tree because I was unprepared for the rapid outburst.

Hmm partially compressing let's me use soru but then entirely compressing my leg makes me get an extra jump like geppo. After that I stuck one leg into the ground and sharpened it like a gigantic sharp end of a spring. While it was embedded into the ground I compressed the leg and after a while I released it generating a rankyaku blast to fly out decimating several trees.

Now onto the final move, instead of a spring in a suspension system that's tough and can endure I imagined a different spring. I imagined my body becoming more like a slinky, it felt like I became incredibly light~. Granny dropped her drink once she realised that I recreated all the rokushiki with my devil fruit. She then picked up some stones and tossed them at me. My body bent out of the way just like kami-e.

Hmm maybe I can dodge another way? "Granny try aiming for a specific spot with a rock but tell me where." She nodded the said "throat" and threw the stone. Suddenly my throat unwinded and became a spring, the rock passed through a gap in the spring smacking into a tree behind me.

Woah~ if I had haki and could predict where I would be hit I could pass myself off as a logia. Granny also seemed to realise this so I turned to her "granny can you teach me haki?" Her brows furrowed "where did you hear about that?"

"Oh that pirate guy we took down explained it to me. Plus those big sisters on your ship always talked about how it was 'so easy to learn'". "Oh did they now?" "Yup so can you teach me?"

She then sighed and waved her hand signifying that she would. Muret then asked "granny tsuru what's haki? Some kind of technique?"

Granny then sat down on the deck chair she brought with her and began explaining. "Haki is the utilisation of ones spirit or soul. It can be done through three method though most can only use two. Observation which essentially grants a sixth sense that makes the user untouchable as they can see and react to every attack. Or armament where they shroud themselves in their will and attack with it, it amplifies attacks and increases Defense. The third one is special and is called conqueror haki, it can only be used by those who are very special. It oppresses people to the point they pass out in someone's presence. You'll know when you see it not then bellamy~ continue."

Bellamy the tried using other methods of attacking with springs. He reproduced the gum gum attacks with his doings except rifle which was far easier as his is already in rotation.

Bellamy then tried {spring constrictor} which is when he traps something inside the spiral of the spring and compresses it so they get trapped. He can do it with his arms and legs or use his entire body to perform it.

Next he tried reproducing gear two and three and was actually able to perform them. Though they came with side effects, gear two made him incredibly dizzy and dehydrated after he used it and gear three could only be used to increase the length of his attacks. He tried using the elongated gear three fist to compress into a super punch but it hurt his arms a lot. So those two gears are off the table till he's more mature.

Next he tried making martial arts moves from different series. Blast core of wakatsuki from kengan series was possible but much like gear three it made his body sore to compress it like a spring. Next was tatsumaki senpu kyaku from street fighter. It was remarkably similar to gum gum ufo so he could perform it. His body can be spun around like luffy though it doesn't stretch like his.

Finally he tried to make two techniques he dreamed about in his last life. One of which actually exists here but unfortunately his devil fruit mastery isn't enough. After he awakens he should be able to bellamy theorises.

Tsuru and the two girls couldn't believe their eyes as they watched bellamy. He was a genius with his powers, they only felt slightly better when he stated he can't do most of what he wants because his body isn't strong enough.

Tsuru then decided that she was going to train these three herself. She'll train their bodies and make them learn the actual rokushiki while also studying their preferred subjects. After that haki training, she still doesn't know if she should let these three be marines with how freakish they are. Her grandson constantly surprises her and she can sense the minor fanaticism she's seen in some marines in the two girls directed at Bellamy. For now two years of training to get them into shape.

Meanwhile with doffy chan she has awoken from her surgery and discovered her bodies changes. She's never felt such rage "it'll be one of the biggest regrets of your life" kept resounding in her Head causing her to leak her conquerors haki. Red lines scattered throughout the air as her temper rose. Tsuru and that blonde brat, he'll skin them alive he thought.

Suddenly he heard party music coming from the other side of the ship. He walked over to see the commotion only to find his men terrified. He looked over the edge and spotted a heart shaped ship barrelling towards them. The flag read "New kama pirates" doffy chan felt angry for some reason as his injuries stung at the mention of the title of those pirates.

He heard "heeeeee hawwwwwww there you are doffy shwan~ big news Morgan told us all about you. You almost joined our crew there for a minute so we came to fully convert you" said a large purple haired thing that kept winking at him. It then continued "we can either do this the easy way~ or the hard way~ the choice is yours~"

The veins on his forehead bulged "I don't know what you are but if you don't leave right now I'll string you up by your intestines. I'm in no mood to deal with clowns in make up."

The large purple haired thing narrowed it eyes "the hard way it is~~ come one candy chans lets make doffy chan into one of us" then the rest of the new kama pirates appeared and started chanting "one of us, one of us, one of us" as they attacked the donquixote pirates.

That day was one of the harshest battles of doffys life, shame she lost the battle~
